Highly recommend Lyons & Co. I have recently completed two separate property transactions with Lyons & Co (a sale and a purchase) and have been hugely impressed by the quality of advice, level of service and speed of the team there. Every email I sent had a same day reply (or early the next working day if out of hours). Even when my main contact was on leave, temporary cover was in place and that reply speed was maintained. The phone is answered quickly when you call and everyone I spoke or wrote to was helpful and friendly and most importantly knew the answers to the questions. When our purchase was having some challenges with a long chain, Lyons kept on top of it following everything up and generally doing exactly what you need them to be doing in that situation. Following a bad experience on a previous purchase with a different solicitor, my view was pretty jaded but that has been turned around by the extremely efficient service from Lyons & Co.

Following a recommendation, we instructed Lyons & Company on our house sale and purchase. The transaction was extremely challenging due to issues posed by the end of the chain, plus the pressures of the stamp duty relief deadline. While purchasing a flat with my partner I was always told about the problems you have with solicitors, in which "you always have to chase chase chase, they hardly know what is going on etc etc" I never experienced that here! Lyons and Company provided an extremely professional service, not once was i left in the dark and I never had to chase them for an update. We chose Lyons and company, as they were a local to us at the time and following a recommendation. We were not disappointed! The sale of our house was an extremely pressured and expedited affair, (our buyers were under significant pressure from their buyer with some very tight timelines imposed upon them and us). Lyn Lyons represented us. She is a wonderfully pleasant and professional lady. Lyn handled the sale of our property with an extremely calm ease. Her dedication and commitment can by exemplified by the emails we were receiving from her at weekends and well after office hours to ensure all matters raised by the seller’s solicitor were dealt within the strict timescales imposed for the sale. As a result the sale of our house went extremely smoothly. Following our sale we moved away from the Woking area into a rental property. Some months later, having found another property in southern Hampshire we approached Lyn to ask if she would represent us. Again we were under pressure, this time by our sellers whose mortgage offer was due to expire. Lyn stepped up to the mark and once again her knowledge, efficiency and experience along with a calm, friendly approach helped us to complete our purchase in good time and with minimal stress. From experience we have found the variety of other conveyancing solicitors we’ve used previously to be a fairly disinterested bunch. This is definitely not the case with Lyons and Co. All the team we dealt with there are polite, friendly, efficient and above all do an extremely good job. We would highly recommend Lyons and Co Solicitors.

We used Lyons to buy our house in Woking in 2015, and again this year to sell a flat in Croydon. The team (Roumana and Suzannah) we really great and handled the various issues we had with the buyers solicitors very well. In the end we had to arrange Exchange and Completion on the same day to help the buyer, and this was done perfectly. Fabulous service - will use again and can recommend without reservation. UPDATE Feb 2022: We used Lyons again to sell our Flat - and again we are very happy with the service, professionalism and above all - patience in resolving a tricky leasehold sale. Helen was fantastic with dealing with the buyers solicitor (a big London concern) who were very demanding to say the least ! Many thanks again.

First rate professional and friendly service Highly recommended. We recently needed to sell our shared ownership flat in connection with purchasing a house in Cornwall. My wife call in to the Knaphill office to make initial enquires and was immediately impressed with the knowledgeable but friendly response to that initial query. We decided to go with them and were so glad we did. They gave a detailed estimate of all costs,. Their part of the costs we found were very reasonable. The initial meeting was very helpful, thorough and friendly and they went over all that we needed to know. A year ago almost i lost my wife of 47 years and as executor of her will I turned to Lyons to assist me to apply for Probate and to advise in relation to Inheritance Tax and in other ways concerning gifting assets to my kids. Subsequently we decided to sell up and "downsize" so i used the conveyancing department to sell my Woking Home and buy a bungalow in Dorset. There were problems in relation to both transactions - not caused by us but by other 'difficulties' in the chains - Lyons advice was always spot on, every communication or question of mine was promptly answered and i felt total confidence in my conveyancers.
