I have just finished 3 weeks work experience at Mackrell Turner Garrett and have really enjoyed my time here. I was able to witness the fast paced dynamic of a Law firm and was amazed at how the different areas of Law overlap. The staff were all really lovely and welcoming and were always keen to answer my questions and explain their career paths to me which I found really interesting. I loved sitting in on the client meetings as it was able to bring my first year of Law to life. I was able to write up attendance notes after the meetings and was intrigued by the way the solicitors composed themselves and interacted with their clients. This experience has really motivated me with my further studies and has inspired me to pursue a career as a solicitor by seeing how dedicated the solicitors at this firm were to their clients, always acting in their best needs. I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to carry out work experience here and it has really brought my studies to life, seeing the pragmatic impact of law in action.
