I have made several visits to Connswater Halfords over the past few months, and so far, I’ve had very positive experiences with the staff who handled my enquiries and purchase transactions. For my most recent visit, Victoria dealt with me regarding the collection of an online order, and the subsequent use of a gift card. Throughout our interaction she was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and displayed excellent customer handling skills. I observed that she appeared keen to help her customers have pleasant and straightforward shopping experience. On the same visit, I made a second purchase a short time later and a male staff member also handled my purchase in a prompt and efficient manner. It’s nice when staff members appear to enjoy their interactions with customers. Based on this experience, I left the store with a very positive impression of the staff. Well done to this Halfords team!

I think the staff here has a very good training. I've been talking to more staff members and all of them have been very nice, friendly, professional and with patience. Just bought a bike here through C2W scheme. The evening I picked out my bike Chris was extremely helpful in giving advice and letting me try out the bike for size etc. On the day of collection Michael had my bike built and ready for me a day early. He then helped setting the bike up to suit me. Great customer service from all involved. No hassle and I feel confident that if I need any further assistance all I have to do is ask.

Great customer service from Michael @ Halfords bike department. Left a few bikes in to get a service and I had been mistakenly booked in for a service not required; whilst Michael had the opportunity to charge me for various pieces, his honesty led him to advising what was actually only required.. This type of customer focus rather than corporate, meant that I then went on to spend a more substantial amount in-store than I would not most likely have had it not been for his approach. Michael was exceptionally polite, pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. Based on my customer experience with him,my wife and I will definitely be back.

Visited 07/09/2021 to get a headlight bulb replaced and have to say I am overwhelmed by the level of great customer service I have received today. Those who read this review may think "overwhelmed" is too strong a word but this is exactly how I felt. The fitter Gareth could not have been more helpful, was full of cheer and chat and fixed my issue in no time. It was really refreshing to see someone so happy at their work. I normally go to Newtownabby Halfords but I was ordering some items on-line and I was directed to the Connswater branch. I was please to find out that Glider I goes directly to Connswater Shopping center where the Halfords is located. So easy and convenient to get to! The purpose of my visit was to get some Karcher cleaning liquids for my Karcher window washer. I had fast and pleasant experience at the check out. During my visit, I did ask a question not related to what Halfords sells, - about a letterbox I needed replacing.

Was enjoying a Sunday off with a nice drink from one of the nearby coffee shops after a walk. Turned my car on to notice I'd a tail light out and noticed Halfords across the way. Felt bad as it was close to closing time, but I was working the next 3 days and didn't want the chance of being pulled over. Went into this store for the first time and was met by a lovely man called Gareth. He gave us a warm welcome and made it so easy for us, he went over and beyond our expectations. Nothing was too much for him. He helped out and tried a few times when my bulb wasn't working and was so reasuring and apologetic when it wouldn't work but he offered me a solution. I couldn't have asked for better customer service and even complimented my boots which is always nice to hear. Would definitely make me want to come back to that store. Staff are always friendly and helpful, the prices are usually higher than motorfactors, but you are paying for the convenience , especially long Sunday opening hours. So prices are acceptable on most things. My only negative is, the store feels understaffed sometimes.

I went to halfords at conswater Belfast to get a much needed set of windscreen wiper blades, but I did not know the right set required for my 2010 mk5 Vauxhall Astra, but the girl serving me went out of her way to find the right set. All in all I was very pleased with the service I received.

I want to say a big thank you to Jordan Connswater Branch Belfast. He's so helpful and a credit to the company. We got two mountain bikes yesterday in post (self build). My daughter and I brought them in store today to have then checked. He tightened bolts, checked the brakes, tires etc and answered any questions we had. We left feeling confident out bikes were safe for the tracks. I was also impressed at how quickly our bikes arrived. Top marks for Halfords 👍

Visited the Connswater store Dec 20 to look at dash cams. Had the pleasure of being assisted by Marcus who was friendly, helpful, patient and very knowledgeable on the devices I was enquiring about. Definitely made the visit much less stressful than I had expected and was really pleased with my eventual purchases and how accommodating he was in getting my car booked in for the fitting. Ended up buying 3 of the dashcams to include gifts for others, due to how reassured I felt with his ability to provide all the information i needed. Definitely recommend and think Marcus is a real asset to the company. Dealt with Marcus once again when I returned for the fitting and found him and the other staff to be just as courteous, helpful and efficient as last time.

The staff member initially couldn't find it but did after I'd just left and he rang me. As usual, Neil and his colleagues (in the Bike dept) were exemplary in their dealings with me; bike was booked to be serviced on Fri 21st May, 2021, but Neil phoned me on Weds 19th, and left a message to say he could take bike a day earlier, which I subsequently did, bringing it to the shop on Thurs 20th May! The bike was checked and all work needed doing was completed promptly, meaning I could actually take the bike home on Fri 21st, instead of handing it in. Excellent work Neil, and colleagues....appreciated. The ONLY reason I have not given my review 5* is down to your new phone operation; what a pantomime! When i tried to phone Neil back on Weds (I missed his call, hence his message) after normal work hours (after 5pm), I was put through to a charming lady in Johannesburg, South Africa. Initially, I assumed she was a new member of staff in the Connswater shop, but it soon emerged that she was, indeed, in Jo'burg! She could find no record relating to me...or my bike. She said she had tried phoning the shop herself, but had not been able to speak to anyone?? She said she would e-mail the shop manager asking that someone phone me the following morning. Again, I assumed that this was the 'out-of-hours' call centre, but it turned out I was wrong! On Fri 21st, I again missed a call from Neil (around 10.30 am, so during office hours) and tried phoning him back directly via the 'Press 5' option on my mobile, but, once again, was connected with a charming lady, called Kelly, in Jo'burg! After explaining why I had tried to phone Neil back instantly after his missed call, I then had to spell both of my names to Kelly (phonetically), as she struggled to understand my Northern Ireland accent, which is fair enough, as it is not the easiest (nor most difficult!) to understand. Then Kelly asked me for my order number, which I had to go and hunt for, (in a different room!), which I had not expected, as I thought I was phoning Neil back, as he has known me for several years (over the life of several Halfords bikes!) andwould have no need to check my order number! After putting me on hold a couple of times, for which Kelly apologised, I was finally connected to Neil, and we had an approx 2 minute chat, before terminating a 15 minute call, all told! As I have stated above, what a pantomime! Having to phonetically spell my name is something I am used to, but if I had been able to speak to Neil (or any of his colleagues) directly, I would not have had to do so. I did not note the length of my 1st call (via Jo'burg) but the 2nd call lasted just over 15 mins, which (if common sense prevailed!) should have been about 2 mins! Even if Neil had not been available to speak to me, i would rather have phoned him back 15/30mins later, rather than spend 15 mins (mostly on hold) talking with a 3rd party in Jo'burg. IF, when I get my mobile phone bill at the end of the month, I am charged for 2 x international calls to South Africa, I will be back on here again, and Halfords (not the ladies in Jo'burg nor the staff at Connswater!) will receive a BLISTERING review from me....which will rate as ZERO *. Happy to discuss with anyone from Head Office etc, should you wish; you'll have my number in your system. Going back again to the service IN-SHOP....scores 5*. Thanks Neil and colleagues. Purchased over the years three reliable child seats, under the expertise guidance of friendly, welcoming and non-bullish sales staff whom are encyclopedias of knowledge in all areas on items for sale. I went in to buy a car seat for a visiting grandchild and was welcomed on arrival by a young male assistant who offered help.I was able to proceed without assistance and browsed at bicycles for both adults and children...then had a look at cycling helmets before going on to choose the item I purchased.A young female assistant at the checkpoint was extremely helpful explaining return or exchange facilities and I left with the item I wanted feeling I had made the right purchase at a good value for money price.

I bought a couple of bikes here a month ago, all was well until one of my spokes on the front wheel had come loose. I took the wheel back to the store and they replaced it with a brand new one. Whilst I was there I bought a racing shirt and when I got home I noticed it still had the ink security tag on. I live 35 mins away so had to wait until I was next in the area to get it removed. When I arrived at the store and explained the lady behind the counter could not appoloise enough. I had a full refund and got to keep my shirt. Well done Halfords, on the two occasions I came back expecting a fight to get things sorted it was pleasent to be assured and given above and beyond what I required.
