I ordered an air control valve which arrived with the throttle body but it was the wrong part. Photographs of the required component had been provided and additional information i.e. engine number and registration had been offered. As a result I had to return it via the parcel service. Another replacement part was sent out and came the following day in the afternoon with throttle body attached. This was the correct part and fitted the vehicle (all working fine at present). I will be using the service again.

Was looking on line for a part for the car and came across a site where you put your contact details in etc. and wait for messages to come back from people that have your part.!! So went up to AK motors in Saltley after calling them yesterday. I found them very helpful and knowledgeable etc they make sure it's the right part. Good bunch of lads.

Ali was my initial contact with AK and therefore , I personally request to speak with himself whenever I call and via their Email service too . This has resulted in continuity , knowledge and confidence with regards to sourcing the correct parts for my vehicle and not purchasing parts that I do not require through discussions with Ali. Ive used this company on a couple of occasions and they seem to always find the right part for me which other suppliers fail to do. I have used their delivery service (2-3 working days) and I have visited the branch myself. One of the best things about them is that they give a 3 months guarantee on their second hand car parts which is excellent because other suppliers barely give you a month if your lucky!

I came here as my car was making weird noises, i was recommended by a friend I was seen ASAP without any hesitation staff were extremely friendly, especially Taheer, very polite. I spoke to other members too. Bob and the tall guy in the office. It was raining so they politely asked me to stay in the office, i was offered tea and biscuits. My car was fixed and i did not have any issues after that. Would definitely visit again if anything happens to my car! (I hope not) god bless its people, kind regards Mrs Rose.

Sold me a light unit which had broken clips, 1 guy told me 15 quid then another guy came along and made me buy for 25. I spoke to 3 people here 2 was friendly and 1 was a bit rude, i felt like i was being ripped off as they could tell im not someone who knows much about cars. Would recommend if you are savvy with repairs as they seem to have everything. They get 4 stars on the basis that i believe i just had a bad experience, i believe they could be really good just im unlucky
