My Grandson has outgrown his first car seat and I popped into my local Halfords for advice.. The guy was extremely helpful and showed me the possible choices that I could make within the correct range for my Grandson's size and height. He fitted the car seat and gave me clear instructions on taking out the seat and also the fixings for the child. His patience with Granny was amazing !

Mixed. I purchased a bike from here on Sunday, and would've been happy with five stars with the level of support I got from Phil. The same can't be said for another guy this evening; although he was by himself he didn't seem very attentitive or motivated and was kept waiting in line for 10 minutes to collect the bike. When I did get round to being served he put priority on the customer behind me for a quick order, and to round off my dissatisfaction he wanted to charge a £5 extra fitting fee for a kick stand on a new bike which I had expected to be fitted during the build. To his credit he did eventually offer to carry it down to the car, but by then I didn't feel respected or treated like a customer you'd want repeat business from. Overall - good support in sales, mediocre if you get the wrong guy.

Great service. I looked online for the battery I needed and ordered it via click and collect. I received a message about 20 minutes later informing me it was ready for collection. The colleague in store was really friendly and helpful they even offered to take my battery out to the car. Top notch.

The boys and girls at Halfords Brighton have been extremely helpful recently. I went there a couple of weeks ago to order and fit new EU compliant number plates for my car. The first set they fitted had a Union Jack and GB next to the registration. When I got home I googled what the new plates should have and found out that they should have UK not GB. I went back to the store and they quickly said they would reorder new plates with the correct UK and fit them for no extra cost. They look great 👍

Ordered some speakers on-line and the store called to check I had ordered the rights ones. Took the car in and a check was made which discovered I needed adapters and different speakers. These were ordered and then when available fitted. All very efficient and all handled by Julian who was very helpful and pleasant. Thanks.

I had purchased a bicycle from here. Visited twice, and both the times, I met people with great attitude in the bikes section. They were really helpful to sort out some issues. The only problem I had was with the website, which has issues. Unfortunately, my cycle is stolen, and when I am buying a new one, that will be from here.

My son's old pick-up had a barely functioning radio/CD player which needed updating to a Bluetooth unit so he could connect his phone for hands-free calls and his own music. I picked a quality Sony unit online and selected Halfords in Lewes Road Brighton to install it for me. Julian there installed it quickly and efficiently, without any fuss at all, having phoned me 48 hours prior to get the vehicle details and check out what was required. He was fully prepared and ready to go at the booked time, and the install only took 45 mins. I was very pleased, thanks again Julian.

josh at your brighton 0555 store was great and help me get everything we needed adjusting to my grandsons new bike that i purchased last year, but having fallen off my grandson has lost his nerve, so with "Josh's" help that the 0555 Brighton store adjusted the brakes so my grandson can reach them and fitting the kick stand and we also purchased the tracker. why can't your staff fit them?

Pleased and surprised by the level of service for my free bike health check. I'm always a bit dubious by leaving my bike in the hands of large chain stores as I tend to think they don't have the same knowledge as small independents but my bike was seen to immediately and 45 minutes later they had assessed the faults,given me a price and at no stage did I feel obligated to have the work carried out by them. Fantastic Service, offering a full health check for free to make sure I'm safe on the road without charge. There were a few issues with the bike that needed repairing and adjusting, but these were rectified in less than half an hour and only cost a tenner. I was served by Adam who was fantastic - he fixed and adjusted the bike expertly as well as sharing his knowledge and explaining to me what to expect and what all the work was for. It was made clear that it was all optional, so I didn't feel pressured to pay for any work I wasn't happy with. Really delighted with the service, would recommend this Halfords, and Adam in particular, to anyone with concerns about theit bicycle. Thank you so much!

Every time I go to the bike store within Halfords, I am met with exceptional customer service, good product knowledge and above and beyond care. The team of staff all dealt with my enquiry, and managed to fix my bike by courtesy (it was a minor fault they were able to quite easily resolve, but one that I feel if I went to a different bike store, I would have been met with a delay in having to reserve an appointment, and an unnecessary cost). They were able to assist as it was a quieter day, but I still had the confidence anyway, that someone in the bike dept would have had a look at the fault, and try their best to resolve that as soon as they could. I am even more sure I will return again and again (and tell friends about). Please commend the bike team for doing a fantastic job together - the store managers should be proud.

I took the opportunity while in store to look at children's bike helmets but unfortunately a lot of the range was either sold out or limited with sizes. Located next to Aldi, Hobbycraft and B&Q if you need to double up with other kinds of shopping.

He also sorted out a refund very quickly for a jacket i bought and also recommended me some cleaning products which i wanted and then purchased. All in all an easy and swift experience.

The bad news is that the information on the Halfords website is incorrect for this car, resulting in me ordering the wrong item. The good news is that a Halfords technician going beyond the call of duty tracked down the correct item that they happened to have in stock, and fitted that instead with no quibble. Full marks for him, but please Halfords get the website information correct.

Top shop for everything to do with cars, car accessories, bikes, camping and general leisure equipment. You can view products online and either have them delivered or collect them from one of your local stores. The store can be a bit pricey sometimes and you can find the same branded products online elsewhere however, all stores have easy access with good parking and availability of products so you have access to things quickly which is very handy sometimes, even if they are a bit more expensive. Customer service varies between 4 and 5 stars.

I had recently bought a Carrera E scooter and had a few enquiries. Staff in Brighton Branch were more than happy to answer any questions and would help with any problems. The following week I returned for them fix the front wheel as it made a whining noise. Within 15 minutes they had fixed it and the staff were more than polite. Went in to get my bike serviced a few weeks ago and the technician couldn't have been more helpful. He helped me get my bike out of the car, gave the bike a service, adjusted the gears, changed the two inner tyres on my request, then additionally looked over the second hand scooter my son had been given to check it was safe. He gave me great advice about looking after my bike through winter, showed me how to remove the front tyre and a guide on rucksacks covers. He then helped me take the scooter and bike back to load into the car. All socially distanced. Thanks.

I purchased a new Apollo Evade 17 bicycle from the store. Unfortunately, I discovered that there was a manufacturer defect with the front cogwheels. Upon returning to the store, the member of staff was able to confirm that the bike had the fault and offered to replace the unit. Used for bike servicIng which was ok overall. Waited approximately half hour for two bikes to be assessed then left bikes 48 hours for work to be completed. Cost estimate was accurate and covered by government bike scheme. Only negative was no phone call to say bikes were ready so had to chase up. Difficult to get an answer so just turned up in store. Bikes needed a few adjustments before I was able to ride home eg. Seat too high, handlebars needed straightening, brake cable needed clipping back onto frame. Overall however I would use again for convenience.

I went to this store to buy a side light bulb. Nice large store and they can do small jobs whilst you wait. When I realised the charge for fitting a bulb was only around £5.00 (plus the cost of the bulb), decided to have it done there and then. A very nice helpful guy called Julian found the correct bulb for me and then went straight outside to fit it. It didn't look easy so I am pleased that I got him to do it. Definitely worth the money and such a helpful guy. Thanks for doing it so quickly - will definitely be returning when the next one goes!!! Best £5.00 I have spent in a long time!!

Very helpful staff. They will tell you about pros and cons of each cycle and parts. But, they don't sell any cycle on display. I think that is not a good idea. They also take too much time to deliver. Their mentanence changes are a bit higher. Overall I liked it. But, there are many scopes to improve their services.

Used this store for various bits over the last few years, but last week I was riding up Lewes road and my bike decided to drop all its air pressure (tubeless sealant) - being next to Halfords I thought I’d see if they had the pump outside, however due to the current covid situation it was removed. Max saw me and approached without hesitation asking if he could help, I explained and he went and got a pump and pumped my tyres, all at a safe distance, without wanting for anything. Given the current situation it would have been easy for him to shrug it off on covid, but he wanted to help me out. Top guy, a real credit to Halfords Brighton
