Easy to find what I wanted but a ten-minute, one-in-front wait at checkout due to a complicated discussion in with the customer in front. No one arrived to staff the spare adjoining till. Nice service once I reached the counter and a good price for what I bought.

Took the tank up Hal's Cribs for a battery fitting and a health check. Staff at the trade counter were excellent; friendly and funny, service excellent (got me signed up to the Motoring Club there and then), and the price was very reasonable as well, considering there was a fitting fee. Once outside at the fitting station, Josh was an absolute hero. Really nice lad, a credit to the Hal's brand. Knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and chatty. And he managed to get the sodding battery box off (I had failed miserably, repeatedly, hence why I came up for the fitting!!). Top, top lad, really happy with everything today. The tank feels like brand new!

Had a ‘click and collect’ order from here. Online ordering was easy but unfortunately the Cribbs store didn’t receive it as their IT system was down(and had been for 2 days). Popped in to see why I’d not got a Ready for Collection notification after a couple of hours to find out they had this IT issue. Absolute credit to the team who were dealing with the customers - nothing but absolute first class professionalism and helpfulness despite the difficulties they were facing. They picked my items there and then and fitted the windscreen wipers without fuss. Well done all.

My Boardman E bike’s battery became stuck in the frame and I visited Halfords Cribbs Causeway for a repair. Dan, supported by Lorna, suggested and installed a modification to overcome a design fault in the bike. They met my needs with courtesy and professionalism. My only area of disappointment was that it took more than one visit to achieve the desired result but having regards to the complexity of the battery latching system perhaps my expectations were too high? My thanks to Dan for his service.

Excellent service! Went to buy a pair set of Bosch front wiper blades for my Freelander 2 after someone had decided to help themselves to one of mine overnight. On leaving the store to fit them, opened the box to find only 1 blade and it look used. Returned to the store and young man on the till was very apologetic and went to get me a replacement set. Couldn’t have done more, very satisfied.

Customer service was excellent during my visit this morning. I was served by Brice who was very helpful, understanding and efficient in his dealing with my request. He forewarned me of a ten minute wait whilst he retrieved the goods from the stock room. Good as his word, ten minutes later, he wheeled out the goods and helpfully transported them out to my car, and assisted in loading the bulky and heavy boxes. It was encouraging to see an employee happy and enjoying his interaction with the customer.

Went to halfords for a new speaker system, and spoke to Nathan who gave me great advice of what I may need for my audi A5, he was very professional, polite and gave me great customer service. He booked my car in for fitting and even came in on his week off to fit my new system, which I only found out when I picked my car up. The staff were initially not helpful by giving me the wrong information for collecting my order but the till staff were as helpful as they could be but one of my orders was missing and there was no likelihood of getting a replacement so I was given my money back. Excellent service from STEVE Needed new batteries fitted for the key fobs to lock & unlock my car. Steve fitted one & then went out to the car park to check that it worked before fitting the battery in the second, spare, fob. He was polite, prompt & efficient. All done for £10. I shall return here the next time I need something for my car

Limited staff, large car park. They provide a fitting service for car parts like bulbs and wiper blades. My experience......Half of the bicycle chains were out of stock, nobody on the shop floor to ask advice so I had to guess I bought the correct items. All turned out ok.

Popped into the Cribbs branch without an appointment to have my tyres checked before an MOT. Previously went to a local tyre place which gave me mixed information, I wanted to check for sure with Halfords. BRICE gave amazing customer service, offered the free check (which covers lights, brakes, oil, screenwash, battery and tyres!) and was very informative (especially as I know next to nothing). Within 15 minutes I was completely reassured what I needed, I had an email outlining what needed sorting, and the manager (sorry not sure on the same) sent me a discount code for having it checked. Couldn't fault the process and ended up booking my MOT and tyre replacement there & then. I will only go to this branch for car related things now! 10/10 recommend.

I ordered a new mountain bike for my son, research was done online as was the purchase. Communication from Halfords was good, letting me know what stage in the process the order/bike build was at and reminding me about my collection slot. The store was quite busy when I arrived to collect but the staff team were friendly and professional. The bike and paperwork were brought out and explained to me. The Carrera bike was far better build quality than I expected at that price point. Overall a great experience, I know there is a fair bit of bike snobbery about. I have to budget and was genuinely surprised at the level of service and product quality. 10/10 Halfords.

I needed to exchange a previous bike we had bought after having a few issues with it. I explained the issues to a guy named Ben and he was beyong helpful in dealing with the exchange, Fast and efficient, super friendly and totally put me at ease. Believe me this guy Ben deserves a medal for customer service, he made the whole experience less stressful for me, listened to my worries and reasons for the bike being so vital for my son and dealt with things quickly. The replacement bike was available to collect 2 days after he placed the order!. I am beyond grateful to Ben for dealing with this whole thing so quickly and efficiently. The bike is now in use and working brilliantly. Will recommend Halfords 100% and it is all because of Ben and his excellent customer service.

Nice shop and well stocked. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the 'we fit it' team, one imparticular looked an absolute mess. His clothes were in desperate need of a dam good wash as was he. His high viz vest had absolute no visible advantage due to being covered in dirt, and he was getting into customers vehicles.

Also, you can watch what they do and ask questions as they come out to your car parked in the car park and bring all their kit with them. I would like to thank Halfords employee Ethan, Cribbs Causeway store, for helping me out late on Saturday March 26th. After an extremely stressful day I had to come off the motorway because my oil light came on in my Honda Jazz, this hasn’t happened before. After using Halfords in store tablet to select the oil, he kindly checked I had selected the correct oil then offered the additional Halfords 10 point engine check including tyres also. I genuinely wasn’t expecting the support demonstrated by Ethan or any of the staff, they were so kind.The store was about to close but that didn’t seem to matter.Extremely professional behavior and so worth acknowledging hopefully within the Halfords staff appraisal pathway. I used to Manage a large and diverse group of staff within emergency Healthcare so know how valuable a demonstration of corporate professionalism combined with additional kindness is. I had a quality issue with a bike I bought for my son. Over the course of two visits I was helped out by Ollie and he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and honest, he eventually reached the conclusion after assistance from the mechanics team there that the bike could not be repaired properly. He was very helpful in finding an alternative and sourcing it in a relatively short timeframe. His manager, Adam, also got involved and unprompted offered a small discount as a gesture against the replacement bike's purchase price. Top class customer service throughout - it's easy when things go right; real customer service shines through when things go wrong and Ollie especially delivered throughout.

I am a break down recovery Driver in was in need of a 17mm socket to help a customer who had a tyre blow out get home to Newport and I had to rush to halfords to get the correct size socket and had great service from one of the halfords members of staff who guided me to best option I ended up get a tyre brace with 4 different sizes which saved my customers day all thank to the halfords sale assistant. They've got the social distancing bit right, making sure there aren't too many people in store. However, they could do with creating two queues, one for anything to do with cycles & one for everything else. As the cycle bit was the busiest it may also help to ask customers not to bring their kids unless they are specifically buying them a bike - having large families all in at once means waiting time for other people is longer. Having said that, staff really helpful, polite & doing their best to keep the queue informed of progress.

I'd give 5☆ to Steve for servicing and repairing my bike, but the admin side needs work. I had to explain on 3 occasions what I required, including an extra visit to the store. Communication between staff members, even via the computer, wasn't there. Despite the 5 week waiting time, one of the items required still wasn't in stock, because it hadn't been ordered. Steve, though, rang me during the work to clarify things and explain what alternative products were available. Thanks.

I was delighted that despite the prolonged pandemic restrictions, l was able to book ademonstration and installation for mid-day on Tues 22nd June (by an extremely helpful member of staff who I think was called Joe.) I struggled to adjust straps; yet with great patience and politeness, he took time and care that l felt confident fitting the seat. What a delight to receive such a good service. I rang the store to see if they had one in stock, to be told it must have been a stock error. 10mins later I got a call back (using the redial to find my number) to say they had found the back, a customer had returned it as the size was wrong. I asked them to hold it for me and I would pay online there and then, taking my word alone James did this without bother. 1 hour later I got another call to say a PDI had been done and the bike was ready to collect. 15mins later I collected the bike, spoke with a very friendly, lovely and professional James, who took me and my fiancé through the bike set up, cycle care etc. Then loaded it into the car for us and showed us how to get the front wheel off. Excellent service and finally I got the new bike i wanted 😀

I have read some of the other reviews and cannot quite agree with all of them. We went there to look for a bike and the guy was helpful an explained things to us nicely. I found it strange that I could not necessarily take the bike with me straight away but as they typically assemble it I guess it depends on how much time they have to do this. When queried if I could take it and assemble it myself they were fine with that and that would have been possible. All in all I would say the experience was ok, nothing spectacular but ok. The shop could though do with a few more people and perhaps some better customer service overall.

I bought a BLACKVUE DR750S Dash Cam from Halfords and had it hardwired into my car by a Halfords mechanic called Alistair. He was super friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. He even fitted 2 new bulbs free of charge (I had to pay for the bulbs but fitting was free). The BLACKVUE 750S dash cam cost £249.00 & I was charged only £30 to have it fitted. Alistair did a fantastic job and definitely deserves a pay rise! I scanned the Internet but I couldn't find this particular daah cam at a cheaper price ANYWHERE, including eBay & Amazon etc. Altogether this was a great deal and an easy fit. ASK FOR ALISTAIR, HE'S THE BEST MECHANIC AT HALFORDS!

Quite good, came here to find something to get rid of the scratches on my car bonnet caused on a trip to Wales from roadworks!? Although I seemed to get 'unclear' advice and information about which product exactly to purchase, when I approached the staff member at the till she showed me on the aile shelf and said T-Cut Colour Fast Scratch Remover (The tube, and also bottle version which was a bit different, I said why not bottle but she said T-Cut Scratch Remover is better?!), I asked her if she could take a look at my car parked in their Halford's car park for her 'experienced' opinion for a clearer and more sure diagnosis of the problem, but she said she'd get someone to have a look (Guess she was assigned to work on the till at that moment?), but the staff member that came out to have a look at my scratches on my car bonnet, he said T-Cut, I said OK but when I looked again on ther shelf there were still two types and which one to decide, so I approached him again inthe shop he said either will do?! Wasn't so clear which T Cut to get.... whether T-Cut Colour Fast bottle or T-Cut Colour Fast Scratch Remover tube versuion?! I asked the staff member at the till again (Who looked rather fed up to be asked a second time?!) she thought the tube would be better! Basically I didn't want to spend too much money in buying both as the tube was £7.50 and the bottle was £9! Both quite expensive really....
