Such helpful and friendly staff! They all seem very friendly in particular (Steve) fixed my brakes and gears quickly and easily all the while having a chat with me. Plus sent me home with some tips on how to fix the problems if they reoccur. Couldn't recommend enough.

This review is especially for Camille, who not just recommended me everything I need, she went above and beyond to even paint the rack stand for me. Had it not been for Camille, I probably would not have made the purchase,as I had no clue what all I would require. Throughout the entire process,Camille always had a beautiful smile on her face and actually ended up working way beyond her shift time on two days,just to close this successfully.This kind of customer service is quite rare in the UK, and such staff should be paid much better and taken care-of. Camille certainly deserves a raise/promotion.

I went to the store today to purchase some coolant. I spoke with Matt, who went above and beyond to help me. I have a problem with my coolant, and he was troubleshooting what my issue could be. Suggested a product that might resolve my issue (fingers crossed), and Matt completed a check of my car (filled my coolant, checked tyre pressure pumped them up checked oil and lots more!). He was super polite and helpful from start to finish, and I couldn't have asked for better service. Matt made my day, and I will be returning because of his service. I feel like he went above and beyond for me today 😁

I've ordered 2 e-bikes from Halfords and picked up from the store. The staff is nice and shows me hints to operate the e-bike. Besides, he have numerous knowledge about bike maintenance and he is willing to share these info with me. It's great that the purchase is not only for the bikes, but also knowledge of bike maintenance. If you are new to e-bike, it's highly recommend to pick up your new bike at the store and ask as many questions as you can. I'm sure the staff will answer those questions.

Been to Halfords multiple times in the last few months as I’m making a few upgrades to my car and have had an unbelievable amount of help from the team. I got some new speakers fitted which they helped me figure out which were the best for me. I also decided to fit a new radio myself and I was guided through the whole process and given lots of time by the staff that they took to explain how things work. They knew exactly what I needed to get the job done and supplied it for me with no hesitation. Great store and great service would recommend to anyone.

I was looking for a decent quality mountain bike with my teenage son for around £500. We went to Halfords and had the good fortune to be advised by Camille who listened carefully to our needs, and gave us great advice - Camille seemed really interested in us leaving the store with exactly what we wanted. We ended up buying the Sulcata 3.2. The only reason it's not 5* is because that model was not on display and we had to take a bit of a punt on sizing.

After a long encounter it was proven that the issue lied with them. The roof bars was then fitted not long after. Easy installation, just let down by the error.

Always go to Halfords for my engine oil, they have a wide choice of oils and I'm always able to get a good priced oil for my mini. Some places charge way over the top for the oil I need. Staff are always helpfull and happy to answer any query you may have.

Kye was able to resolve my unpaired DAB radio. I had been stuck on one station for months and could not get the unit and antenna to pair, although both parts appeared to work! With Kye’s help and persistence in trying various combinations of taking the power out and trying to reset to factory settings, he managed to get them to pair again! Took my car here to get a new stereo fitted. All seemed fine but then I had problems with the alarm going off randomly. Garage diagnosed as a problem with the stereo, so took it back to Halfords. Great after-sales service. They had no issue with looking into it, and they eventually discovered the steering controls were taking a slight draw from the battery even with the ignition off. James did a complete re-fit of the stereo and replaced that part. Been fine since. Only thing they're not so good at is answering the phone when trying to book in.

Went down to Halfords today to buy a headlight and a brake light.....walked in, spoke to Nathan on the tills and he asked " What car "...I said " Ford Focus 2002" and he went over to the aisles grabbed the lights, rung them up and said " Come on then " HUH??? straight outside, biff-bang-bong...job done!! literally five minutes for all three ( both brake lights needed done in the end ) absolutely awesome!! do NOT let the bad reviews of other Halfords stores in Bedminster and around Bristol tarnish the reputation of these guys, and don't let them influence your judgement to go elsewhere. Halfords in Ashton Gate....( thanks to Nathan, Ben and the rest of the guys and girls )....is absolutely first rate! NO fuss, no drama, no waiting, just top drawer, professional, friendly service with a personal touch. Going back tomorrow for my wiper blades fitted....considering its all part of the buying service it would be stupid not too. FIVE STARS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Politely attentive though the fellows in the cycling dept were, when I enquired about an item (a saddle securing bolt) which was actually on their website, the one I spoke to said Halfords had no such thing and followed up with some old local bike shop guff (that I've heard before) about needing to buy a complete seatpost because different brands have different dimensions. That may be true for a small number of brands, but there's no question there will be a broader compatibility for a single size allen key bolt of 4.5cm.
