I purchased a used Land Rover from this dealership in 2016 and I dealt with their salesman called Harry. He was very professional and was very quick to return phone calls and offer his assistance, where needed. I would not hesitate to use this dealership again. The Guy Salmon service does seem to be better quality than some other Land Rover dealers I have used in the past - and more professional. I noticed some minor scuffs/scratches on the used car I was purchasing and these were all rectified before I picked it up 3 days later. Other dealers are just "what do you expect it's second hand" but not Guy Salmon their used cars almost are back to "new" standard. A+++ service from this dealer.

Picked up my Vogue earlier today, the process from start to finish was absolutely seamless, this was achieved by Jessica who constantly kept me abreast of suitable vehicles, and persisted until she found the right vehicle for us. She even picked us up from Birmingham International and took us to the show room. Jessica guided us through the paper work and spent 2 hours with us going through the car. Would highly recommend getting in touch with Jessica if anyone is interested in purchasing a Land Rover. Also special mention for Ice Cool Tom Bramley - who is the Finance Guy, never flustered always calm, was excellent in his dealings with us. Keep it up guys see you guys in 2 years.....

My Discovery decided to simultaneously turn off a number of systems and start draining the battery. I took it to Guy Salmon with no notice while it still ran and Laurelle Whitehouse in the Service team completely saved my day. She worked really hard to find a technician (who I met but sadly can’t remember the name of) on a hugely busy day for the dealership, and got the underlying software issue resolved on the day. Great customer service from the team, and there was wifi and coffee available so that I could keep working without disrupting my day too much. Recently purchased a Land Rover Discovery Sport Landmark Edition and the experience was second to none. The retailer itself is really clean, unique and presented in a professional manner at all times. I was always greeted with a smile by the staff and drinks offered whilst I waited for my sales representative Adam Brightmore. Adam was polite, professional and informative about all processes involved alongside all the products currently available. Adam was flexible in terms of the hand over and accommodated to my short of notice need due to the sale of my other vehicle, which he also provided guidance on alongside the financial aspects behind this transaction. On the hand over itself the small details he gave which were what made the difference and is the reason to why I chose to purchase into the brand. He is a great representation of a great brand. Liam Hayward, Satpal Birdee and Simon Clark are all great additions to the team and in there own rights added to this 5 star experience.

I have recently changed my car from a Jaguar to a Land Rover after having a change of mind on my needs from the car that I drive. Every time I have visited this dealership I have had a warm welcome from all staff. My salesman Steve Early is totally down-to-earth and a very affable man. He certainly understood what I was looking for right from the off and was able to identify the exact car for me. Yes, I spent more than originally intended, but don't I always. When my car was brought down from another dealership to view, it was as good as expected and Guy Salmon were able to get it ready for my collection two days later, when first thing in the morning Steve collected me from my home address making things easier for us on the day. Over the next week I did identify a few minor issues that needed attention (it was a used car) but the dealership were completely supportive and just told me to keep adding anything I wasn't happy with to the list of things to do. When my car went in to get these matters sorted the dealership did have to keep it for an extra day, but they rectified everything asked for to my satisfaction. I know of another local person who has also had a superb experience with Guy Salmon Land Rover, so that is also reassuring that I haven't just been lucky. If you are in the market for a Land Rover, I would highly recommend that you consider this outlet, even if you have to travel.

After the cold reception I got from another dealer I visited guy salmon parts department the same morning. I was welcomed by a very nice lady with a proper " good morning sir how can I help " and a smile instead of a grimace because of my work clothes. I was shown the parts department and was asked to take a seat and was dealt with by a chap who not only knew how to hit keys on a key pad but had some knowledge on the cars they sell. Always a fast and friendly service from the parts department. Having a Land Rover you sometimes need more parts than usual, they can usually get a part not in stock the next day. The staff are always great and nothing is too much trouble. The place is spotless and even if you’re buying some transmission oil, you’re treated as if you’re buying a £70k car, every time.

Worth buying just for the lemon sherbets. Easiest car buying process ever from start to finish. I was seen by Adam Brightmore, the most helpful skinny legend ever. Popped in to test drive an evoque and two weeks later popped out with a cheeky brand new car. The pink bow on collection was also very me, so Adam really adds a personal touch. Only issue, who puts onion chutney in a hamper?? I’m not posh! I would definitely recommend LR Coventry over other sites in the area and will definitely be returning next time I have £50k to spend.

I first visited Guy Soloman, Coventry 6 years ago and left feeling very disappointed by the lack of professionalism and attention I received. In the end, I bought my car from a competitor. In Feb 2019, I visited Guy Soloman again (admittedly just speculatively) and the experience could not have been any different. This time I bought a car! I felt listened to, valued and it is all down to Rik Spencer who was absolutely fantastic from pre-sales, to sales to now after care. Rik is very attentive, pragmatic, and professional in his approach whilst sharing his knowledge and experience. Thoroughly recommend him… infact I would advise you to wait to see Rik 😊 Well done Rik, for single handedly changing my perception and experience of Guy Soloman. I will come again!

I'm sure the first thing they did was 'update their status' on FB to state how bad it was. Pathetic. I have visited many times to this dealership and they are overwhelmed with morons like the negative reviewers on here. If they didn't have to deal with idiots like you, then they would have more time for people who want to buy a car. Reviews stating long waiting times for car arrivals? - yeah - its right. Get a grip, stop moaning, bite the bullet and wait, and buy a fantastic British made car.

I have recently had the great pleasure of being looked after here by Alice Hoskins, absolute A1 service from her, if I call and she is not available she calls back within minutes, ask a question she finds you an answer, send an email and I get an immediate response! I received a call the day before from Lynsey to confirm the booking and confirmed what will be done to my car on the day. At first I didn't find a parking place but a receptionist walked by and when I asked where should I park, she simply asked me to leave the car where it was and she will get it collected! In most most recent visit, Lynsey ensured that my wait appointment was done as quickly as possible and that I was comfy with drinks and snacks. Brilliant service from staff every time you go in. Steve was excellent with helping with the purchase of my discovery sport, sorted out my private registration plate for when I collected the car after a weeks holiday. Monday i telephoned as my exhaust low fluid message was coming up as well the service message. I sat and waited whilst Lynsey sorted everything out. She was very attentive showed me on line that I was not due a service but there had been some problems with some of the oil, but she would get it sorted as well as topping up my EcoBlu. 2 hours later I was all done and on my way, with a clean and vaccuumed car. This was excellent service as I did not have an appointment, Lynsey also sorted out the work to be done on the warranty telephoned the company and all I needed to do was sign the document.

I took my husband's car to Guy Salmon Land Rover in Coventry. The car was in for a possible fault and the treatment of the staff and the facilities available while waiting were amazing and CLEAN. Staff were very friendly and approachable. I had a wonderful lady called Lynsey Swaby looking after me and she could not have done more! Lynsey came strait to me to get me booked in even though I was 1 hour early. She made sure I was kept on Coffee while I worked and waited for the car. Lynsey also made sure I had wifi and kept popping in to check on me....but not in an intrusive way which was very refreshing. I was not the only person to receive this treatment, all her clients that were sat near me were treated with the same care and consideration. Lynsey is a credit to the company and a pleasure to deal with. I hope we don't have a return visit, however if I do, I look forward to seeing Lynsey again.

I took my Range Rover to GS for annual service check up to attend to a whistling noise which was only noticeable on switching off engine. I must point out that my warranty had just run out. Turns out that the noise was a warning alarm connected to the electric tow hitch. I did a little research on line and together with the support and assistance of Lynne Hancox was able to persuade Land Rover to approve replacement!! ` As always' staff at the service department were courteous and supportive and I have no hesitation in awarding them and all The Sales Team an 11/10 rating!!!

Excellent service!!! I’ve just done my Discovery repair with them and it didn’t cost me anything. They spotted oil leaking at third year car service and told me to book in ASAP. This wasn’t the first time that they did work for us for free. In terms of minor damage caused by ourselves in the past, they always fixed it for free. I just cannot say how grateful we are, not always for money is really something it is difficult to find nowadays. This is a place you can trust and feel welcome, even my kids love it too.

The superhero service adviser Lee has to be the best person I have ever dealt with in my life ! After a horrible experience with Listers Solihull which consisted of 4 visits over 2 months, several hours of diagnostics, numerous call-backs not taking place and the rude snobby staff I decided to take my business to Guy Salmons Coventry. After booking my vehicle in I met Lee, I went through my previous experience and how upset I was with the horrible service I had received at Solihull. He reassured me he would take ownership of my cars problem and help me resolve it, my vehicle was in for about 6 days being repaired he kept in contact with me regular in and out of work hours via text message and phone calls. At points they was unsure of what the fault was, he was honest and open about this and through his efforts of actually taking ownership of my problem it was resolved. The difference with him and the 3 advisers I met with at Listers is that he actually cared and wanted to get my car fixed instead of just robbing me of my money.
