I've been shopping around to get my wheels stripped and coloured. The problem I had was allocating the time for my car to ba away to get it done. A colleague recommended The Wheel Specialist as he had just encountered the same predicament. Their workshop was just a 5 minute walk from my work so I was able to drop my car off first thing and they called me when it was ready. I had 4 wheels stripped and coloured and it took about 5 hours. Their communication and customer service was first class but the wheels came out looking brand new. Not bad for a 6 year old wheel.... Highly recommended 👌.

These guys are absolute magicians. I had a small bit of curb damage fixed a few months ago on my car, and just had all four wheels on my wife's car refinished, and the results are amazing. I have no idea how they do it, but these guys are the best! 24 hour turnaround was a bonus, plus they are near the tram or bus to make it easy to drop off and pick up.

First-time customer. Had a tired looking set of alloys that now look as good as new again. Social distancing set-up is easy to follow, drop off your car (or wheels) in the morning and you get a call later on the same day allowing you to come and collect (and pay of course). Will recommend to friends and family with no hesitation.

4 alloys repaired in 2 days - great quality, friendly and hassle free service! Previous experience with another company made me dread getting my alloys fixed. (They had taken 2 weeks to repair 2 alloys and asked me to remove the wheels myself to send them in!!!) The wheel specialist, on the other hand was great. Car was booked in within the week and fixed in 2 days. Friendly and hassle free and all 4 of my alloys look fabulous - Now I just need to keep them that way.

Recommended. Had a lot of problems with air leakage on my 2014 Ford Focus cause by alloy wheel damage. Booked car in for a total refurb on all wheels. Problem solved and they look great too.

Really friendly and helpful staff, a Qashqai is not the type of car you would expect to get a makeover however all I did was pick the colour for my rims and Craig's lads did the rest. Leaving the design totally to the crew I was not disappointed with the results, my car has a new look about it thanks to the above. Well worth a visit. Thanks all.

Overall, a good job from the team, especially considering the age and condition of the wheels I put in for refurbishment. However, a day after having the wheels fitted I checked my tyre pressures and found 2 which were correct (29psi) but the other 2 on the driver's side were 34psi front and 35 psi rear so knocking off a star for this and would recommend the management remind their team of the importance of getting this right for other customers.

Was booked in for an alloy repair but when I arrived owner was honest enough to say he couldn't resolve my issue as my alloys are diamond cut with a smoked coating. Has a good reputation although now seems pricier than competitors as I've since received lower quotes.

I have nothing but fab comments for the guys at 'The Wheel Specialist'. Quick, friendly and genuinely priced! I was being quoted (by other companies) £200+ because of a minuscule dent in my alloy wheel which was apparently unfixable. Managed to track down these guys through word of mouth and they repaired the "unfixable" dent in a mornings work! Saved me a lot of money that wasn't feasible 2 weeks before Christmas 2015.....thank you so much guys! 😄

These guys are amazing came in with bent car rim wheel the gave me a straight answer it could crack but if it does we can get a welder to help. It didn't crack when straightening out so problem solved. These guys are amazing 10/10

Had my wheel repaired here today, excellent service, friendly staff and were honest enough to point out that the wheel could be repaired even though I was told otherwise and quoted £1200 for 3 new ones. Hopefully I won't need to come back in future but these folks will be the first call if I do.
