Had an amazing experience recently when I was buying Thule roof bars and a bike rack. Rodney checked over my car, gave some great advice even although I didn’t ask for it and really took time to make sure I was happy with my decision. Can’t recommend enough.

Went to halfords at Cumbernauld this morning and the 2 guys couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Honestly went above and beyond. Trying to get roof bars for my car last minute and I needed 3 separate parts. Only had 2 in store so helped me order online but when it came up for collection next week, they phoned round other stores to see if they had them in stock today and got them put aside in my name so that I could collect today. Had a free bike checkup booked after my MTB was parked up for a good 6 years. Arrived early and was taken early. The technician knew what he was doing. I assumed since the bike was sitting for a long time that I'd need a lot for the bike. A few adjustments here, a few tweaks there and we were done. No upsell of parts or anything. Superb service.

My brother and I were cycling on the canal cycle path nearby, but he seriously snagged his chain. It locked itself round the chainring and neither of us could fix it. We called Halford's, and someone called Andy arranged for us to bring the bike in for an on-the-spot repair. Ross (the bike technician) was in-store and fixed the bike quickly for us. As a result our day out was shortened by an hour - as we had to wheel the bike to the store on foot - but not totally spoiled. We made it to the Falkirk wheel Visitor centre and the chain behaved itself. Thanks very much to Halford's - and particularly Ross - for the quick emergency repair job. It was appreciated. We'd travelled 30 miles by car to the start of our towpath route, so without Halford's super service we'd have had a sunny Sunday completely wasted.

Staff in here are always helpful. Good selection of items. Click and collect is good. Good bike section upstairs. Good selection of usual stuff like wipers, bulbs and touch up paint. Quite a lot of parts (fuses cables etc), not just wipers. Its actually a really good wee store considering its size.

Guys in this store are exceptionally helpful. Bought the wrong windscreen wiper and one guy (sorry didn't catch his name) helped me get the right one. Booked my carrera Banshee mtb into the Cumbernauld store to get the gears serviced on Saturday the staff were professional and helpful. Andy (I think that's his name) the mechanic phoned me at 6pm to tell me the bile was ready. He was really helpful so I picked up the bike today (Sunday) I was met with smiles from all the staff and Andy came out with my bike and ran through what he had done. Plus I picked his brains on how to service a few thing myself. Then to top it off I found out it was covered by the bike scheme. Great professional and helpful staff.

Recently popped into Halfords to request a vehicle bulb to be supplied and fitted. No sooner had I arrived that I was politely asked to park under the canopy by the store assistant, explaining the cost of the item . Most efficiency fitted said bulb and offered me the Winter Vehicle check ,stating free of charge ,very thoroughly checked lights,tyres, oil,screenwash ,wipers. Gave me some great hints and tips to boot. Which have saved me money. Cameron went above and beyond. I am so very pleased with his excellent customer service....All this for £13.99 PRICELESS👏 I shall not hesitate to use Halfords again in the future

Excellent shop for car tools/spares. Prices very competitive and often cheapest for a given item. Stuff is of good quality and you know what you're getting vs the surprises that sometimes turn up from ebay. The staff are what sets this branch apart though. Always have time to help or if busy are apologetic and get to you when they can. Use this place so it's remains open. I'd be gutted if it went away.

I visited Halfords Cumbernauld for the first time today. My front headlight was out and needed replacing. The service I got from Andrew was excellent. He is a vibrant, helpful and resourceful man who couldn't do enough to help. It turned out that there was a fuse which wasn't working and Andrew sorted that out for me. I am so happy with the friendly, efficient service from Andrew. He is an asset to the business. I will happily refer others there and will certainly be back when I need help with a car! Just had my vehicle check done at Halfords - 10 point check for £15. Well worth doing if, like me, you don't do much vehicle checking yourself! Didn't take long either so would really recommend having it done.

Excellent service, Cameron adjusted the gears quickly to make the bike safe until it could be booked in for new parts to be fitted and he was understanding that I have some communication problems after having neurosurgery so was patient and explained things so it was easy to understand. On my last visit to Halfords to have wipers fitted service was excellent I then was asked if id like a winter check at a cost of £15, I immediately said yes, as I'm on my own it was The perfect chance to have a quick 20 minute check done at Halfords giving me peace of mind with the winter looming. Don't normally leave reviews but I have to for this. I stopped off to get a couple bulbs changed on my car. It took 2 of the men to work on them since my car was being very stubborn, they were at it for ages. Such lovely guys. One even chatted away to my 5 year old daughter about cars because he could tell she was getting bored and impatient and even gave her a wee toy car when we were leaving. I never got his name (had an English accent) but he completely made her day! Will definitely return. Thanks guys.

I had a great experience at the Cumbernauld store today. Kaz went above and beyond to help me find the right car seat for my vehicle which is notorious for being difficult to fit a seat too. Nothing was too much terrible and she clearly knew what she was talking about and anything she didn't know, she found out immediately. She is a credit to the store. Rather than charging me £35 to remove the old wiring and £35 to fit it in the new car I was advised to just leave the old wire where it was and buy a new kit for the new car and unplug the dash cam to move it over. Saved me £35!!

I was in bishopbriggs branch and stupidly thought I could just buy a bike and have it built within 24 hours for collection. The bike was for my 6 year old son and was needed within 48 hours. Guy said it would be over a week due to back log. I called Cumbernauld branch and they said they would try but couldn't guarantee by date required. So I went to Cumbernauld to order. Staff member named Cameron was very helpful and helped my son choose the right bike. He realised I needed the bike and order to build it there and then if I could wait. This was above and beyond and my son and me were delighted. He did a fantastic job and really didn't need to. Thanks Cameron.

Nothing is more frustrating than when prices are artificially inflated just so a special offer can be on to make it look like you are getting a deal, but in reality you are buying more items than you need. It is deceptive marketing and not good customer relations.
