I've been using Parkers for years but they have declined since their big reorganisation. The motor parts counter was staffed by older, more experienced staff who would often help and suggest solutions for car problems. All these staff have gone and replaced with young guys who seem more interested in their computer screens and chatting to one another than the customer stood in front of them. The shop is okay for auto stuff but hardly outstanding.

Nice people to work with...prices could be slightly lower but they have usually everything you need in stock and most of time worth paying more avoiding hassle travelling everywhere in the city to find what you need.

I bought a battery on Saturday for my 20 years old Felicia after my alternator fried the old battery. Having fitted it the car still would not start,. Not having a clue as to what the problem was I phoned them up at least twice and they very willingly gave me some helpful advice. Can't recommend them highly enough, in spite of the one or two unnecessarily harsh negative reviews on here.

Not a bad place although I picked up a packet of fuses and, having checked and re checked the price made my way to the till to be told that the price was pretty much double the one shown?? I was told that it "must have been on the wrong hook" something I struggle with as all packs are labeled and sorted into different price bands...

This is my local Parkers store and every time I have occasion to use it I find the staff will happily go that extra mile to help source whatever it is I need, in this case an odd sized brake union that I needed urgently. If they don't have the requisite item within the store then the default position is to check the stock level at the other Leicester stores. Being open until 3pm on a Sunday, unlike many other motor factors, is also an absolute life saver! Recommended!

I called Parkers as I needed some specific type of vehicle registration plates making, they advised which branch could make them, Syston, plates were made while I waited, good quality, and good price and great service.

Staff always helpful! Was looking for a copper crush washer for the sump plug on my yamaha raptor after a service. Euro car parts would not help as thier computers did not recognise the reg and basically said "dunno". Even yamaha themselves didn't have a clue!! Went here and they had all the washers they had to size up to my bolt. Found one for a Renault that fit perfectly! Charged me under 2 quid for 2. Peanuts! No more oil leak. Happy customer. 5 stars just for spending 5 minutes to help, not a "dunno" like euro!
