I went into Halfords on the Carlton Centre yesterday evening with my son and his bike wheel....! Although I did not buy anything the guy who served us, I did not get his name, spent a good 20 minutes with us and fixed the problem. I always get good service here and just want to say a big thank you, especially to the guy last night.

Placing the order was quick and easy. However the post order and collection system needs review. I received an email telling me my order would be available for collection in store ‘from’ a particular time and date and that I would receive a text to tell me it was ready for collection. The text never arrived. When I checked ‘track order’ the system showed my order was ‘in progress’, so the following day I chased with customer service. I was told my order was ready for collection in store. When I tried to explain that the key word in the email was ‘from’, which could have been anytime and that I should still receive a text, this seemed to fall on deaf ears. When I was explaining this in store, it turned out the assistant was not listening to me because he was taking a phone call in his earpiece without me knowing. Rude. Rant over!

Rear light bulb gone. I walked in and asked if I needed to make an appointment for someone to replace. Was pleased that I didn't. Bulb replaced in about 10 minutes. Brilliant service and a reasonable charge.

Just had excellent service from Dave. The coolant light came on in my car - he helped us select the right coolant, filled the car and then fixed the mechanism that opens and locks the bonnet. Thank you so much!

Love Halfords on Wragby road in Lincoln they always have everything you need. The staff are great always a friendly welcome and very knowledgeable but if they dont know something they will go to any lenght to find the answer for you. 11 out of 10 for the staff. Thankyou for being so helpful.

Not normally a shopper of halfords but had everything in one place I'm my time of need, so grabbed my bits and was scouling away having to spend money on bits I didn't want, but needs must, got to the till was greeted very politely and the man even got me signed up for a free membership which I hadn't activated through app, a tenner off happy days.

Although the weather was to say the least inclement, Max insisted on upgrading my headlight bulbs having to work outside to do so even after I told him I would be quite prepared to return on a better day. I could not be more impressed with his quality of service.

Superb service at Halfords Outer Circle Rd Lincoln. Had new headlight upgrade bulbs fitted to Peugeot 207 cc (difficult fit no space). Store assistants Andy and Dean were fantastic and did it with speed and professionalism. 100% recommend this store to anyone.

Was very impressed to drive up to the store and enquire about a replacement headlamp bulb to be replaced. Within 5 minutes it had been done, even though it was dark outside. Very efficient and friendly service.

Sat am found me at Halfords needing wiperblades. This branch has very friendly assistants who are more than happy to sort what you need and help you find it. If you want them fitting (I didn't) they also provide this service as well, The shop is quite spacious and early on not crowded at all so it felt safe in terms of Covid. Loads of gear here for your car/bike and plenty of advice on hand as well

The service was done in a timely manner but I didn't see the chaps name badge. All staff in store on Sunday were friendly and chatty. I needed a daytime running light bulb replacing on my Kia Picanto. The manual shows how to change all bulbs except this, and says dealer has to do it. I called at Halfords on Wragby Road Lincoln, just as it opened. I asked the assistant Matt, if they could do it. He said he would try. He managed, did it and asked if I wanted the other one done too, as it might go.I had the other one done at same time. All done in 15 mins.at a cost of £18.46 p. Huge saving on main dealer price which would have had half hour labour at least. Would definitely recommend this branch for future. They are alway helpful when you go in.

My favourite and go-to store for my car things. I appreciate the staff and their helpfulness. Knowledgeable and take extra time to explain things and check extra things when they have time. The staff have gotten really young recently though I miss the older regular faces I used to have a chat with.

I visited the store today looking for advice on connectors for an aftermarket Head Unit I purchased for my Audi A3 (not from Halfords). A young man (looked about 18) gave me excellent advice and help. He was incredibly polite and very knowledgeable. I was extremely impressed. I hope Halfords will acknowledge what a good member of staff he is. A real credit to the business. I didn't catch his name unfortunately but whoever you are thank you very much.

Purchased a tool online. Straight away I received order confirmation. I then got an email 15 minutes afterwards, stating my order was ready for collection. Had a dashcam fitted to my wife's Audi including front and rear camera's and hardwire kit. The staff took care while fitting the dashcam and gave me advice on fitting suppressors as Audi's DAB are sensitive to interference. Very happy with my visit.

Under the current circumstances, the store are abiding by social distancing in that only one person can enter an enclosed area after possibly queueing outside where the pavement is 2m marked. Staff are quick, efficient and helpful and still offering the fit-while-you-wait service for some items! Store is collection only at this time as well!
