Our battery light came on, on your T5 on a Sunday at 3pm, by 3:45 it was booked in dropped off and then got a phone call at 8:15 on Monday to say the alternator needed replacing. By Tuesday lunch time it was ready to be collected. Amazing service and kept informed what was happening through out.

Omg you are fantastic. Halfords tritton road Lincoln my air conditioning was not working and the car was new to me ,not only did they recommend I join the halfors club which meant I got £5 off my bill towards my air conditioning refill. I also got a health check on my car guys and ladies were really really friendly helpful and kind the car was new to me and I was really thick on where everything was but they took their time help me show to me and were absolutely brilliant honestly cannot give more prayers if I tried .I really really appreciate it everything they did and they were so kind in the steering heat well done Halfords you really are impressive. I would just like to say how impressed i was at the service i recieved on my audi a3 radio fit today....the tech went well out of his way to fit a pioneer system which had been bodge jobbed in my car previously, wired into circuits it shouldnt....He did an absolute spot on job and hes worth his weight in gold....very knowledgeable and charged me a more than reasonable price...Id have quite happily paid more for the service i recieved...

When I came earlier this week to pick up my order the staff were very welcoming and respectful when I couldn't get my words out from being out on my motorbike in the cold. The staff I spoke to was well mannered and spoke clearly even with a mask on which can be difficult especially in these times. He then fetched my order very quickly and I was soon on my way home.

I've been in several times with my partner and kids. Shaun was more than helpful, polite, professional, kind and courteous. Genuinely wouldn't recommend anywhere else. In addition after placing my order I called and changed my bike TWICE! At my choice, Paul the guy I dealt with was AMAZING! I know I can be a nightmare customer. Meanwhile Charlie was expediting my refund and proceeded with payment and repacking my replacement. I have visited tritton road store three times in the last 7-8 days, the three guys who I had assistance me in purchasing two cycles and the accessories I needed for both bikes. First was Ben who help me choose the bike for me. Nick who set up the build and purchase, and finally Shaun who helped me choose the right accessories and even arrange there fitment of them to my adult bike and organized the extra items for the child's bike, both to be picked up later. The who bike team are friendly and professional manner in helping customers in their purchases.

Due to unforeseen circumstances at work I had come to the store to inform them that I would be unable to attend my bike collection appointment due the next day. Rather than postpone my appointment, staff member Charlie checked to see if my bike would be ready to collect there and then. To my delight the bicycle was ready, although I would have been more than happy to delay. Charlie took the time to help with selecting suitable lights and a lock for the bike and James helped by attaching said accessories and demonstrated the most effective way to set the lock. I really appreciate the time that Charlie and James took and consider what they did to be above and beyond.

I have shopped at this branch, quite frequently, since 2013. I’ve popped in twice in the last two days and both times found the staff more than ready to help. Taking me to the item or simply nipping and fetching it for me. This helps as I often have my bike with me. I didn’t want to leave my fully loaded Carrera outside, today, but that wasn’t a problem as I could simply wheel it into the store with me! I enjoy cycling and I’ve done about 1500km (shopping trips) since 2013 and this store has helped with and facilitated all of it. The store is well placed with some excellent and really pleasant cycle paths passing close by.

My car needed a new battery and another garage had quoted me a huge price and told me I needed (what would have been the wrong battery). Thank goodness I went to Halfords and Jase saw that they had made a huge mistake and what they quoted for was the wrong battery. Jase fitted me a new one at half the price and thank goodness he had the experience of many years to know that it would have been a terrible mistake to have fitted the wrong battery. Car went in for an oil and new oil filter change. Rang me to say it was ready for collection to charge me £18.76 for a new brake bulb, tried to tell me that i needed to bring my vehicle back for a Tyre new valve and sensor on one of my wheels as it was not holding air. Collected car drove to the gate to exit and car to tell me that my brake bulb has blown! what a waste of £18.76! My Tyre sensor is not faulty and is holding air as it has been to a ford dealer and no fault found

Fantastic service. Took car in for MOT and interim service. Was advised that rear brakes were binding - had the drums and shoes cleaned and serviced but still not right so thought it may have been brake cables. Took back in a few days later and after a few hours received a call to say ready to collect. No charge as the cable wasn’t needed, but handbrake arms had seized and had now been cleaned and repaired. Car is running like new, thank you so much. Staff friendly and polite, happy to explain what work had taken place and what was needed and why. Have previously taken my car here for tyre changes and other routine work and would happily continue to do so. Excellent service all round.

A great experience. Having purchased separate components for my new car stereo, Chris and Liam informed me that for less money, I could’ve had the stereo bought, accessories included and fitted as a bundle price. They refunded me the different and in addition, arranged for a fitting at the Lincoln store sooner than the booked appointment I had in Scunthorpe, meaning I didn’t have to travel over to Scunthorpe. The fitting was excellently done by Jason, who spent time with me afterwards explaining how the stereo worked. Can’t thank all three of these guys enough. Really pleased with my new purchase. I ordered a battery online to be fitted at the store, on fitting the first battery was too small, I paid for the larger correct one when fitted the terminals were the wrong way round. Daniel the young man who was doing the fitting the searched the internet for a correct one, which he found at Europarts and told me if I could collect it he would get approval from his manager to fit it for me this I did and returned the next day to have it fitted. This was excellent customer service from Daniel, his colleague who helped on Friday evening 21May and his manager on 22May all who provided excellent customer service.

While riding my bike home from work the chain decided to let go on me! I wasn't far from the Halfords on Tritton road so decided I'd take a punt on them being able to fix it. I went in and asked if they did emergency repairs and a guy named Shaun said to bring the bike in for a look. He quickly assessed the situation and found the split link had failed and as half was missing checked if they had any in stock. Unfortunately they didn't but they had a full chain to suit. Shaun promptly fitted me the new chain in next to no time and got me back on the road. I still got my previous chain and Shaun informed me I should be able to get a split link and use it' as a spare. So after saving me a long trudge home, sorting my bike in super quick time and of course being friendly and courteous I definitely give Halfords a 5 star rating. Thanks to Shaun! He did you proud today and saved me a long dull walk home and of course I got the bike up and running for the next day! Thanks!

I found the product easily, was helped by an excellent staff member, there was no quibbling about price matching the online price (which apparently changes much faster than the in-store ones), and easily found a couple of other bits I needed but that I'd thought I would have to order online. Car showed the dreaded orange triangle asking to check engine oil level. Once checked the dip stick showed alarmingly low level. Went online, checked on Halfords website with my reg no. the correct oil I would need, booked online for a 1-hour click n collect with a £5 oil too-up service. Received a text within 15 mins that my order was ready to collect. Drove to local Triton Road Halfords where Thomas topped up my engine oil while chatting about his future plans to buy a Morris Minor! Cannot fault the staff, however the visit for an aircon service and re gas, proved to be a costly one as the aircon condenser unit blew up, whilst being regassed. It is an expensive part to replace and although I was offered a discount, it far outweighs the cost of a simple service.

I wanted a phone holder. I looked no further than Halfords with their “phone holder.” I ordered it without much trouble at all (no dropping my phone in a vat of boiling jam, like some reviewers I could mention, or suddenly being struck with BeriBeri disease! Then I drove to the store and remembering to park my car in a properly designated car parking area, engaging my hand-brake and locking my car, (from the outside this time!) I then went into the store and stood in a queue behind a woman who put me in the mind of the brunette from “The Liver Birds.” (She turned around and it wasn’t her.) A man came up to me as she was being served and I’d me if I had come to pick up an order. (He didn’t look like her either.) I confirmed that this was the case, so he led me to a locker and confirmed my name and address and handed me the phone holder. No trouble at all!

ordered a bike on line to be built instore which cost an extra £10 but forgot to add some mudgaurds so contacted Halfords by phone to see if they could fit some while building the bike. I was told that would be ok but I would need to pay for them instore. On collecting the bike there were no mudgaurds fitted and was told I could purchase some instore and pay an extra £5 to have them fitted so was not impressed. I've been to Tritton Road Autocentre twice since I got my first car and I cannot thank the professionalism and friendliness of the staff at the centre enough. My first visit was to have my alternator belt replaced which was flagged when I first got the car. The whole job including sourcing the belt was about £55 (Was quoted over £100 by a Renault garage). Dropped my car off and the job was done within the hour, just enough time for me to get some shopping and finish my coffee. You don't need to go to collect your car immediately either, if you need to finish something up then it's not a problem as they have a nicely sized car park out the back. I asked for them before I left the car if they could check my tyres and they told me that as part of any job they do, they'll double check tyres and do a mini health check of the vehicle which really surprised me and was a nice touch My second visit was for two front tyres to be replaced. One of them kept deflating over a 3 week period which I knew was wrong so I took to a garage close to me who showed me what the issue was (tread depth had completely gone!) they also flagged that my alignment had gone. They quoted over £170 for the job. I went home and found on Asda tyres a set that were ever so slightly lower in quality but cost much less. We booked the job in on there with Tritton Autocentre with the alignment for £130 which was a great saving. I arrived on the day, however only one tyre had been delivered. The manager (Of whom I've forgotten the name of and on my next visit will definitely ensure to ask!!) chased this up for me and offered to fit one tyre at that time and then do the other the next day with the alignment. I opted to do this all the next day to save me and them a bit of time. When I took it back the next day a 12, considering they were really busy, they had it done for me ready to pick up when I finished work at 3pm. Being a new car owner, the experience of going to car garage's is quite daunting, especially when you hear horror stories people experience (Seemingly more so as a woman). I've had a great experience so far with the team at Tritton Autocentre. They've been informative and efficient on every visit, I feel completely reassured to go back. Thank you so much!!!

Decent enough place and a good group of lads BUT there seems to be an issue with how Halfords handle appointment times. I was having replacement tyres, and the online system books in for time slots at 1hr intervals (0830, 0930 etc). I was there for 0815 to dropoff for the 0830 slot, ready to wait for the tyres, only to be told the 0830 slot (the first of the day) didn't mean that would be when they'd be starting. I asked roughly when they'd be done, only to be told they can't give a time, even approx, but would call when it was ready...! What a load of tosh; why do they think people take a timed slot. I waited with the car (I live ten miles away) and almost everyone who came in was surprised to be told the same, whatever they were booked in for. They had a lot of frustrated customers that morning. Do they think people have nothing to do all day? In the end, my tyres were completed TWO hours after they had the keys to the car. Whether this 'can't give a time' is a local or regional thing I don't know, but if it is a National policy they really need to make people who are booking fully aware beforehand (e.g. a big pop-up online) otherwise they will suffer on repeat business. My tyres were a good price (although I could have got them cheaper locally the next day) but a lot of their offerings aren't cheap. I nearly choked when they quoted one lady £81.99 for an oil/filter change on a basic 1.4ltr car and then couldn't say that if she booked it in the following week it would be ready be 'x' time for her to get to work. Come on Halfords, get your act together with your booking slots. Other tyre companies and autocentres can; why can't you? Follow-up to response from Halfords: I see Halfords have posted a standard 'oh so sorry' response with the 'if you would like to discuss it further please call us'. What a slack, careless attitude! Halfords, you have my contact details including telephone number, yet you can't be bothered in the slightest to contact me, whilst suggesting I waste my time and money ringing you (and probably a call centre) to what avail? OK, so a couple of pointers here: The autocentre staff turned up with McD's for breakfast and that took priority over opening, the staff had to be spoken to about loud f'ing and bliming in the workshop, job order and scheduling was totally random and why don't Halfords discourage the excessive use of mobiles at work?
