precious London gems - the kind of place you will miss when it goes.
It revolves around the owner 'Pat' (who many simply call 'uncle') a straight-forward, straight-talking dude.
I got some wheels refurbished; @ 'K1' they sand and repaint your wheels they send get them dipped (to strip all paint), When they come back they look like a brand new set of wheels.
While you're waiting, K1 fit suitable wheels onto your car, so you can still drive about. In my case, It took 3 days in all.
At the time, post lockdown - it cost me £65 per wheel for 16 & 15" alloys.
Don't pay attention to the rough and ready appearance of the place - Highly recommended!!

S. S.Busy but for good reason. Came here for a wheel alignment, the mechanic set my car right quickly and without issue. He was able to correct a problem a previous garage told me they were unable to fix. The tyre team also rebalanced one of my tires which was off. Prices are great and worth the wait. Would recommend.

S. N.Good place nowhere to sit!!! I had 2 tyres part wear fitted, very good service, only complaint is that there is No waiting area!!! no tea coffee machine.. had to stand in the cold for nearly an hour,, have also visited there other branch K1 ILFORD which seems to be so much nicer and cleaner, They also provide tea coffee machine and a waiting area, very polite staff and so much of a cleaner place, think will be using them from now on.

They are an excellent service for all your tyres, wheel refurbishment, four wheel alignment besides other tyre needs and accessories that I have forgot to mention. Their prices are very reasonable, competitive. Fast turnaround for wheel refurbishments! The owner is very approachable and they are very quick at what they do. Highly recommended and will continue to use as long as I am still alive :)

I am laughing at the negative comments left by others.. please note they are most likely to be other local businesses within the trade trying to cause a disruption but let's make it clear when you have a good reputable business such as K1 then you don't worry about people's ignorance on goggle review. lol.
R. M.Love this place for tyres, the staff are great and friendly. They are knowledgeable and crack on with the work. It can get busy so be prepared to wait for a bay to be free if you do go. Having said that they are one of the cheapest tyre places I've been to, way better than some of the more glitzy looking places which are complete rip-off merchants. This place is great as they keep the prices low even though it might look a little gritty.
It can seem off putting of you're a woman to go here as it might look like there are loads of blokes around, but they are polite and will stretch their necks out to help you.
Top place for tyres they also do wheel alignment, for a cheaper price than more mainstream places. The wheel alignment guy is in a garage opposite K1, very knowledgeable and can usually do wheel alignments that other places might say it can't be done mainly because they're just not excelling themselves.
J.I had my alloy wheels refurbished by K1 - and I am amazed at how good they look now. It's a superb service. The wheels look brand new again. Shiny and scratches all gone. The service cost £260 for all four wheels (£65 each), which compares very well to others. (A different "operator" quoted £300 if I took the tyres off and left him the alloys to collect - leaving me to prop my axles up, presumably on bricks, for four days before he would, allegedly, return the refurbished alloys. Er, no thanks). K1 took my wheels off and replaced them with spares and allowed me to drive off again about 20 minutes after arriving. I returned to the shop two days later and had my gleaming new alloys fitted in a similarly quick time. All the staff seemed friendly. And when I spoke to the boss he was really approachable and knowlegable about the acid-dipping, polishing and powder-coating techniques they use to refurbish the alloys. I don't leave many reviews, least of all good ones, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend K1.

S.I’ve had a small crack on one of my alloy wheels on my bmw 5 series, I’ve been recommended to come this place to solve the problem and when I got there within less than 2 mins they discovered where the crack it was, I’ve told them I want all my alloy wheels to be refurbished, they gave me a spare 4 wheels to use it while they are solving my wheels, within 2 days they told me to come back and wow these guys were amazing with their work and I was so happy with my alloy wheels, I highly recommend everyone to go to them because they are honest and passion with their job. Don’t judge them by reading negative comments, go there and you won’t be disappointed
