Very easy to book my purchase and fitting on line, I received a text advising me when my order was ready to collect. Although there was only one member of staff visible when I arrived at the store he dealt with the customers who were before me and then provided an excellent service in a very professional manner. Unfortunately I didn't get the staff member's name but he was very polite and thorough, an excellent attitude. I would definitely recommend, and use again. The unnamed staff member should be sought and rewarded by Halfords.

We encountered problems with our dash cam ,we took it to Halfords at the fort in Manchester. Andy the sales person at the store tested our faulty dash cam spent quite a bit of time trying to get it working but unfortunately couldn’t and advised us on the best one to replace it with. After taking it away and realising we couldn’t fit it ourselves we took it back thinking we had the wrong one. Andy saw us come through the door and came straight to help us and sorted the fitting for us. He was really helpful and pleasant . Thanks Andy x

I would never have a bad word said about this team. No matter who I deal with they are excellent. Since I bought a bike for my son in December 2020 I would never go anywhere else. The service is second to none and they really put me "the customer" first. I'd specifically like to shout out Josh the young tech lad. He always remembers me and will always go the extra mile to help me out. Unfortunately my lad has a tendency to develop as many bike issues as possible :-) and Josh has always been there to help, provide a brilliant service and give great advice. He recommends the right products each and every time and advices me on how best to advise my son on what he could be doing wrong. I would also like to shout out Dan who again mirrors the same behaviours as Josh. I have been in this store countless times over the last 15 months or so and I have never been disappointed or left feeling like I wasn't looked after. Trust me, I would never go anywhere else and if the team ever moved stores, I would follow them. Its hard to find service like this these days such is the demand for services. Got a message telling me the bike was ready for collection. When arrived it was still in a box! It did not tell me when it was ordered that it would not be ready to go........ as it is an electrical bike it is not suitable for self assembly. Now I have to wait for another 4 days for an assembled bike. Poor communication.

Went into Halfords to buy a bike. I chose one. There was only one to choose from. The chap told me that he couldn't unlock the bike for me to ride round on. It didn't really matter I'm no Bradley Wiggins. I have to mention that the staff at the bike repair unit are exceptionally helpful. I just visited the shop as I had some issues with the gears chains etc. The guy on tonight's shift (can't remember his name) has been fighting with the bike for 2 hours to get it properly fixed. Had a dashcam fitted here Saturday 10th July, Dashcam guy was outside fitting another car, had a short conversation with him about my appointment for fitting, he answered a couple of queries about my specific car and which fuse he would tap into, he was very confident and knowledgeable about it. 30 mins later he was almost finished so he directed me into the shop to wait. Car broke down, didn't have jump leads but a member of staff kindly tried to help me. I was at Halfords (Manchester Fort) on Wednesday the 30th of June. I have Mobility issues and use a Rollator to get around. I needed the brakes on my Rollator adjusted, and even though Halfords don't service Rollators, I took a chance and approached Sam, who pointed us to George. George, even though was pre occupied, offered to adjust the brakes right away. We offfered to pay for the service, but he politely declined saying We (Him & Halfords) did it for a good cause / deed. I was very amazed by this gesture of Kindness and left Halfords with a great sense of appreciation and Gratitude. Thank you George for the Kindness shown. It's a decent enough store and they open fairly late (which may just be a function of them being in The Fort but is appreciated nonetheless). The staff is usually helpful, but if you want any kind of detailed help you're better off just going to a garage- all they can help with is changing light bulbs. Still, it's a good store for basic car stuff like air-freshners, tools, and the like.

Large store can be a little expensive on some items, but you can pickup some good offers like 3 for 2, also they do some offers on the website not available in store, they do a good range of car accessories, they also have satnavs and dash cams, a good range of cycles as well for all the family, and cycling accessories, really could do with a few more staff, normally just one person on a till, staff mostly friendly. Easy to park outside on the large car park, which is free to park on.
