The staff in the bike section were very polite, helpful and professional. I was surprised how well looked after we were. They went above and beyond to help us. Having been to 3 other bike shops to try and buy a bike for myself and for my son in the other stores the staff were not helpful at all but in this store the staff were very helpful and clearly care about their customers. The variety of bikes and acessories available was great too and when we weren't sure the staff couldn't do enough to help us with our purchases.

Sam did an excellent job fitting three new bulbs on my car on a rainy and cold January morning. He was very diligent and conscientious and polite. He went above and beyond in terms of service level and helpfully recommended that I also needed further work directly at the Hyundai dealership due to a specific fault left by a previous (not Halfords) mechanic. Would definitely recommend Sam and the Halfords team for a winter car check and light bulb fitting service.

I am delighted with Halfords service with my £20 voucher from Confused.com it was was exemplary. I got my £20 voucher and went online with Halfords. I photographed the qualifying email. I visited my preferred store and took my goods to the checkout. The cashier was a helpful chap and as nice as he could possibly have been. I presented the photograph of the two Halfords numbers on your email to him and he checked me out thanking me for my custom. Halfords staff - 5 star. White City - 1 star. From arriving at White City shops traffic was virtually grid lock. It took me over an hour to park and then I had to wait a long time due to the queue. The Halfords staff were working really hard and efficiently considering the pressure they were under. When I eventually got served my headlight bulb was changed and ready to go in just 5 to 10 minutes. Incredible efficiency! But then it took me ages to back out to let someone else in to the repair parking spot and another frustrating hour plus to get out of the retail park. The Halfords staff were great but I wouldn't go back there in a hurry due to the horrendous traffic conditions. PS. Manchester United over the road were NOT playing!

I needed a couple of headlamp bulbs and had no idea how to fit them. Halfords supplied and fitted them and also gave my car a free 10 point winter check. Topped my air, water, coolant and screen wash up and did a battery, alternator and type depth check. Completely took the hassle out of this for me and the cost was very reasonable. Really helpful staff that smiled and chatted whilst dealing with me. Was a pleasant productive visit. I’d highly recommend them. There’s a reason their name is well known and trusted ☺️

The service I received yesterday afternoon was exceptional! The team at this Halford store all deserved to be recognised for their incredible customer service and completely going out of their way to assist me. One of the bulbs in my headlights had gone, therefore I wanted to get it changed straightaway. Cole assisted me on which bulb I needed to get but because of the store closing, he couldn't get anyone to change it for me. Myself and my boyfriend tried to change it ourselves but were struggling. After the store had shut, Cole and his team were waiting to go home but because we had been there awhile, he decided to come over and help us. Even though his lift home had already arrived, he stayed to try and change it for us. His whole team waited behind, in order to help and I couldn't be more grateful! The only other name I heard was Harvey but I wish I could have got the name of every individual that was there because they all played a part and I am extremely appreciative of their help.

Went to look at the dashcams after visiting curry's and looking online. The member of staff who was friendly and informative pointed me to the Nextbase 522 which was on offer with a rear camera. I snapped it up straight away as I knew it had good reviews (I did my research) plus it was cheaper than anywhere else and, you got more for your money. The staff I encountered on the day of installation where friendly and funny. The lovely Fez installed my camera. He was very patient with me and made sure I understood how to operate the dashcam.

Popped in this morning to the White City branch to collect both our kits and received a warm welcome. Had a lively chat about the fab deal with the Advisor who was super friendly. So these guys are consistent in the work that they do and i often come here when i have an issue on my bike which i need to fix however they will always put £10 on top of every job they do and often their job quality isnt always the best... I most recently had a puncture which they fixed and i didnt even get to the other side of the car park before i was flat again... An example of staff lazily changing my inner tube without checking my tyre for anything piercing the cover. Saying that though, considering the amount of times i have used them, they have got it right alot more times than they have got it wrong so i would recommend them however grudgingly.

I visited for a dashcam fitting. Jonny fitted the dashcam to my Volvo only to then find the Volvos electrics didn’t conform to that of most cars causing a problem for the dashcam auto on/off. Jonny offered me options of rescheduling or waiting whilst he explored further options to get solution. He apologised for the wait but I didn’t mind as i appreciated his tenacity to find a solution. Nowadays such effort and pride in ones work is rarely encountered, but Jonny exemplified going the extra mile.

I went to pick up my new mountain bike that I’d ordered online, I was met by a friendly young man who couldn’t be more helpful! he had my order ready in the back and brought it out straight away with information about the product. He also advised me on accessories for the bike like mud guards and lights. Where are the staff on the parts counter hiding? Stood there like 'Billy no-mates' for 5 minutes. 🙄 If it's no longer staffed remove it! Shopped for a car battery, the self service computer in-store says all applicable batteries are out of stock (I had to click each individual battery to be told that they are out of stock). After consulting the web store they're actually in stock. Lo and behold there they are, several of them sat on a shelf! 🙄😆 The guy that served me on the till was great, and the ONLY reason this review isn't 1*

Visited store last week for a new bike and equipment. I'm quite new to cycling so have no clue about anything. I was served by Reece who was incredibly helpful! I cannot put into words how much I appreciated his help because I was having such a tough time and he spent a long long time just going through the website and talking me through things and helping me order a bike and kit. Whilst the sales assistant was processing my order at the till (collecting a replacement car registration plate), the customer behind started aggressively swearing at the length of time the process would take, even though the customer had just arrived and the sales assistant was being perfectly diligent simply doing his job. The sales assistant remained very calm throughout, and directed the abusive customer to the till on the first floor. Once the man had left the queue the sales assistant alerted his colleagues of the imminent arrival of the abusive customer and suggested they might like to deal with him quickly. The assistant had clearly been shaken by the exchange, as he initially processed the wrong number on my number plate, but corrected it when he noticed. It was rather depressing to hear such abusive and aggressive language used without any good cause. However I was impressed with how the sales assistant didn't rise to the abuse. Clearly the training that he'd received had prepared him for such an event. This is the second incident of unwarranted and instant rage I've heard this weekend. Maybe a coincidence but kindness and patience appears to be in short supply as we come out of lockdown. Five stars to the sales assistant. Zero stars to the angry man behind me in the queue.

The only thing I would say is that they should have a latent car servicing spot, as I had to park, register, wait about 30 mins (past my booking time) for the people already being serviced to be done, then move my car into the spot before they could get started.

Once there I realised I'd not brought my mask, I had to call again, unfortunately I didn't get the guys name, I couldn't go in the store without, but the guy very kindly offered to have one sent out for me, no charge 😀. Freddie came out with mask and tyre pressure gauge he checked all tyres and filled to the correct pressure. No charge. Impressed with the queuing system at Halfords, 2 separate queues one for bikes and the other for click and collect. I didn't have to wait long to be called in for my order, in fact only a few seconds. The sanitising of hands when entering the store, and exit via another door ensuring social distancing at all times. My only issue is the car park, as there is only one exit, it taken me almost an hour to leave, but it was a Saturday, so I don't know what it's like on a weekday.

They've got a good range of products, and we'll most car or bike related things, and if you need help staff are on hand to assist, even fitting things if needed.
