I took my Car for repair a few days ago and it turned out to be something really expensive. They needed to change the whole ABS system and it would have been a £3000 repair. I had bought an extended warranty cover couple of months before this incident and was hoping it would cover the repair but my audi warranty cover was initially declined. My advisor Claire helped and fought for my case and eventually the warranty provider to paid out. The £3000 repair bill was fully paid by the extended warranty. I couldn’t have been more grateful because that repair would have put me in a financial crisis. Thank you all for helping me to sort my car. I really appreciate it.

We have just bought an Audi RS3 and the service was very high standard. We would like to leave a 5 star review for Peter Crawford who was so knowledgeable about the car and talked us through the details of it step by step. Although I didn’t meet any members of the management team, I am aware they worked with Neil to get me the deal. Neil Curtis was brilliant from start to finish. We sent an initial enquiry through the website and Neil followed up the next day, booked a test drive for us out of hours as that was convenient for us and then presented a very good deal. We felt very comfortable throughout, and Neil was able to answer all our questions. Neil guided us through the process to take our private plate off our old car and even made new plates up for us even though we didn't put these immediately onto the new car. Great service, they fast tracked my car as I wanted to wait until completion (live quite far away and didn’t have a lift home). When I booked the service and MOT I was told that there were no sit and wait appointments left even though I booked approx a month in advance. The next sit and wait was not available until 2 weeks after my MOT was due. I explained that I had no one who could collect me after dropping off the car and no one to bring me back to collect car when ready. The lady on the phone did not seem to be concerned about this but did say she would contact me if there was a sit and wait cancellation or covid rules changed about waiting. I was not contacted again before the appointment.
I therefore decided to walk into Newcastle city centre whilst the service was being performed. However, when I arrived I was informed that car would not be ready until 5pm. As I was dropping car off at 10am this meant walking around the town for approx 6 hours which was ridiculous. After much protest, the receptionist said she would mention my predicament to the service manager to see if it could be ready sooner. At this point she also said that when I was finished in the town I could come back and sit and wait. I was very annoyed as I was not informed this at time of booking.
I have since been contacted by Tia who was checking whether I had a 5 star service and she has apologised for the mis information. She has offered a free wash and vac at another time as I refused this hoping I could have car returned sooner (it was ready a lot sooner). She also provided me with her personal email for when I book in the future so that I do not have the same experience as I did with the call centre.
I would also like to highlight that the video cam was very rushed and there was too much background noise to hear what he was saying clear,y. Maybe using a directional mic would be better.
Can I also say that you should find a way of recording on the car history that a job has been performed external to Audi. I have had my cam belt renewed at a private garage but I am reminded every year that it needs to be changed when it does not. This is very annoying.

This is the first time I have had a disappointing experience with Newcastle Audi in all of the years of my Audi ownership over numerous vehicles. The failure to accept that the issues associated with my car were the result of factors beyond my control (i.e., manufacturing fault of one of the brake discs) and intimating that they were due to my driving style was very disappointing. I have always bought and maintained my Audi's with the Scotswood Road branch, and even when things haven't gone right in the past, they were always rectified promptly and satisfactorily. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case on this occasion, and Audi have not met their usual high standards. This has unfortunately made me reconsider my future car purchase as it was always the customer service of Audi Newcastle that was a deciding factor in my decision to purchase versus going to other dealers/marques of car. It would be great if Audi Newcastle were able to rectify this issue to give me some faith back in their usually very high levels of customer service.

The initial contact was good and very prompt. The issue was when I give a budget and the car I was presented with was way above it. I was told by the sales person that these cars are more expensive than what I currently owned, but I had seen plenty on the site at the price I was looking at. Unfortunately I was made to feel the car I wanted was out of reach, when infact there were older models within reach. Once I said no to the one car I was sent and explained it was too expensive, I didn’t hear back. I didn’t visit the showroom, this was all over the phone.

I needed a paint and/or a paint code from Audi (A1 bronze wheels). Parts department were very helpful but Dougie (Paint?) was extremely helpful........in the absence of a meaningful paint code from Audi he nevertheless was able to paint match the wheels. It would have been so easy to simply hide behind the absence of an effective paint code and do no more but he went above and beyond and took ownership.....great customer service.

In what was probably the strangest set of circumstances the service from Andrew in the parts dept of Newcastle Audi in sourcing and supplying a seemingly impossible to find fuel pump module to keep an ageing Audi TT on the road some 20000km away in tropical Queensland Australia was exceptional. I was more than grateful.

Always difficult to get in touch with Newcastle Audi . Always the Glasgow call centre ,I prefer to deal with Newcastle Audi direct . Also for what is primarily a simple oil change service charges are extremely expensive. Considering that not even simple things for example door hinges locks etc are not even oiled or greased .

During the 150 point preparation regime, you should try checking if the run flat Tyer recovery kit is in date and also if the air con needs refreshing before selling your used cars to customers. I gave my Mini Cooper S and paid £14,000 cash for my Audi S1. I've owned it less than 9 months and have added only 2,200 miles. I then paid £187 for the 2 year/20,000 mile inspection and also paid for an oil change. I didn't object to this but Audi wanted to charge me a further £150 for a new tyre kit and the air con refreshed. I did object to that and they replaced the tyre kit but refused to refresh the air con without me paying £90. What a joke.....average motoring of 250 mile per week means I've been in the car for approx 9 weeks driving since I bought it. I feel like I've been taken for a mug and will definitely ensure I ask about these small but expensive hidden warts when changing my car again. Not impressive customer service Audi!!!!

Thought it strange when I tried to change my appointment from waiting to drop off and collect, the first agent said that I would have to make a new appointment and the second said that was not a problem. What is your policy?

Pleasant enough customer experience until I was rushed into finding an alternative credit source to their plans and then passed around the sales team, to find upon picking up my car that the agreed touch ups were not done.
I was told this was to be sorted for me ASAP, only to be told no courtesy car was available, and couldn't provide a date when. After having to find a time to fit around my work, upon picking the car up again, I noticed the car had not been washed and so questioned how careful of an inspection of the bodywork this even was, and also had the antenna left inside the car which I had to put back on myself - not what you expect from Audi.
For my arrival I also asked for the MOT paperwork to be left for me as I noticed this was not in my pack of documents when purchasing the car, there was nothing left or handover of why to reception. When following up about this with my Sales Rep (Phil), I was blanked numerous times by email. I then proceeded to email the general email for Audi Newcastle, requesting the Sales Managers email. Again, there was no reply but a coincidentally timed follow up from Phil with how I was getting on with my car. I then requested the MOT paperwork yet again, only to be blanked yet again. - Since this review, I was followed up by a Sales Manager, who sent a copy over promptly.

Wanted to book my 8 month old A7 in for its first interim/oil change service, but was told that the fixed price servicing isn't available for my car as it's under warranty and they charge higher hourly labour rate for servicing cars that are under warranty.
I was told that there was no other difference, just that Lookers charge a higher rate for labour when the car is less than 3 years old.
I bought my car from this garage, and was planning on getting my servicing/MOT/upgrades done here, and probably buy my next car here, but I think I'll now shop around for another Audi garage to spend my money with.
