From my first contact over the phone with Rob to collecting the car with Jack, I had nothing but a first class service. This is my 3rd car purchase in as many months and it is by far the best service I have received. Rob talked me through all my options in person and made regular contact with me between purchase and collection, giving me confidence in my purchase. Jack made the collection process very simple and everyone was very professional during the whole process. My husband has just bought a used Kia Sportage from NK Motors, Nottingham. Initially spoke to Rob about two cars he was interested in, one at the Notts showroom and one at the Derby showroom. Rob offered to bring the car from Derby to Notts so we could compare them side by side. When we visited, nothing was too much trouble - he went out of his way to make us welcome. It was the same a week later when we picked up the car. Rob thoroughly discussed the accessories we'd requested to make sure we were happy and then handed us over to Jack, who went through the technical details and even linked my phone to the bluetooth. All in all, a positive experience - would highly recommend NK Motors.

First time using NK motors having been referred by a friend. Looked at the website and spotted a beautiful used car. Visited the premises and dealt with Sandy who couldn't be more helpful. Whilst there a disabled customer struggled walking and the staff all rushed to his aid and were brilliant with him; taking time to get him sorted. They recently had my wife's car in for a repair as an insurance claim. They did a wonderful job, but due to the insurance company not authorising a replacement windscreen straight away, NK had to keep pressuring them to get it done for us. Ian, the body shop manager was fantastic and after quite a few emails, the car was booked in again. When we went to collect it, we couldn't believe what a brilliant job had been done on cleaning it inside and out..it was spotless, and all down to Sharon on reception. We purchased a Sorento from here, i was dubious with Covid rules etc but it was easy enough to buy the car. The guys were very very helpful, sending a video of the car initially to showing us, and showed us how it works when we got there. When faced with issues (non disclosure of a big chip *that had been treated* on the windscreen) they removed what it would cost off the price for us to replace the windscreen! I do wish we were made aware of it prior to travelling from Doncaster to there - but - never mind. For now - the car is lush! Used half a tank of fuel and only had it 72 hours! I couldn't praise the guys enough though. They were helpful and would just about bend over in half for you! Thank you guys! She is a beaut car! (For now anyway *waiting for the 'gremlins' to come out to play lol).

I was encouraged to look at a Kia picanto by a friend who has been very impressed with his own Kia. I walked into the showroom at Chilwell expecting hard sell, pushy car salesmen, and an expectation I'd 'sign on the dotted line' that very day. I could not have been more wrong! I cannot praise the staff highly enough, particularly Thomas Royle, he had a calm presence and took the time to really understand what I needed from a car. I only drive locally , I don't need bells and whistles, I need reliability; he quickly saw this and talked me sensibly through the models which would suit my needs. He understood I was just on a fact finding mission, and was not at all pushy, just informative. After visiting another car dealership, I rang Tom and booked a test drive in the Kia, this is where Tom stood out. I'm not a confident driver so was nervous, Tom put me at my ease and made special allowances when directing me to manage my directional dyslexia. I made it clear I would then need time to think about my decision, we agreed which day Tom would call me, and he did. I have now ordered a Kia. Thank you Tom your help, understanding and patience made a traumatic (for me) experience much easier.

I decided to spend a little more base on the conversation I had with Simon at NK motors. I could have bought similar for cheaper but I wanted piece of mind and aftercare. That said the deal we agreed was fair and I was happy with the trade in as the car we bought (KIA Optima estate) is just brilliant. I drove it home and realised there was a rattle coming from the boot area which because of Covid I couldn't have known as I could not test drive the car. I emailed Simon as soon as I landed back home and he assured me it would be sorted. The following day he video called me with an engineer and talked me through what it could be with another Optima he had in front of them .They helped me fix it in a matter of minutes (something and nothing). Took my wife's 15 plate Picanto in with a headlight issue and was little apprehensive due to it being a "main dealer". Dropped the car in on a Sunday afternoon and was reassured by the salesman that "i will be pleasantly surprised" with the outcome. Car was ready by Wednesday and all the work was covered by KIA's fantastic 7 year warranty. Disappointed. Staff disappeared, was told my car would be 30 minutes (free valet), but over an hour later and having to get service to track down the sales staff, my car was still not done! Purchased a second hand car here last week and I have to say the experience was great from start to finish. I was looked after by Joe who was extremely accommodating and helpful. There were a few issues as the advert on Autotrader was not accurate to the car they had for sale (showed as having a sat nav & leather seats which it didn’t) however, Joe dealt with this situation in a friendly and understanding manner and at a point where I could have walked away from any deal I was about to make; he rescued the sale and even offered to give me his own personal sat nav as part of the deal. Thanks for all of your help Joe, you made the process an easy one. Most importantly I’m really enjoying the car and it was prepped brilliantly to drive away a few days later. The garage definitely know what they’re doing and offer warranties etc to give you that extra piece of mind.

Hi I'm a delivery driver for Bristol Street Derby delivering parts into the Chillwell branch. On one occasion I arrived and found that the parts team were busy assisting customers and I needed help unloading a heavy door from my van being in a rush to reach other customers. I approached one of your sales team who I now know to be Joe Askam to see if he could get me any assistance and despite being smartly dressed he took his jacket off and helped me with the unloading and being a very hot day also went and got me a cup of water. This is excellent service and if Joe is representative of the company then it is in very good hands.

Was only only told reason for delay, on car being returned to us, so that's reason for lower star rating. Poor communication, work on vehicle was good. We were given a poor replacement vehicle, but this was though the lease company at Kia, not NK motors. If I needed more repairs to our vehicle would probably use a different garage, due to poor customer service

We were first introduced to the Sawley/Long Eaton showroom to a Kia Megentis by Sanj, the son of Nindy (owner) who was great and although now at the Derby showroom, he still recognises my husband and me and makes a fuss of us. Since that time we have dealt with Sandy who is always most professional and a pleasure to do business with, has become our friend as have so many of the staff, Simon, Gary, Sam, Lindsay, the service staff. Over the years my husband has had after the Kia Megentis, three Souls which he thoroughly enjoyed and has now got the Niro hybrid which he has had a year and is very pleased with, but next time he will either have the Niro 2 or 3 unless they do a hybrid soul. I myself have had four shortages which I absolutely love, the latest being a black one. Someone stopped me in the Village last week having seen my car and is now thinking of moving to Kia's next. I would recommend the Kia product to anyone, having owned Ford’s VW’s, MG I find this by far for us the best product we have had and the service from all aspects of NK Motors Chilwell has been most professional, friendly and most of all helpfull in every way and importantly their price.

Well people have said my middle name should be Sceptical since after a lifetime of dealing with the motor and transport Industries that is what I have adopted - until now. Oh dear it seems nothing changes and then we get a call from James at NK Motor Group in Derby who said they had just the thing - oh yes. Should we travel 60 miles to have a look - we did and we were still sceptical when we agreed to buy. We collected the car three weeks later and we were staggered with the service and hospitality not to mention the car. There were details even we had missed that had been corrected without any fuss.
