Excellent company and top notch job. Had a conservatory fitted from them, Everything was sorted and workmen were courteous and prompt turning up when they said they would (a rarity these days). Our conservatory was supplied and fitted by Stormclad about a year ago. We were very happy the quality and the finish of the conservatory. Recently we have had to call out Stormclad for some minor issues, ( Door not locking properly, and a loose threshold strip). I do not usually write reviews but feel that I must do so for Stormclad following the 1st class service they have given me over the last 2 years. Over this period they have installed new doors, windows, gutters and a replacement conservatory for me. I am a retired Project Manager with over 40 years experience of managing companies like Stormclad. My requirement was to upgrade my property with the best windows, glass and doors available today and have a quality installation. I guess that my experience has helped me manage them, but their friendly installation teams always came when they promised, they undertook their work very professionally, they left my home clean and tidy and did a 1st class job. No company is perfect and how they rectify any issues is often a good measure of that company. Stormclad quickly did this (changed a marked glazed unit). I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Had our windows done in two installments a few years ago. Staff were honest and helpful and did everything they promised on time. But I'm writing this review because I had a problem today with a door not shutting properly and they came out and fixed it within the hour and without question. We had a few quotes from other companies but stormclad came in at the best price. We had all new windows and doors replaced last year (2 bays, 3 standard windows and front and back door) and we were really pleased with the results. The fitters where friendly, polite and tidied up after themselves even after a difficult job (our bays are out of line). We also had our fascias done. The best part of the whole experience was the ongoing support provided by storm clad. I thought our windows had dropped after the installation, and upon contacting them, they sent out an engineer within days to conduct a full review and he put my mind at rest instantly (we have a 1930s build) with a full explanation of the problem (nothing to do with the fitting) and told me to contact them without hesitation going forward. I would definitely use them again, we have already recommended family and friends to use them!

Stormclad came to my attention as the approved installer for Rockdoor in my area. The sales guy visited the house and provided far more information about options and fitting than any other installer that I had spoken. The service was very professional and they made the effort to ensure I was comfortable with my order choices. The review would have been 5 stars if not for the time it took to get the door properly measured and fitted once ordered. Having said that Stormclad kept me informed of time scales at all times and things happened within times they said they would happen. I now have the front door that is right for the house at the right price.

Overall our experience was very good. The survey visit was straight-forward and specific to our requirements with no attempts to upsell. The first quote was sensible and not aimed at giving a fake discount to get us signed up 'on the day', the product is excellent and meets our expectations. There was an issue when the windows were fitted, that could not have been foreseen and this was dealt with quickly and honestly and to our satisfaction. We went to Stormclad after personal recommendations and I wouldn't hesitate to do the same.

I'm mid way through an installation with Stormclad at the moment. I'll return to leave a review if/when the snags are sorted - hopefully it will be a good review ! 2 years later and Google reminds me - so I better finish this off. I'll up my 2 stars to 4. We had a bespoke glass design requirement with them - this sounds difficult/fancy - but it really wasn't. It was a clear pinstripe border within frosted pane. Two in the door and the same in a top box. They did OK as requested but it seemed to be a bit of a drag for them and felt like a lot of effort for a simple request at the time. During installation, there was a bit of a gap due to our house being older and apertures not quite as square as a newer house. Initially the filled a gap with silicone and when I came home from work and saw it, it was a bit of shocker. To their credit, when I complained, they cam round and made it good within a few days. The door still looks good and we're much more secure and a bit warmer 2 years down the line. The interest free credit was useful too. So all in all, you could do a lot worse.

Stormclad installed double glazing throughout my house and we were absolutely delighted with their attitude, their completely open and honest pricing (none of the usual "double glazing salesmen" types) and above all the sheer quality and care done during the installation. I was extremely nervous about this major work being done to the property but they were brilliant and we now have a noise-free environment (hardly noticed firework night!) and it is warmer too! I would recommend them very strongly!

We chose Stormclad after a recommendation from my contractor who was building our extension. Salesman was good without being pushy. We had a window and a large set of bifold doors which came in on budget. Fitting was quick and efficient, and a couple of snagging issues were dealt with effectively. After care has also been very good.

We decided to have a conservatory and replacement front porch late in 2014 so we invited 3 suppliers to quote for the installation, we decided to choose Stormclad based on the professional quotation from their salesman Paul, major a major contributing factor were all the guarantees that came with quotation. The day of installation arrived early in January 2015 and the guys who were doing the base arrived on time and consulted with us prior to starting confirming everything with us at every stage. The base was finished and the window installers arrives a couple of weeks later again discussions took place and work did not start untill we were entirley satisfied with how the installation was to proceed. After the installation was complete we had a slight snag which was resolved within about 5 hours after only 1 phone call to say we were impressed is an understatement. Stormclad should be very proud of all their all their staff both inside and outside, they have been very professional at every stage, everyone seems to be very customer focused with nothing being a problem. We have no hesitation in recommending them. If you want a professional customer focused supplier you need to choose Stormclad.

Admittedly, our particular job was not without difficulties along the way, relating to materials discovered on the original house. However, the team has been attentive, patient and polite in dealing with situations efficiently and effectively. The finished result is extremely smart. Before I start this review let me just say, I am very particular about work carried out in my home. Many builders have tried and failed to impress me. I have very high standards. The design process was very easy. The consultant arranged an appointment, listened to what we wanted then offered advice on how best to achieve it and also any design limitations. The finished design was much better than our original concept and the consultant knew the companies products very well. I was expecting a hard sell during the design visit, but was pleasantly surprised when this didn't happen. We were given the design and a price. The various payment options were explained and then we were left with it. No hard sell. Once a decision had been made to go with Stormclad the process happened very quickly. A small snag was hit with the local planning department, but Stormclad took care of this. It delayed the build by a few months, along with the snow, but ultimately it was no fault of Stormclad. The builders who turned up on the first day were great. They explained what they would be doing and roughly how long it would take. They listened to my requirements about leaving the gates unlocked etc... and I never had any issued or had to remind them about anything a second time. They completed the work to a very high standard and cleaned up afterwards. I spent some time watching them as they worked, they were true professionals and really knew their business. The base was left to settle and appointments were booked for the next phase of the build. This all went without hitch and again the workmen were very good and completed the build to a high standard. There was a slight oversight towards the end of the second phase, where a piece had not been ordered. Again Stormclad rectified it very quickly and without any fuss. There was no cover up or bull dust as to what had happened, just an honest explanation and then put right. You really can't ask for more than that. The final stage of plastering and skirting etc... has just been completed. Again very good workmanship, no issues. The conservatory has now been painted and is just waiting for the flooring to be completed at the weekend. I can't wait for it to be finished so I can spend the summer sat in there. All in all a very good experience with Stormclad. They did exactly what they said, the price was competitive and the workmanship is of a high standard. One of the few companies to impress me. I would highly recommend them.

First used Stormclad for some home improvements back in 2002 on my first home. When we moved in 2014, we had no hesitation inviting Stormclad back in to help modernise our new home. Over the years have had sofits, facias, doors and windows fitted from range of different Stormclad installation teams. The work is always carried out professionally and to an excellent standard. We have once or twice had a few snagging issues which is to be expected. However once reported to the aftersales team, they have been responsive helpfull and always resolved the issue to our satisfaction. If we decide to move and need help again, we know exactly who we will be ringing.

We had 23 windows and a patio door changed. Staff were courteous, prompt and very clean. All details were discussed at every stage so that we knew what was happening and when. Removal of the old windows were undertaken whilst everything was fully covered indoors, creating little mess, with the old windows removed from site at the end of each day as promised. A small degree of collateral damage was caused with the removal of the windows, but hugely less than had been envisaged, and all repaired appropriately. One slight glitch proved to be the quality of the glass units, with several that required replacement due to manufacturing errors, which is not the fault of Stormclad. However the response of Stromclad to ensure that the final results were perfect, as expected, is highly commendable as they returned on several occasions without hint of disagreement to ensure that we were content with the final result. The whole project was competitively priced, cleanly undertaken with minimal disruption to house and home. All staff were very helpful and no detail too small to address. The company obviously strives to ensure that its' customers are satisfied with the product and workmanship, which it achieves admirably. I would have every confidence in recommending Stormclad as an ethical, sincere and responsible company. Something I wish was more prevalent in this day and age. Our barn conversion had wooden windows fitted originally which were rotten after 12 years and we required a good quality wood look alike UPVC product with a stylish profile that would mimic the grain of timber . Stormclad were professional and helpful from the start offering a beautiful quality Irish oak UPVC product and at a competitive price. We have been impressed with the service from the initial quote through to the detail in the measuring up and the fitters who did the install . A great service and a very satisfied customer . After having 3 quotes for our fascia's, barge boards, gutters, downpipes etc., we chose Stormclad as a) we used this company previously for all of our windows, b) the structure of the fascia's bargeboards etc. was excellent, along with the plastic 'fingers' fitted above them and below the tiles to prevent bird ingress, c) the pricing was competitive for the quality offered. The two fitters turned up on time along with the scaffolders, and set to work straight away. The work was completed in the time span specified to a high level - all mess was cleared away and the two guys were very polite and punctual. What more can I say - good products, good job and good people.

A really down to earth and friendly chap (Dennis) called with samples of doors and explained the pros and cons of each type of door without any pressure and with the same conviction as if he was buying it for his own home. Genuinely liked the product and could see the difference in quality from other sales reps we had. The price was great and we replaced 3 doors. The fitting team were punctual, tidy and extremely conscientious and we were surprised how little decorating we had to do afterwards. There was a slight problem with one door which was a manufacturers issue and the company bent over backwards to sort it out even suspending payment till we were 100% satisfied. Recently had two Solidors fitted by Stormclad. Although there was quite a wait between ordering and fitting (understandable since I ordered shortly before Christmas) the actual day of fitting went very smoothly, there was no mess left, and most importantly the doors look lovely and seem to be great quality. A couple of years ago I decided to have the soffitt and guttering replaced at my bungalow. I sope to two companies. When I contacted Stormclad - it was a Saturday morning - the salesman came that afternoon!! He gave a domonstation that was very impressive through a model. It was clear form the outset that this product was of superior quality and that the salesman knew what he was talking about. Nom pressure was applied to make a sale unlike other companies that make themselves at home for hours on end. The fitting of the product was carried out by a proficient tradesman and his 'lad' over a couple of days with minimum disruption. The soffitt and guttering have now stood the test of time and still look as good as when it was fitted. Would recommend Stormclad without doubt.

ASK ABOUT THE LOCKING MECHANISM before you agree to go ahead with the door. We had a front door installed and you can only open the door from the inside of the house with the key. That means any time someone wants to leave the house they must have a key. Absolute nonsense. Very disappointed with this as not only that but if the key is accidentally left on the inside of the door, you can’t open it from the outside. If this doesn’t bother you then great as the door itself looks good and was reasonably priced. But at the quotation stage this should have been mentioned.
