Car needed to have new coils fitted and owner drove himself to the supplier to pick up parts whilst I waited in the shop. Staff were keen to help as it was a bank holiday weekend starting the next day I needed the car sorting for work myself. Staff were friendly and made sure my car was sorted. Would recommend anytime.

Been going here for years. Staff always willing to undertake small tyre fitting jobs at reasonable prices eg. Changeover including valve & balance only £10. Ask Sanjay (the boss) for tyre prices and they're always reasonable for fully fitted Inc. balance and disposals. New valves etc. Staff always try to fit you in if they can, they of course do car repairs and seem to know their job. I recommend this company and have no affiliations apart from being a satisfied customer.

Visited the garage for the first time after I required a alloy wheel refurbishment after I skidded on black ice and hit the pavement with the wheel. The garage did a fantastic job and you can't tell where the damage was. The wheel looks as good as new. Excellent value for money with a cost of £50 and the guys were great to deal with. Will be back if I have any car issues.

Super service. Had accidentally hit a wing mirror in next street. Took my car and other car to garage to see how they could help. Honestly what a fantastic service we were given. Looked at it, needed some detailing, painting to other car and I paid for it. Arrangements were made with the driver of bmw to return when convenient for him. I also had my wing mirror fixed there and then. Couldn’t help me enough sorting this out, could have been a lot worse but he was calm and the bmw owner then calmed down. DAS has been really good with their service. I was driving down from Leicester to Preston and as I entered Preston my car broken down and called Alpesh from DAS garage he came in no time. Took my car to his garage and as it was late in the evening he manage to get the part for my car and with efficiency he changed the part of my car and my car was ready in no time. The staff are all friendly and very professional. I had "alloy gaiters", fitted to my new car as protection for the alloys (before I did any damage by catching against a curb.) The wheels look great! Whilst I waited in the office/ shop they were very busy with appointments, checking and ordering parts needed to replenish their stock. The shop seems to stock a great deal. This garage is "a little gem".

Great team at discount auto spares, went to get my cigarette lighter fixed today, they fixed it within 5 minutes of me being there and didn’t cost me a penny. I’ve been there a few times and they have always been really helpful and polite and always willing to help. They always fix my problems really quickly with great prices. First class service from a Trustworthy garage. Car broke down on motorway, steam pouring from under bonnet, presumed was quite serious, rang Discount Auto Spares who advised the car could be recovered to there garage straight away. Soon as got there they immediately looked at it and started working on it even though it was almost closing time. After leaving on my way to get a hire car for the next week they rang and said they had fixed it.. saved me £150 on getting a hire car and only charged £20 for replacement part to fix car. From breaking down on M6, 15 miles from Preston included getting breakdown to recover me i was back on the road 3 hrs later. Excellent service from the most trustworthy garage i know. From my experience when selecting a mechanic or garage, it is hard to find people to trust, Discount Auto Spares has never let me down after years of service and a array of cars they have worked on for me over the years. Top notch, ill never take a car anywhere else.

The price i was quoted form discount auto spares was £230. Nearly half the price. Been ripped off for a good ratio of time until I got in touch with discount Auto spares in Preston. Once been told by a nearby garage that my little Vauxhall Corsa had an engine knocking sound. Was advised to change engine before it frustrates my journey one day. Instantly a recovery man gave me a complimentary card cos they both saw me and my car as a potential customer in a very shortest time. Next day, I went to Discount but the engineer said my car engine had no issues. I have since then used this car for over two years yet moving without a day of disappointment. Thanks to discount.... The two brothers (and their family) manage this small business very well, they have always managed to fit my car in (been taking my cars here for 10 years) and I love the MOT reminders that I get annually. It is a friendly service with a fair pricing model. The parts that I have needed are usually ordered in very quickly if they are not immediately available and I tend to get advice on what work is needed or essential and then I can make a call on what I want to do. Brilliant! There are a couple of examples where they have gone over and above: 1. When I had to take my car for an MOT in Berkshire, DAS negotiated on my behalf and ensured I wasn't overcharged by a mechanic 200 miles away from Preston! 2. When I had broken down on the M6 (because I neglected to top up the oil in my car) and DAS managed to get me back on the road in a couple of days after sourcing and fitting an engine! I had to get my breakdown people to tow the car back to Preston. 3. When almost 6 years they assisted with finding me a new car and ensured it was security checked and safe for me to buy! It is still going strong.

Turned up unannounced on Saturday morning with a puncture repair request for my Ford Focus. Although the workshop was extremely busy, within 20 minutes my puncture was repaired, the spare put back in the boot, wheel trim secured "with matching coloured tie wraps" I asked the technician if he could fit my replacement wiper blade which I had bought weeks ago but never got round to putting on, "no problem" was the reply and the icing on the cake, when I came to pay the bill. the manager said "no charge for fitting the wiper blade" Excellent customer service and value for money, a well run professional family business. This garage got me home safely! After having some moron not only hit my mirror, but hit it so hard it was attached only by a couple of wires and kindly leaving no insurance details I contacted Kia. For a replacement mirror they wanted £325 no electrics no heating just a box, some glass and a wire. As an NHS student this was my subsistence for 2 months and with a motorway journey looming, my drivers mirror was essential. I started to ring scrappers and parts suppliers from a Google list, everyone said "No, its a pattern part... very expensive will have to be ordered in... " (not in time for my motorway journey home). After conversations with 8 businesses I got to Sanj at DAS Preston. He cheerfully asked me if I had the broken bits, offered to seek a supplier for the whole part and assured me if something could be done, it would be done. I went in and he spent half an hour sat trying to make the remaining bits fit (would have worked better had it not been half the other guys mirror) and then figured out a way to attach it so I wouldn't be without in the meantime, he then ordered replacement mirrors to arrive that day. When it turned out the specific mirrors were as rare as the part, he had 500 mirror replacements searched to find a best fit. Over 24 hours he had managed to piece together a functioning mirror to ensure a safe drive home. He worked within my minuscule budget where so many others just made sad faces and offered to order it from Germany. This kind of creativity and customer service is rare. He did an amazing job out of the bits I gave him, I could see he would have far preferred perfection - I was overjoyed with functionality. I was kept fully informed throughout. The size of my budget did not affect the quality of the service. A brilliant family run business with wonderful professionalism and integrity. He has suggested I keep looking for a replacement part online and when I find one I will definitely be looking to DAS Preston to refit it. I cant recommend them enough.

i feel i must set the record straight i put the negative review and after saj tracked me down to get to the bottom of the problem this was not discount auto's fault it was a member of the staff that they had put trust into but was unaware that he had book the parts out but never fitted so was under the impression the job was complete, After talking to saj and he explaining they had now realised where the misunderstanding has come from and now all been rectified so please all ignore the first review this is now sorted i have also contacted Google to remove it and hopefully this will be done soon. I can only presume that the comment has been published by a competitor garage, if so the tactic is lame and inappropriate in the business sense.
