Hi I don't reviewing very often, but Gendan team seriously deserve for few words of appreciation. Purchased from them VCDS HEX-NET PRO recently and I need to admit that I am very pleased with product quality as wel as customer service and customer approach. I placed order and not long after I received update email that it was prepared to be sent to me and handed to a courier (this email seriously made my day, cause the way how it was written) Order well packaged I could even say that they sending orders in "idiot proof' packaging and You can be sure it gonna arrive to Your doors as it was sent to you also little sweet treat included is pleasant surprise when You unpacking Your order. After I check everything properly i just popped quick email back to Gendan to let them now that I received my stuff and all is good. Didn't expect any reply even, but Mike came back to me very quickly and offered his help in a future if I'll have any problems with my interface... Seriously- extraordinary customer service. Thanks Gendan!!!

I placed my order in a rush for a ODB2 tool that everyone had sold out of... not only was the tool cheaper from Gendan the service was amazing. The email with a story on my items journey was not only amusing I shared it with many friends as sharing is caring. After reinstalling the dashboard in a Corsa I had a "Service Airbag" message. The general opinion on the Internet was that I had to take the car to the main agent to have the airbag ECU reprogrammed, which would have been expensive. Gendan provided an NT680 All Systems scanner, explained how to use it and the message went away. The vehicle has now passed its MOT.

I purchased my basic home engine diagnostic product 9 years ago. My laptop "blew up" big time, requiring a new laptop and re- installation of the Gendan software. Couldn't get it to work- I know even less about computers than I do about engines! On the phone and Sam was very patient with me as I am a one finger typist and haven't a clue what I'm supposed to do. Eventually he took over my computer (thank goodness for this technology) and speedily sorted the problem and got the software reloaded. That was in the morning and after lunch I thought I'd better check everything was ok. It wasn't because my new laptop had Windows 11 loaded and couldn't detect an interface-- whatever that is! On the phone again and this time Mike drew the short straw. Again nothing was too much trouble, although he too had to eventually take control of my computer. Everything is now working perfectly. These guys are a superb advert for Gendan and the customer service is the best. No problem with my inability and lack of knowledge which when you are 80 years old can be quite frustrating to most folks. Would recommend this firm for quality of product, willingness to upgrade your older equipment ( for free) to keep up with new technology rather than expecting you to purchase new equipment and of course their customer service. It’s not often that you see a business with over 700 reviews that are 100% five-star, but these guys deserve it. I ordered a diagnostic kit from their website. Website prioritised ease of use and functionality over flashy design which was great. Pricing was fair and transparent. Ordered the software and cable kit to connect to my cars ECU. It arrived very quickly, literally 2 days or something and that was around Christmas time. It was easy to install. Everything was supplied for problem free connection. Followed the instructions and connected to my car's ecu with no problems with full functionality. Considered buying bits separately off eBay initially but I wasn't sure exactly which one to get and I did hear about potential problems depending on what version of connector you get and the driver software. The upshot is that if you go with Gendan you can be much more confident that you will get exactly what you need and you know its all going to work.

From placing the order to receiving the goods was all but a 17 hour turnaround with the next day delivery. The kit arrived well packed and included a really useful started guide. The final part of the process was awaiting the Ross Tech cable registration process which took just under 15 minutes and we were good to go. When I was looking for the GS-911 I saw all the five star reviews for this company and thought ”Oh yeah. As if!” But having dealt with them I can confirm that they really are five star. I had some (probably daft) queries about the kit, which were answered politely and promptly and their emails keeping me up to date with my order were excellent. Many firms claim to focus on customer service, but this firm really delivers it. As a grumpy old man, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

A fantastic experience all round with Gendan who I was referred to by Ross-Tech after an issue with my VCDS interface. Gendan took the interface and repaired it for me at a very reasonable price, then posted it back to me, all within four days. They could quite easily have told me that the interface was broken and charged me for a new replacement at close to £500, but instead they repaired it for just over 10% of that cost. I couldn't be happier and I will be a returning customer in the near future for more diagnostic equipment to equip my growing business. Thoroughly recommended.

I'm old school mechanic Apprenticeship 1979 and with a modern car that I service and repair myself I have struggled in recent years to know the difference between the different modules and with garages charging over £60 a pop to read codes I decided it was about time I invested in a code reader after lots of google searches I took advise from a friend in the trade he recommended the single manufacturer model NT520 but I decided to opt for the NT644pro as I own a Landrover disco 3, a Mazda and a Mercedes sprinter it was easy well the first time I have used this tool I have saved myself a huge £1500 (estimate) garage bill the garage said the Landy needed new clocks and a control module, the Landy said full system failure restarting, the nt644 said intermittent communication fault so I checked all plugs and found corrosion on half a dozen pins (short version) on a module thank you nt644 even after buying this unit I'm still better off I wish I had bought one sooner.

My local garage can't read the OBD fault codes from my FIAT, a mobile service capable of reading the codes costs over £100.00, a FIAT dealer nearly twice as much. So I ordered an OBD connector from Gendan, it arrived promptly the following day. They gave advice on how to download the drivers for the OBD connector, it was very easy, I can now both read and reset fault codes myself. The lead I bought from Gendan paid for itself on the first use, plus I can use it every time I get a fault code - Thanks Guys!

Rapid service on suppling VCDS tool. Sofware downloads are easy and straight forward. Connecting to nearly new VW quick and easy. Reading fault codes is easy and comprehensive. Ross Tech forum and others are full of ideas and tips. Mine being a new VW it can only use UDS, which to begin with seems a bit limiting, but with use the advanced function actually proves more useful - though finding the right PID can be time consuming - VW fault not VCDS. Takes a while to find where everything is located - like parking brake function is not under parking brake but under ABS ? Overall good service and very useful tool, will pay for itself.

VCDS. If you have a VW then you'll need this tool. There are plenty of Chinese clones about and you can waste you money there because they fail! I know that all too well. It is just not worth buying a clone. So that leaves full priced ones. You can buy from a few places but only Gendan give full back up. Their service is great and they inject a lot of humour into the job too.
