Bought a dash camera online and had it fitted at this shop. Booked in for 2 hours and it was finished about 15 minutes early. Staff were very polite and the fitter (Harch) took time to explain the camera functions and advise on how to keep the SIM card error free. Nicely fitted and no issues.

I use this store quite a bit. The products can sometimes be a bit over priced but sometimes a good deal, it just depends on what you are buying and what offers are available! I have also used the adjoined Halfords Auto Centre once for a free brake check and I must say the booking was easy via their website, I was kept updated via emails, the staff were friendly, and the check was completed with no faults found. So from this experience I must recommend this Halfords store and Auto Centre.

Had my bike fix under the government voucher scheme it was inspected by Ross and booked in for the agreed new hydraulic brake system on overhaul works during the repair, it was found the green gew tubes were solid and needed replacement,he rang me and gave multiple options and prices before replacing putting the customer first. upon collection all staff were wearing masks and screens by the tills COVID safe. Only issues I had is with trying to call back the store, as I spoke to useless national call centre which would put me through and had to go back into the store Ross was able to quickly resolve, his a credit to your team

Wow what can I say..disgusted! Purchased a coolbag from here and upon first use it was apparent it had been returned to the store as spmething had been spilt in the bottom of it...disgusting!. Inconveniently I returned it for an exchange on the morning of our outing which was done without argument. Sadly this one also had to be returned as the inner plastic was torn. I was unhappy with the whole scenario so I got in touch with customer complaints via a live chat. I was told someone would be in touch within 48 hrs. Noone did so again back in touch. This time told someone back in touch for definite within 72 hours. Noone did. So I called store direct to find out how a used bag can be resold. This was denied and after a brief disagreement a full refund was offered which I did indeed take to cover the fuel for the numerous visits and inconvenience. I am glad I took the refund as after a few uses the zip snapped on the bag. You may see below a reply about me contacting customer services, i did this on several occasions without any joy so why suggest. Poor product and poor service from head office!

I have been using Halfords for years, as their Advanced range of tools come with a lifetime guarantee and I’ve always found them to be well made. Should any tool break be it a ratchet or a T40 bit, they are replaced straight away. The Telford branch is my nearest and over the years I have always found the staff to the very helpful and friendly, no matter if you are looking for car or bicycle parts. If Halfords were to bring out their own range of Advanced power tools, I would more than likely switch over to this product, as I’m sure they would be as good as any other leading brand of power tools.

The Click and Collect system 3as easy to use and efficient. The order was made, an hour later it was ready for collection. The store was clearly marked out to comply with Covid restrictions and the staff were helpful. The store assistant offered to carry my large box down the stairs and to my car which was much appreciated. A pleasant and safe experience.

It was far too busy for them to do well. I tried to drop off my bike but wasn't really told anything so walked out. Called the shop 30 mins later and was told its ready. 1* for the bike centre, 5 for the phone lady, 3 overall.

A month ago I had a health check done on my bike. Turn out that I needed the gold service doing to it as there was loads of damage also needed a new bottom bracket chain and gears at rear. That's not a problem as I new there was quite a bit of work to be done with it. I am 100% fine with all the work that has been done. But the only thing is that I WASNT informed of was "my bike being washed" until I pick it up. I was told a price at £123.99 and ended up paying £132.99. £10 for a bloody bike wash "really" Now if I was told this when I brought the bike in or when I spoke to the person on the phone who was dealing with my bike. I would of said I will come pick it up take it myself to be washed and then bring it back to you. Because put it this way it wouldn't of cost of £10 to wash it off. Yes fair enough they kindly washed it for me but that's not my point, MY POINT IS THAT I WASNT INFORMED THAT IT WAS GOING TO COST £10 FOR IT TO BE WASHED. Also when you ring halfords telford instead of going straight through to the store you go to some call centre then you have to explain to them why you are ringing then they ring the store for you to see if you are aloud to speak with a store worker. but many thanks " IAN " sorting my bike out. It should hopefully now do another 3000+ miles.

After previous less-than-perfect experiences at other Halfords stores I was slightly concerned about visiting this one, but needs musted and I had to get a new starter battery for our narrowboat in short order otherwise we'd have been without power. I am really happy to report that the young man who helped me with my choice in this store obviously really knew his stuff, and quickly advised me on the right ones to look at. All done within about 10 minutes and we were quickly up and running again at home, on the boat.

Great to be greeted with a smile and asked how I may be helped, but very disappointed by customers not abiding to the required Covid-19 restrictions. Hand sanitising stations were clearly established and well stocked and signs stating masked were compulsory were posted, but I noted several people not even bothering with the basics ... also, the excuse of “I’m exempt face coverings” doesn’t wash when you’re wearing tracksuits, chuffing on an e-cigarette or you’ve just propped your bike up against the window). So, coupled with what appeared to staff shortages and only one til in operation, customers were queuing out of the main entrance and restricting the flow of people entering. The staff were doing the best they could, but I felt a Manager should have been on hand. Other than that, fantastic customer service, knowledgeable and well trained staff and a smiling face saying Thank You.

I also visited the MOT department at the same time and had an enquiry about MOT regulations regarding my classic 1954 beach buggy. Again both staff/MOT inspectors were very helpful and answered my query. I also had an online order delivered in two parts recently by their DHL delivery driver, who was also very friendly and polite on both visits!

I visited Halfords last week as I had a warning light appear on my dash, I was shown to a very helpful young man named Liam who I was advised would deal with my issue, upon checking out the light, he told me that my coolant was low and that it could be easily resolved but he also offered me a winter check for just £15.00. Included in this check he noticed that my battery was low and would need replacement soon, glad I didn’t get stuck out in the cold! He also upgraded me to brighter bulbs in my headlights, all my levels were checked and my tyre pressure was brought to the optimum. I feel that this was amazing value for money but also the peace of mind it has instilled in me for winter is something money can’t buy, as a single lady we worry about getting stuck out on the roads or being ripped off by rouge traders, I would advise anyone like myself to spend the £15 and have peace of mind. This was all carried out on a very rainy day which he never complained once and nothing was too much trouble, this is the kind of service that I would expect to pay triple what this lovely young man charged!

He found the bulb and replaced it, whilst doing this i managed to break my key fob. I needed the battery in the key fob replaced anyway and Dan not only replaced the battery but he also glued my key fob back together. I am so grateful for this excellent service, if you go to halfords, ask for Dan!!!!

Fantastic Customer Service On my way to North Wales for New Year I experienced brake fade and realised the brake warning light I'd been ignoring was actually telling me something quite important (doh) ... I pulled off the M54 at Telford and found this place by accident. My car was full of luggage and family so I was frankly desperate ... the managers response COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE HELPFUL!!! They gave me a courtesy car, directions to the local shopping center to kill some time, arranged to get the replacement pads and have them fitted within 3 hours (remember I had no appointment but turned up off the street with a high probability of never going back). Better than his word, I received a call from the manager 2.5 hours later that I could get back in the car and on with my journey. They turned a crisis into a minor inconvenience. Thank you!

With the current situation - covid-19, it's not the same experience as if you were to just walk in and browse at your leisure. I have seen the queues outside the fairly long.
