Mary did a great job repairing my bike after a crash despite being very busy due short staffing. Once the parts arrived which took a while to come in (not the stores fault) the bike was repaired that day and ready to collect. Only had to pay for parts under the cycle care plan and less parts were needed than expected which saved a lot of money. Would definitely recommend for bike repairs and servicing.

A bit rocky at first as bike tech is clearly back of house for a reason (IE he's grumpy!) and I wasn't contacted re what needed doing before doing the work, but Des in store was fantastic, really helpful and sorted out the couple of glitches straight away and without fuss. I turned up rather late one evening to have number plates fitted and Damian very helpfully sorted out the paperwork although the Halford's system had gone down. He even arranged to come in early the following morning to fit them. In fact I beat him to the store in the morning, but the guy who fitted them was very efficient too, although i forgot to ask his name!

The free Winter service offer is a wonderful idea and today I discovered that it provides peace of motoring mind. The technician was very professional and offered good advice on the various checks; bulbs, wiper blades, windscreen, battery, tyres, oil, screen wash and radiator. 30 minutes later with a clean bill of health I was set up for a long drive next week.

I took my car to get a bulb changed and couldn’t have had a more lovely experience. I’m not one to usually review shops, but the service I received from Kathy was so lovely, I thought she really deserved the recognition. I was served super quick and was put at ease, I usually feel really uncomfortable doing these sorts of things as I am really not a car guru! Had a problem with a dash cam mount . Staff really helpful and sorted it within a few minutes. I also needed a new bulb, they found the right replacement one straight away and then fitted it for me even though access is a pain due to it been a camper conversion. Staff always polite and helpful and as a regular bike customer, they've looked after me for many years now. What more do you need!? However, the new system of being put through to an overseas call centre, even if you telephone to book your bike in for some repair work, is a total pain and I'm pretty annoyed about not being able to contact the store direct, especially when the issue is a little more complex than booking it in for a regular service.

Popped in during Lockdown to pick up some servicing consumables, very helpful staff noticed oil prices much more competitive than some National competitors by a significant margin. Went in to purchase my grandson's first bike for his 4th birthday. Team in store were extremely helpful in selecting the bike, and demonstrated not only a great knowledge of the bikes, but also the right selection of accessories to appeal to a four year old and a mischief making grandfather. The siren horn was an inspired choice! The bike technician also completed the build and fitted the accessories within 2 hours, which saved me a 100+ mile round trip to collect the bike. Couldn't be happier, with the product, service and attitude of the staff. I haven't enjoyed myself as much spending money in ages!

I went in (having not ridden a bike in about 15 years) to get kitted out for cycling to work. Chris at the cycling section knew the stock inside and out and was very helpful in making recommendations, and wasn't 'hard-selling' the most expensive items either, which was a really nice touch. Unfortunately some Halfords bikes aren't (currently) available due to stock/shipping issues, but you still can't go wrong with a visit to the Truro branch.

After a particularly poor customer experience at Camborne where they were unhelpful bordering on rude, I decided I wouldn't be spending my money with them and popped across to Truro instead. I dealt with a gentleman on the till called Tom who was really helpful and found a small slot to fit me into relatively quickly (luck of the draw I know, but he manually made the extra slot for me knowing I needed a small amount of time) It was in half an hour so I popped to Malpas with my son for a quick play in the park (it's a great park!). When I got back Tom had Kathy waiting to help me, she was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I was so pleased I made the effort to attend Truro instead of going back to Camborne, it was lovely to be met with staff who actually valued their customers.

If you go to this store make sure you speak to Kathy!!! There is no bull….. just pure straight answers. If Kathy doesn’t know the answer you bet she will obtain the right answer. We were served by lovely Kathy who listened to what I was looking for & guided us thoroughly on what will serve our need, on top of it despite covid she demonstrated the car seat installation into my car which was extremely helpful. Sale items such as the oil I needed was up-front so well thought out. Vehicle entrance/exit a little dodgy in the summer with extra traffic at this store location usually so take extra care on exiting. Great experience.

Just needed a replacement bulb for my car. Was advised to replace both sides (common practice), which I accepted. Work was carried out swiftly and efficiently. Friendly staff...beware, VERY awkward car park that requires a degree in shuttling...and has only one way in and out. One MAJOR problem with this unit as we currently stand in lockdown. I needed something checked on my Volvo S80, after calling to find out whether their mechanics were on duty, the automatic answering choices gave me the option to press 5. 3 days, 9 attempts, 16 minutes of holding for an answer...and NOBODY picks up the phone? Not exactly customer service of the year award.
