Excellent service from Jack at Watford Halfords. Popped by to collect my very large and heavy tool chests.
Jack kindly helped me lift them into the back of the car - I couldn't have done this on my own! He waited until I had finished adjusting the boxes (one in boot and one in back seats) and made sure I was happy and all was ok!

Confused... great service from the technician and cashier but, I got told they see "people in the order they arrive, regardless of if they have an appointment or not". What is the point of having booked an appointment to be seen, if Halfords won't honour it? With emergency oil light flashing on a Bank Holiday- who else to turn to...but Watford Halfords.!
- Was served quickly and the Tiller assigned "Dobs"- quiick/helpful- he noticed part of One issue was a cap had not been replaced properly- hence also low on Coolant and topped up.
Was after- I realised he was towards the end of his shift- as also in Retai (lucky to have this weekend off). l- appreciated his calm manner- and bearing in mind. A Bank Holiday- he served me professionally- think his words were. "rather to solve with a red light now"- .
Servive outstanding. Again- that's why I can trust your store.

I bought a Kustom beach cruiser into the shop that I fixed up over lock down. The crank arm had come of and I didn't have the correct part or tool to fix it. The staff were fairly busy at the time and they still offered to help and fixed my bike on the spot. Peter used the correct part and a professional torque wrench to do the job properly. I found himself and the staff to be very friendly and helpful. You can tell they are enthusiasts and enjoy their job.

Car broke down. RAC advised it was a flat battery. Within 90 minutes I'd been able to buy click & collect and get a new battery fitted at the Watford store. I was even able to get some shopping done while the staff handled everything. I don't think there are enough staff on duty, so the people there were very busy, but they kept all the customers happy.

Excellent experience. Replacement battery for my failing one purchased on line. Had an exact match for my vehicle. This morning I visited the Halfords store in Watford to purchase an Apple CarPlay head unit and also a couple of dash cams. I really was clueless as to what to buy and needed some
help and advice from a member of staff to explain the different models of everything to me. I can honestly say that I was very impressed with the member of staff who helped me. His name was Dom. I really felt that he went above and beyond for me and I just want to give credit where it’s due. I could have been a mystery shopper and he would have passed with flying colours but I wasn’t! :) If you ever need the help and advice from somebody who’s very knowledgeable and has time to answer all your questions, then def ask for Dom!

I’m a wheelchair user and have balance issues, meaning there are certain tasks that are difficult for me to do. I got a new car and needed my plates swapped over. I got them made up and fitted at the Watford branch and was dealt with by a guy called Oryn (or at least that’s what his badge said).
The service I received was exceptional. He was friendly, professional, efficient and made me feel instantly at ease. The plates look great, were fitted perfectly and for a reasonable price. All the other staff I spoke to were very friendly too. I’d highly recommend this branch.

Best experience ever at Halfords last week. Staff were so friendly in offering me to have my headlight fitted using their fitting service. I intended to do it myself, but they were so friendly I thought, what the heck! I was a couple of mins late in returning to the store, and they had just closed for the day, so a friendly member of staff patiently waited for me and let me in to settle and get my key back! really impressed at how calm and understanding they all were. Turned up and booked in. Only one car ahead of me and as, I think it was Chris, was already half way through that car I only had a ten minute wait. He fixed my headlight and then offered to check the rest. In and out very quick. I would probably have had trouble getting the bulb out, breaking the new one, trips again back and forth.... Much easier to let them do it.

Excellent staff and shop, even if you need a 'UK' magnetic car sticker or any car parts (maybe with their assistance for that to be fixed it to your car).
It was my second good experience with halfords (generally, a wiper fixing work in Watford and a low beam bulb replacing in Apsley/Hemel Hempstead) in the recent months. I got an Autoguard warranty with my Infiniti Q30, so I should use the service of this company, however I can do this with confident. Never was any trouble, everytime I was ready to get back to the roads in fifteen-twenty minutes. These guys are professionals, I just can recommend them to anyone. Weldone boys, good job!

Halfords Watford is a large and well maintained store. I went along to discus car roof bars and cycle carriers and not only did they have everything I needed in-store, but also had a fitter immediately available... Actually he was also the guy who gave me advice. Be fitted the parts and explains the use to me very professionally and in a very Covid Safe way. I have used them before for minor parts/accessories and supply and fitting of a Dash Cam so I was expecting good service, however this was exceptional! Highly recommended.

Went to get a new battery. There is an excellent system in place the girl I spoke to checked to see if the battery was in stock and told me how long the wait was to fit it. I sat in my car and a young man came and fitted the new battery. I then went to the store to pay. All the COVID-19 precautions in place made me feel safe and everyone was adhering to them. My car decided to break down in the carpark... I know nothing about cars so imagine the sense of hope that flooded through me when I saw a branch of Halfords in front of me. I went in a asked if anyone could help me.
A wonderful young man (Nadem I think his name was - sorry if my sieve of a brain has remembered that incorrectly) came out to my car and ascertained that my battery was flat and said he would be able to get it going again with a portable battery. He was amazing! Courteous and kind and my Knight in shining amour! He got my car started again and wouldn't even let me pay him for his time and expertise.
If it turns out my car needs a new battery any time soon I know exactly where I will be going to buy it.

I bought a battery and had it fitted. I was amazed to receive two emails saying they had also carried out a free health check. They did not. I was with the car the whole time. Also the second email claimed that I needed to make an urgent appointment to have an MOT done. It is not due for another ten and a half months!

I am an "expert" 12V reviewer with a website and history with Max Power and Fast Car and even Top Gear. I load up my 12V sockets with gadgets. Was just sent a new USB charger to test. Took the current one into the house to compare with new one..left the cables in the car. Like a pillock, I drop the USB plug in the car into the empty socket and hear a brief 'FIZZT' sound. So when I put my GPS speed cam device on the live dashmount, it didn't fire up this morning, proving that I had popped a fuse.
The fuseboxes in my car are in four places! The one under the glovebox comprises two sections. It is a git to get to. It is also transposed and upside down versus the illustration in the manual. Perfect translation but the image is all but useless.
Having done this before and found it a pain, plus driving past it twice every day as wife-chaufeur, I figured I would pull into Halfords.
Bloke who came to help was brilliant. Even with me nagging utter piffle as I misread the book, too,(!) he found the blown fuse in the upside down box and sorted it for me.
Truly, don't struggle if you need a 12V electrician, the Halfords folks know their stuff.
Brilliant customer service and happy punter on his way rapidly.

Fantastic fitting of my front and rear dash cameras, all for a bargain price too. The lady who installed the camera did such a great and thorough job. I can’t see any wires whatsoever, she left my car tidy and everything works seamlessly. The dash cam is great too (Halfords HDC400) with good night vision, audio settings, GPS and is really easy to set-up using the MyHDC app. Couldn’t be more impressed with Halfords Watford for their staff friendliness and knowledge. I am so grateful for being invited to safely sit inside the store out of the rain and wind whilst my dash cameras were fitted, for all colleagues at the store waiting back until my installation was complete 10 minutes after closing and for the generosity of the management for fitting a rear wiper free of charge. Incredible service and an incredible team. Thanks to all at Halfords Watford!

He has a lot of knowledge on bikes, this was the main reason for me ordering my new bike from this particular store.

Not what I expected from a reputed brand name. Booked in free kids bike health check which was hardly used and couple of years old with.The charge for repairs which they gave was £100 which was more than the cost of bike. The only thing it required was replacing one tube and tyre. Absolutely shocking and trying to reap customers

Halfords visit has been been very pleasant. The Watfoord branch is very helpful. I've visited over 10 times and everytime , the cycle engineers are so friendly and helpful. I'd certainly recommend Halfords.

Visited Halfords today to purchase a few cycling items. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and only too pleased to assist. They observed all covid safety procedures and the store looked clean and safe.
Managed to pick up one item as a stocking filler for xmas and was given advice regarding an online only purchase from the Halford website stating if any issues to bring it into store and a refund would be given immediately, so no problems returning items.
Well done Halfords But please restock some items that are missing from you displays, ie 29in Tyres, I noticed quite a few sizes missing, Not a good idea when more and more people are cycling.

Yesterday, I carried my hybrid bike in for rear tyre replacement.I spoke with Dylan who showed me some new road Carrera & Boardman bikes.He was very polite, professional, patient to stay after 8 pm store closing.I will certainly buy my new bike & lock from this gentleman.It is not often that you get consistent excellent customer service in London and that should be rewarded!
My Carrera Axl Ltd bike (and separate lights) was sold by Richard Mosh this February. I had a very positive experience. My bike was built by a competent professional manager Alan.
My bike fit was adjusted by Richard.
He made sure saddle/handlebars were aligned properly. I was very impressed with Richard. He took time to listen, understand and undertake my concerns. He never made me feel rushed, no matter how busy the shop got in the evening. I certainly will come back to that shop to buy more products based on the polite, caring staff that I encountered. I get compliments on my new bicycle often.

Century park store, waterfields, watford - bike repair department - excellent support. Daniel was very knowledgable and checked my sons bike thoroughly. it needed brake replacement front and adjustment for the rear wheel and minor correction.
He had great attention to detail and explained what he was checking and doing every step of the way. He is very knowledgable and even gave good tips of what to look for when my son needs a bigger bike in future.
Customer service and interaction was second to none. I went in without any expectations and left feeling a very satified and happy customer. My son was excited to have his bike back all fixed.

It went there to buy a cheap stereo for my car and was greeted and helped as soon as there was someone, as they were serving others at that time. But as soon as they were free they were friendly and helpful and went out of there way to help me understand what I need to fit it. I spent quite a while trying to fit it only to find out there was no power going to it! I don't know hardly anything about cars and found out that it was burnt fuse causing it not to work under my bonnet! I can't remember all the names but big shout out to Rob who took the time help me find the problem and resolve it. Great customer service from all. God bless and thanks again.
