Great support from the service team when there was initial confusion regarding my appointment. What started off as a potentially disappointing interaction was quickly resolved and an Engineer was at my house resolving the issue within an hour. We were changing all the windows and a double porch door in our house so a big job (for us at least). We spoke with three local companies. All sounded fine but Shane at Herts Glass stood out as the type of person and company we wanted doing the work. His easy going approach coupled with total knowledge and professionalism gave us confidence straight away. That instinct was correct. First, quality: we received expert advice about windows and composite doors available to us at every step of the way, including when we changed our minds to a more modern 'slimline' window frame (REHAU) without any fuss at all from the company. The windows and door quality is incredibly good. Suddenly we have very attractive looking windows and door, much better heat retention and the bit I really notice ... so much quieter in the house. Price was excellent and very competitive. No complaints at all there. This is not a company that will try to overcharge. Installation was undertaken by two fantastic workers, one of whom had clearly been in the business for decades and was a perfectionist, a really skilled fitter. You worry when you spend a lot of money that everything will look right in the end but no worry here. The finish is perfect, everything so neat and precise, a really stunning look and no cutting corners. When we had a couple of very minor things that didn't go to plan like the wrong finish on a door handle (only to do with a supplier issue, not to do with Herts Glass), Shane just calmly took care of it all with a firm promise that was followed up on quickly. He also did a couple of other bits for us as part of the job which he didn't have to. Really could not be happier with using this firm and strongly recommend them if you are getting new windows or doors. Just what you hope for when making a big investment in your property and you want to choose someone very experienced and professional who properly deliver.

Herts Glass installed new windows and front door for us last year and we couldn't be more pleased, especially at winter time:)) Unfortunately, one of micro-ventilation panel was knocked off recently by careless windows cleaner... I contacted Herts and in couple of days they kindly fixed the problem. No hassle; even checked if the rest of the windows are ok. Can't recommend this company enough. Definitely trustworthy. I have used this company for various jobs on my offices and properties. They state they are a small company but this shouldn't cause doubts. They take the work as personal accomplishment and are ABSOLUTE PERFECTIONISTS. I have received 5 star quality, cheaper prices and top quality service from this company. I would not have used them three times unless they were good. I wouldn't use anyone else now. On Friday I had a Scratch removed from some glass on a balcony door, I was expecting the to need replacing but to my suprise Shane was able to remove the scratch for me instead.
