Great for general service parts like oil and filters etc. I bought a brand new alternator from them for it to fail after less than 50 miles. It cost me recovery and a day off work. When telling them this on the phone they told me I would be sorted with some sort of good will gesture on returning it. Upon returning, the manager (York store) was rather rude and told me no one would say such thing (also no one in the store admitted to telling me this) and it's just 'how it is'.

Needed a new car battery as mine had just died. I turned up and they were so helpful and kind, gave me a great price for a new battery and even tried to fit it for me, but didn't have the right spanner so got a garage down the road to fit it for me for free. Couldn't have been more impressed with the kindness and customer service from this place. The person that helped me was called Jimmy, so thank you Jimmy! You made my day!

Ordered a part online, arrived and the computer system had been down and they couldn't process the part. Head office had decided to-do a big update in the middle of the day!! All was good, as the very helpful and friendly staff found it manually and paid cash.

Excellent staff. Knew exactly what I needed. Ordered items, turns out I also needed a brake fitting kit. When I removed old brakes, it was exactly correct. Old retainers were so badly corroded as not usable. I was told by staff it's common and need the kit. Exactly true. Thank you. Saved me a shite load of hassle. Also offer military discount if order and collect in store. Cheaper than Amazon or any other online retailer and hold the majority of parts tou need in store.

Go to their website, reserve what you need and drop in. It's the quickest way of getting what you need for your car and pretty much foolproof in terms of compatibility. Make sure you check against other stores for prices, although euro car parts tend to have a winning deal. Staff were friendly and clearly knew their cars.

Returned a 4 year old bosch battery ( 5 year guarantee)which had suddenly failed, Was given a replacement battery straight away. This is the first time this has ever happened, At other factors it was always "must be something wrong with your alternator" or "we will have to send it away to be tested," never to hear any more. Well done, euro car parts.
