I’ve always had great service here. Popped in today to enquire about a stereo fitting for my boyfriends birthday. They were able to fit it the same day which was brilliant. The staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. It was done within a couple of hours and looks great. I will be back, thank you!

I would highly recommend this service. Everything is explained in an uncomplicated manner and you are given decent options at very fair prices. All investigations and work is carried out promptly. Brilliant experience. They offered me free brake check when I quoted myself for repairing snapped handbrake cable. Kind mechanic came to ask if he can check what's exactly wrong and in a few minutes sorted it for me because the reason was just handbrake handle/button. Indeed it was easy to fix but I was charged £0 and that's very friendly customer approach from Wilco! Before that a year ago I was remaking broken license plate with then and even though it took a while to reattach it to my car, they charged me just advertised price. Thank you, will use your service again in the future if needed.

I would like to specially thank John B for not only being helpful, polite, kind and caring but actually because he went out of his way to put my mind at ease and even took pictures and then checked with the workshop to check that my car was safe to drive me home, suffering from agoraphobia this was a massive important helpful act for me and put my mind at ease as l was in such a panic when l arrived at the shop but cannot thank or recommend John B highly enough for everything he did, l then went back to the store the day after and had my car repaired, more than excellent service !!!!!! rung on Saturday morning about faulty battery, booked me in within one hour, found a weak reading, still had 14 months left on warranty they then fitted a new battery , very helpful staff and the gent who tested and fitted new one was extremely helpful. would highly recommend, i have been going there for years. thank you.

Fabulous service!! Went to look for a bike for my tall 10yr old 1st bike we tried the bloke said its too small, showed us a few other options. Let my daughter sit on them to get a feel for them and offered test ride too. Did a safety check before letting us take it to ensure all works fine. Cant recommend these guys enough

Went there today to sort a slow puncture in my rear nearside tyre. A great team sorted it out in so time at and quite cheaply. I also bought something from the well stocked shop. Nice one although, I have been there before and have always had excellent service.

I left my daughters car at wilko motosave after it was recovered in the middle of the night by the RAC. The mechanics were extremely helpful and friendly after a nightmare experience the previous night. It turned out to need a new starter motor, the price quoted was at the lower end of what I know to be an average cost for this repair, and they even repaired 3 slow punctures while it was in. The work was completed by lunchtime the same day. Will definately be using wilko for all our MOTs and servicing in the future. Thank you so much for the fast, efficient and reasonably priced service.

Absolutely lovely place. Brought my Corsa in today after struggling to get it to accelerate. Fit me in nice and quickly despite being down to one engineer on a busy day! They even gave me advice on what to do about the bad service which caused the problem! Lovely gents. Can't fault them and their customer service skills. Will be going back!

Bit weird. Just tried to book my car in for a service but was told they don't take bookings more than two weeks in advance (the date I wanted was 13 days away). Must be so busy they don't need the business. Or something's happening in two weeks that isn't public yet. Very odd as I've used them for years with no problems. Edit: Called in person, booked car in, all serviced/MOT done to the usual great standard so changed to a 5 star review. Must've been a glitch (or the trainee on the phone when I called).

Went for a new tyre they told me i had problem with exhaust as too low and it caught on their ramp? I had custom exhaust made to fit my wheel chair adapted car 5 months ago. It has never caught on ivasons ramps ? And they told me brakes needed doing and after discount it would be £200.... I went to my normal garage ivasons and it was a lot lot less hence the 4 stars not 5

Been taking both vehicles past 2 years overall been good . But last time they broke my key gave me a blank key told me to get cut bring in and they will pay . Took in receipt guy who said this has left . They put new clutch in my race 4 after this abs light was on again guy has left who said fix this. In again for mot . All going well picked some one up from shop drove to my house fuel light on gave him 10 pounds to put some diesel in NXT thing had phone call did not start no fuel missed mot retest slot not happy

I needed a windscreen wiper and the guy there fitted it for me for £2 extra. This shop is on the Malton Road leaving York - it's not overly large and the car park is a bit on the small side but they have a large selection of car bits and bobs.

Had a flat tyre in my Ford Mondeo. Rang Motosave, York and they said bring it in we'll check it out today. 15 minutes after arrival all sorted wheel put back into shape and all for an amazing £15! Staff are always helpful in the York Motosave store. Highly recommend them.

I visited today when my kia sportage had a problem with not getting past 3000 revs they hooked it up to diagnostic machine and it came back with 4 faults the guys were absolutely brilliant rather than go down the most expensive route the suggested starting with a bottle of additives and suggested oil filter so I gave them the go ahead they did the job promptly and kept me informed all the way they resolved the problem and gave me some good advice which I appreciated Thanks Paul
