Popped in the garage as I was concerned for my car's brakes. The friendly chap explained to me that my brakes were fine as they were tested on the roller. Despite all this, they didn't take any fee for the service. Even made me a coffee as I was waiting for some news. Would visit again! :)

Car was in for new tyres and for locking wheel nuts to be removed. The price for everything was reasonable and there were no hidden charges. Also the cat was ready by the time they said. I found the staff to be friendly And helpful

Went to check alignment and even without booking inspected my car straight away. After an hour and half of worry and thinking of costs they handed the car back and explained what they done. Waited for dreaded bill but they did not charge me. Very attentive to work, very knowledgable and will definitely be back. Great treatment and will be a returning customer for sure. We had a slow puncture on one tyre and went in without an appointment, they were able to locate the problem but the tyre could not be repaired, during this they checked the other tyres and found we required another one as the tread was worn down. The price for 2 replacement tyres was very reasonable so we asked them to order them in and we returned a couple of hours later to get them fitted, the work was carried out as well as switching one of the front wheels to the rear so that the 2 new tyres were on the front and we were back on the road in no time at all, we had a trip to Edinburgh in front of us and was pleasantly surprised at the lack of road noise compared to the previous tyres. I would recommend Laws Tyres to anyone looking for new tyres and will be a repeat customer from now on. Thanks for the great service guys.

Excellent service, I had booked through a third party but the staff were brilliant and my car was in and out very quickly with my new tyres fitted. The waiting area was comfortable, warm and dry with coffee available and toilet facilities. I would happily recommend them to friends for service.

I have had vibration arround 70mph, after going through several garages issue was still not resolved and costed a fortune which was very frustrating. Michael at Laws was able to identify and rectify the issue and I got genuine and honest service which is very hard to find these days. Thanks Michael and team !

Fantastic service again. I ended up with a bad puncture, although arriving with the AA in convoy just as they were closing up for the day, the guys agreed to stay on to get me sorted and back on the road. Pricing, as usual, was spot on. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

I would just like to say a massive thankyou to Mike and Brandon for repairing my tyre on the 19th Sept 2019 at Altens. Mike was super professional and kept me informed at every stage. I would only trust Laws Tyres for my Audi A1, and my alloy was spotless after the work too! Well Done Guys! Once again I called in to Laws Tyres Altens, I picked up an unusual bolt in the rear tyre drivers side of my MB GLA200 on the 20th October 2020. I was not happy, but after speaking to Michael Bell (Manager) he said if I could send a picture he could assess whether a repair or replacement was required. Sure enough, Mike got back to me within 5 mins and said if I could come in, it would be taken care of, repair only. I was so happy, David was the fitter and did a fantastic job. Alloys are totally unmarked. Laws Tyres is the only place I’d go. Well Done Guys!! Again!

I had a slow leak in my rear tyre. I've always gone to Law's so I popped into the Altens branch on spec on a Saturday afternoon. With no fuss, they quickly determined that it was a screw in the tyre, in an area that could be repaired, and did so, saving me what would have been a small fortune compared with a new tyre.

Been using Laws at for years. Today i had 2 wheels balanced and was charged an incredible £24 for the priveledge! Equivalent service at the likes of Tawse and mobile fitter is about £4 less per wheel! Add to that i supplied the wheels off the car and loose. Also a VAST amount of weights fitted...surely if the wheel was that much out of balance the correct thing to do would be deflate the tyre and spin it about the rim? Then i could understand the cost. Not particularly happy. I will point out when i had tyres fitted last year TPMS wasn't even reset. Don't think i'll be back.

I had to have a tyre replaced so booked in via Blackcircles and dropped the car in with the loose wheel in the boot, tyre already removed. The price was great and the whole process was pretty flawless but despite the handbook, door plate and my own post-it note all saying that the tyre should be set to 26psi, when I collected the car and checked the pressure that night it was over 45+ psi and the car was driving terribly. I could kind of live with that as I maintain my car well and noticed it and these things can happen... but for some inexplicable reason the other rear tyre was also way up at 45+ psi. That tyre shouldn't even have been touched, it wasn't part of the job I was booked in for and I know that it was set to 26psi only a day or two earlier, I did it myself. Really not very impressed by this at all. It's not even a careless mistake, as they changed the other pressure too and I have no idea why and it wasn't mentioned to me that they'd changed it. I should have stuck to my original plan and kept hold of the car and dropped the loose wheel in on its own and re-fitted the wheel myself after work. This spoiled what was otherwise a very easy, quick and good value process. I'll have to think twice about using Laws again.

My locking wheel nut key broke and couldn’t get the nut off. Laws Tires removed the nut and even change the wheel over me completely free of charge! Great company with great customer service. Couldn’t recommend more

Laws Tyres are highly recommended. Went to Kwik Fit on Market St and they told me tyre unrepairable. Then they tried to sell me two tyres for rear. Got suspicious and went to Laws. Turns out tyre is repairable, and my front two tyres are a month from legal limit. Kwik fit lied to me and risked my safety - no mention of wear on front. Bandits- go to Laws for an honest service.

Wow My first time here In and out in 10 min All was needed is a valve after kwikfit changed my tyre Originally I changed the tyre at kwikfit Aberdeen and Nearly bought a new alloy because kwikfit said they don't know where the air is leaking from and the only problem may be the refurbished crack, Well impressed Very much recommended Thanks guys
