Usually pretty good. was one of the last places locally I trusted, but either on the ramp or out on the test drive the lower arm mount on the subframe has been hit. recently replaced all hardware and restored the subframe so disappointing to see.

This morning I called up in need of a new battery. Tali, who is always so helpful and efficient, fitted me in at 11.30am. They had a new battery installed in no time, and Tali had them check my tyre pressures and he refilled the screen wash, without me asking. All the men were so polite and friendly, and Tali sets a great example.

I visited on Sunday 18th September After noticing a bolt in my tyre. Kwik Fit Aberystwyth was my only option being open on a Sunday which is a massive plus to start with. The member of staff I dealt with at the store was extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. The service was quick and efficient even though I was unable to book online, I was booked in with no problem for the earliest slot. I was told all the details up front including price and other options and was even offered a sit and wait service. everything was explained well and the whole experience was excellent thanks to the helpful friendly nature of the gentleman I dealt with

Convenient location close to shopping area for Lidl, home bargain, Iceland, pets at home and more. Also, the walk to the town centre is not far if you want to venture out while your car is being worked on as Kwikfit. Staff are friendly and helpful. I only stopped by for a tyre pressure and condition check, all was sorted very quickly. I would say the garage is accessible as it is on ground level with no ramps/steps to access the garage or reception. I am happy with the service I received and consider this branch my local go-to for future services on both my vehicles.

Took my car in today for an MOT and service. Mike called me at lunch to advise the MOT had passed but a few things needed attention during the service. They were quick and efficient and did the work in the time promised. Reasonably priced also. The detailed reports I received were really helpful to see what they had actually done to my vehicle. I took my wife's car into the Aberystwyth branch with brake issues without making an appointment. Assistant manager was extremely helpful and ordered the parts there and then. Even though they were extremely busy he still said he could fix it the same day, as I was desperate to get the car back quickly. I took the car back in the afternoon once all the parts were delivered, and all the work was completed in around 90 minutes. I've used this branch quite a few times over the last few years for repairs, tyres and MOT's, and they've always been very helpful and friendly.

Popped in on the off chance on bank holiday Monday that they could fix a door trim on my discovery, that had become detached, and I didn’t want to drive the 2 hours back home with it hanging off. I had a puncture in a tyre about 20 miles from Aberystwyth, and managed to make it to Kwik fit. As I arrived I didn't have the release tool for a ford transit but the guys were help full enough and very efficient to work together to release the spare tyre and fit it very quickly. I drove in this afternoon to seek help regarding a broken engine protector plate that had broken off the undercarriage and was scraping along the ground. Super service from Aberystwyth Kwik Fit October, 2020. Noticed very soft front tyre on my Corsa. Had the car up on a ramp after just a short wait. Tyre removed and inspected. Visual/pressure check on the rest and advised accordingly. It was a Friday afternoon. They could have easily sold me a new tyre but, on this occasion, there was no need. Thanks.

Hello all, I took my fiance to Aberystwyth for her birthday as its her favourite place in the 🌎, all good then on Sunday morning we headed of home for the euro final and there was a scraping noise on my wheel i found that my break caliper had come apart so panic set in. I normally avoid kwik fit, but my last MOT may have changed my mind. Much better than all previous experiences, phoned me as soon as any issues arose. Were happy for me to carry out my own repairs and return for a retest. Only small issue was getting charged for a full MOT not a part MOT, then mental arithmetic failures when working out money owed.

I've owned my Skoda Fabia from new and it's always been dealer serviced. The dealership recently closed which left me with a problem, where to get service for my, now 12 year old, car. The car is in 'as new' condition so I was a little nervous as where to have new brake pads fitted, would another garage do such a nice job or take such care as the dealer did? my fears were groundless, Kwik Fit made a really good job of the work, very pleased with the depot at Aberystwyth.

Had my tracking done at a different centre, part of the deal was that you could get it rechecked in 30 days. Aber were happy to check and readjust no questions asked even though it was a different centre. They weren't the best at getting my car onto the ramp. Stalled it quite a few times. It has been lowered but it is not that low. Still you'd rather them be cautious than just whizz it up onto the ramp without any regard!

Not such a Kwik Fit... Booked in for 4 tyres to be changed and wheel alignment at 11:00, car not moved into garage until 11:20 and first wheel not removed until 11:36! I also had the privilege of paying an extra £10 to book the 11:00 slot for 'express fitting'! Finally completed at 12:10. Customers turning up off the street were getting quoted a wait of 3+ hours before their vehicles could even be looked at. The only upsides are the free hot drinks available in the waiting room/reception and that is the price is comparable or cheaper to other local tyre fitters.

If you have plenty of time on you're hands and need need time to kill and need you're tyres changed. I highlly recommend Kwik fit. When my veichle was booked in at 10am. It only took an hour and 40 mins to change 2 tyres. So highly recommend if you want to sit around waiting. I'm just lucky I didn't need more than 2. Otherwise I'd have been asking for my lunch or even a pillow for the evening judging on the time they took to do 2 tyres.

Ordered 4 new tyres online and opted for the Hunter Hawkeye tracking and adjustment. Tyres were competitively priced but by far not the cheapest. Black Circles were cheaper but it was the advanced tracking that got me to opt for Kwik Fit. When dropping my car off I parked in one of the bays and checked in. I was told it would be about an hour and that was it; no confirmation of what I'd ordered or anything. An hour later I returned to an empty reception building and made myself a complimentary cup of tea (a nice and much appreciated touch). After a couple of minutes a mechanic came in to assure me that my car "won't be much longer", I thanked him and he walked out again. I then noticed the TV screen above the desk which mirrored the computer running the Hawkeye software, which my car was just about to have done. I saw the mechanic input my car's details but he had entered the later model of my vehicle (which has a different specification to mine) and was about to begin. It was only after I had stopped a staff member and alerted them of their error that they acknowledged their mistake and happily adjusted the software to reflect my model. The tracking would've been all wrong had I not let them know and I would've wasted almost £50. The actual tracking took about 45 minutes, this was on top of the initial hour I was quoted. Once finished, I had to sign a couple of forms and I was on my way. I was not informed about what had actually been done during the tracking, which is contrary to what I had heard from other people; they were given a printout of the car before and after tracking and an explanation as to what had been done. I was also not informed about the importance of re-torquing after getting wheel work done (apart from a small notice in the window), this was surprising. The entire visit just felt like I was being rushed, which is ironic seeing as it almost took double the time I was initially given. All this being said, however, I definitely notice a difference in the ride smoothness and cornering of my vehicle. The new tyres were also quite good value and I enjoyed the free unlimited tea and coffee. Only time will tell if the Hawkeye is noticeably better than a less advanced tracking and alignment method but in future I don't think I'll bother. Tyre price will definitely be the deciding factor next time they need replacing.

i use kwikfit in aberystwyth regular,on this visit i purchased a battery online there was a bit of a complication with the website stating the battery purchased would fit my car but when i turned up it didnt , the manager went out of his way to help and get me another battery asap and was there the next day cant fault them for that, just double check in store before you purchase batteries online.will continue to use kwikfit in the future exellent service from the manager also remained proffesional even when i came across quite annoyed. top man
