completed the job on time and with a good price and friendly staff team and without having to book in advance (I had 2 punctures withing 3 days that you fixed). You have lost one star as on the three separate occasions I have tried to ring you I have ended up calling about 6 times as your phones cut out after a dozen rings and no one answers. Sometimes I have given up phoning at all and just come round to your garage - the trouble is, that's no good if you don't live within walking distance.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful a fault was found which caused an MOT failure the problem was resolved very next morning and retest completed I was given a rough estimate of cost parts ordered immediately and fitted as I said very next morning and the cost was as estimated and very very reasonable...I was very impressed with the lad I dealt with I came home and booked my service on line.. i have always found staff very kind and considerate. i've used kwik fit, barrow-in-furness since i've owned my own car. the only problem i've had is covid - i have always enjoyed a coffee while waiting - just bring back the brews and everything will be perfect again! on a serious note, i couldn't trust any other garage like i do the guys at kwik fit - they always explain things and give options (when available/possible) . I would recommend them to anyone - whether you're worried about strange noises, you know what it's like to hit that stupid pot hole again and there's that awful noise that doesn't go away.... you're not sure if your tyres are still legal - just pop down and see the guys. i've always found them to be honest and very professional.

I brought in a Landcruiser. The spare wheel was under pressure and I couldn't reach it as it was upside down under the car I took it in and kwik Fit dropped spare wheel, inflated it, inflated all the others to spec, and returned the car They wouldn't accept payment, which amazed me and I was really grateful. Engine corner under the car came loose and started scraping the road on the motorway. Got the car till Kwik Fit somehow, the car was essentially undrivable. Keith made it look super simple and got it fixed within a few hours even though I didn't have any kind of appointment, and also didn't charge a penny for it. Definitely coming back to you guys for my next servicing.

Branded formality. Can only provide Michelin for 150 quid and must book a slot 5 hours later. "Come back at 3:30." I walked out and called a small place and got a budget tyre for 79 fitted within an hour. "It is a safe tyre," the Little Tyre lady assured me.

I had an emergency with my tyres. Kwik fit replaced two tyres that had to be written off. I cannot fault the work. However, I asked for budget tyres but they only had high end, possibly because it was near the end of the day. I was quoted a price of over £400 for two which think is ridiculous. They gave me discount and it came down to £329. Still too high for my budget, but I was stuck. I am disappointed with the poor choice and value for money.

I phoned to book my car in on Saturday for a puncture repair. I spoke to a member of staff who confirmed I was booked in for 12 noon. Unfortunately when I arrived the booking was not on the system. I was dealt with by a member of staff named Ricardo. Ricardo apologised for the error and booked me in for the next slot. I explained I needed to drop my Son off at Walney but was concerned about the air in my tyre. Ricardo assured me it would be ok and offered to top the air up in the tyre. On my return Ricardo repaired the puncture and once again apologised for my wait. I was very impressed with the fantastic customer service I received from Ricardo, he was a very polite, well mannered young man and an asset to the company.

Had a traumatic crash when pushed off a country lane by a thoughtless driver. Thankfully only had a puncture. Jordan efficiently located and ordered a special 22 low profile tyre for the Range Rover (late on a Sunday afternoon) and it arrived early the next morning. Chris was knowledgeable and efficient when fitting the replacement tyre to the RR, knew that the suspension had to be raised and not to lower too quickly else the airbags would activate. It was completed quickly without fuss and we were on our way back to London. Many thanks.

Brilliant, immediate service from Keith and Andy earlier today. New tyre required for trip back home to Stockport from Barrow-in-Furness and I just dropped in on the off chance, didn't fancy travelling the 110+ miles at 50mph on my spare.

Ordered 2 x tyres online and booked appointment to have them fitted. Car went in on time and Lee and Keith couldn’t have done more. It transpired that the previous garage I had taken it to for a service had neglected to replace the locking wheel nut on one of the year tyres and also therefore had not replaced my locking wheel nut key. This wasn’t an issue as kiwk fit had a tool to remove locking wheel nuts so were able to replace my front tyres as planned. The guys went above and beyond when I returned from the previous garage with a set of new locking wheel nuts and swapped out the old ones ones and replaced them with the new ones at no cost, thank you so much, I will not hesitate to use you in the future 😊

had tyres checked as i knew they were getting close. was advised one needing replacing, one close and the other two OK. Went away to price up and although not the cheapest (£2 difference per tyre - Scorpion Verde) used Kwik-Fit as they have four wheel alignment equipment, brought and booked online. This proved a very good choice as front wheels were pointing to the left and rear were both pointing in, just a shame that i couldnt have paid for the 2yr warranty on alignment work from their webpage. However the guys at Barrow looked after all that and ensured i was fully covered.

Last Tuesday I was in Barrow and needed some air in my motorbike tyres. I went into the Shell garage and all the pump there succeeded in doing was almost completely deflating my tyre! I was told Kwik Fit was very close so made my way there. Even though it was before 8.00 and it opens at 08.30, there was somewhere there (Lee) who very kindly opened up early, got my tyre pressures spot on, which allowed me to continue my journey for the day without too much delay. Took a while to fit two tyres and then do a "FREE" wheel alignment check, the check discovered that my alignment was out, [even though the front tyres had done 23000 miles without becoming illegal], and they wanted £30 to put a spanner on a nut ant turn it quarter of a turn. I was on holiday from the Isle of Man and found a screw in a tyre. They checked it , took it out , put water on the area and confirmed it had not penetrated too deep and I could drive on it. Great ! A good service. Didn't try to repair it unnecessarily or suggest I bought a new tyre. 😀

Recently had a tyre valve fail (snap in two) on my 1 year old Kia C'eed Pro GT, Kwik Fit Barrow informed me that I would have to take it back to Kia to get it fixed due to the special pressure sensor valves only being stocked by Kia themselves. However, Kwik Fit Barrow put a normal valve in the tyre to allow me to drive the car untill I am able to get the car to my local Kia for a repair under the warranty. They did the work within 10mins and due to me being unable to collect the car at the time they stored it in the garage over night securely locked away. When I collected the car the next day I was happily surprised to find out that Kwik Fit Barrow had done the repair free of charge as a good will customer gesture due to my unfortunate valve failure. I am therefore highly impressed with the work carried out on my car and would highly recommend Kwik Fit Barrow to anyone local.

Tyre places very seldom possess the sort of character and charm that this particular establishment has. Often I face the dilemma where I just cannot find the right tyre, no matter how hard I try. This often results in me having to man-handle tractor tyres about 10 miles to my grandmother's house (she collects tyres) because she's very fussy about her tyres. She even has her living room full of them. When I bought four tractor tyres from here on a fine Tuesday afternoon it was very easy to collect them and it wasn't too far away from my Grandmother's house. The chap who sold them to me even gift-wrapped them in such a way that my Grandmother could only have guessed they were biscuit tins.
