Kevin and the team at Protek have done a perfect job on my Honda S2000. A van reversed into me in a car park and crumpled the front wing and bumper. Protek replaced it all with new OEM parts and resprayed in pearl white - I can't believe how good the paint match is and panels / bumper all aligned perfectly. It now looks as good as new. Good body work is a fine art - thanks Protek!

Kevin and the team came to the rescue after a non fault accident in my BMW M4. The team were professional and communicative whilst delivering a truly exceptional, world class, standard of repair, with unsurpassed attention to detail. The car was with them for almost one month, and they arranged to have the car re-ceramic coated by Ron at Autobath Detailing to bring it back to show room condition. Wow! Post repair I had a couple of niggles, which Kevin and the team took ownership of, followed up on, and liaised with my insurance to rectify. What a team, a truly relationship led business. For anyone out there involved in a non fault accident or require any type of maintenance on their vehicle, regardless of type of car, I would urge you to go straight to Kevin at Protek and avoid the substandard franchise dealership paint shops. Protek have a customer for life! And I cannot recommend them enough to look after your pride and joy.

Had the front lower bumper splitter repaired and painted as well as my wheels refurbished and painted. Very happy with the quality and the finished results. Kevin was my point of contact and was very knowledgeable and I felt they were more than capable of doing what I needed. UPDATE - Had issues with my alloy wheels which I felt was not normal wear and tear and after emailing them photos I was fobbed off. Having used Protek for a repair on a previous vehicle it was a no brainer on who to use on a recent purchase which had a poor repair to the nearside wing, additionally the wheels required refurbished so nice and handy getting them completed there too. All work carried out was first class and would highly recommend Kevin and the team at Protek.

I found Protek through social media and various car forums and everyone who recommended them couldn’t speak more highly of their experience with the company. After consulting with Kevin, I booked my Clio in with them for a bit of rust treatment and bodywork. From the initial consultation to the day I picked the car up, the team were fantastic. I was kept informed, updated and if extra work was needed, it would be discussed before giving the go ahead. I was genuinely blown away with the finished result. All dents, dings and chips had been sorted and the rot was cut and replaced with new metal. The paint match is spot on and the finish is second to none. You wouldn’t know the car has had paint! I can’t speak highly enough of the team at Protek. Kevin is fantastic and answered my many emails and queries. The work speaks for itself and you only have to look at the Protek social media pages to see why they get so many returning customers and high end cars. The price was extremely reasonable too. In short, there’s no place else I’ll be sending my cars for future bodywork issues. A fantastic bodyshop with a down to earth team and prices that don’t break the bank. I highly recommend anyone looking for any sort of bodywork to give Protek a call or email as you will be looked after very well.

I took my car here after a botched repair on my car. From start to finish the whole experience was amazing! He explained the work that would need carried out to restore my car back to its original condition. I would highly recommend Kevin and all the team at Protek. I have an Audi S5 and there was a scrape along the length of the near side of the car. I initially took it to another garage in Edinburgh and unfortunately they did a very poor job of repairing the car. I’ve just had the car back from Protek and the finish on the repair is first class. This was the second time I have trusted my car with Kevin and the guys at Protek. First time was to colour code a roll cage and the second time was to repaint a set of wheels before they were put on the car. The wheels were dropped off on Monday evening and collected on Friday morning and were absolutely perfectly done. The wheels were painted in a manufacturer satin paint code and the execution was spot on, as good, if not better than factory finish. I would highly recommend Protek for any job, big or small.

Spent several months looking for a body shop and getting many quotes to repair some minor rust on a couple of panels due to ‘road rash’ stone chips. After a recommendation for Protek I booked an appointment for a quote. Straight away I received a very professional and personal experience from Kevin who was happy to answer all my questions and left me feeling confident in their abilities. Quote came through the next day, price was reasonable and in line with the quality of their work which was evident from their previous projects and reviews. After they started the work Kevin called to say extra work they had quoted for wasn’t required and gave me the option of saving some money (without impacting the quality of finish based on their high standards) or going with what was originally planned. Collected the car slightly earlier than expected and I’m very pleased with the quality, my car is now as good as new. Possibly able to get it slightly cheaper elsewhere but I’m doubtful that the quality of the service and the work would be at the same high standards as Protek.

After contacting a number of bodyshops across central Scotland and reading a number of reviews I chose Protek to fix a small stone chip on the driver side rear panel of my Jaguar F-Type. After a severe non fault accident I took my car to Protek in Bathgate, their approach and professionalism really helped at a stressful time for me. My car required the full offside repaired and painted, when the car was returned it was to factory finish and an extremely high standard. For anybody who is unfortunate enough to have an accident should count themselves fortunate that places like Protek exist, restored my pride and joy!.

My car had a small dent which had been fixed however the dealership (Reg Vardy) had failed to finish the job and it needed polished. I visited Protek today for some advice and a cost to fix. The customer service was really positive. The treatment I received and the whole experience was gold standard. The unsightly and unfinished mark was checked and fixed within 5 mins, the whole process was quick and done without costing me a penny 🤗 I don’t normally leave feedback but felt the service was exceptional and removed a huge burden. Without doubt the best in business! As a vehicle detailer I'am considerably fussier than the average car owner, and have found it incredibly difficult over the years to find a painter who can turn out a quality of finish that I'am happy with! However after detailing a number of cars which had had previous paint repairs by Protek and being unable to pick any faults I decided to trust them with my own car, an 18 year old Mondeo ST200 which is not worth a great deal of money, however it is my pride and joy, this car was treated with the same care and attention to detail as every other car that Protek work on, an impeccable paint finish, which matches the remaining factory original paintwork on the car, and not a single trace of overspray! I was recommended to these guys by Richard at RGK detailing, so my thanks to Richard for doing so and putting a customers best interests first. I’m unhealthily particular about my car, so the thought of taking it to a paint shop for repair scares the life out of me, in this day and age of volume processing of insurance work through paint shops. Anyhow, the lads at Protek clearly understand that there’s a market out there for quality over quantity and appear to have built a solid reputation on this. Richard at RGK was one of two detailers who recommended Protek and when you start to do your homework, you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone out there who doesn’t thoroughly recommend them. Well I’m about to do the same, only because I value the fact that it’s a rare thing these days to have your expectations exceeded. When I took my car in for a quote I was immediately welcomed by the owner (who’s name unfortunately escapes me) who looked over the areas I wanted repaired. Now to be clear, 90% of people wouldn’t even know or see what was wrong with my car - a previous typical paint repair (not under my ownership) which was a slight off shade, a rippled clear coat and a few other paint prep related defects. Now you can tell in a conversation whether someone is on the same page as you with respect to a standard of work, and very quickly I was convinced that these guys are used to working with pernickity folk like me and from what I could tell, appear to welcome the challenge. This is clearly backed up by the odd Lamborghini, Porsche or Lotus dotted around the place, as well as your typical day to day shopping carts and daily drivers. Long story short, my car was booked in and repaired 4 weeks later. I dealt with Kevin through the process who was professional at every stage. So the car itself, well the paint finish is flawless and the paint match perfect - a hard thing to do well on a red car. I was shown pictures of the prep work that was performed, clearly showing that no shortcuts were taken, all leading to a repair that is equally as good as the manufacturers (Porsche), i.e. it’s a perfect match and undetectable even under close scrutiny. My sincere thanks to Protek for putting my baby right. To anyone reading this as I did when looking for a reputable repairer, you will not be disappointed in the standard of work leaving this garage and will probably have a laugh when you meet the owner and his team. They remind me of Kindig Customs, a Kindig Customs of the UK if you will, for all you sad folk like me that like to watch that show on the telly. Cheers.

Bought a used mustang, and the previous owner had removed an aftermarket spoiler. On the whole the repairs to the bootlid didn’t look too bad, colour match was good, but underneath you could see the tape line where they were lazy, and it wasn’t clear coated. Took the car to protek to have the bootlid repainted, race red isn’t easy to repair but the colour match is spot on, texture matches the factory paint, no horrible lazy tape lines anymore and the work was done to an extremely high standard. The manager looks like Eddie Redmayne but luckily doesn’t try to sing les miserable to you.. well maybe if you asked nicely. 100% you should take your car here
