Have had two vans in so far, and the lads were great - giving me sound advice and even offering contacts for where I could get my old van scrapped when she gave up the ghost. I rang this morning for an emergency check of suspension (post-kerbing), was asked to bring the car, and after less than 30 minutes from the initial call I had a full diagnosis and a (very reasonable) quote for the repair. After my car failed MOT due to a headlight issue, I rang these guys in a panic hoping to have it sorted before my retest. They fitted me in within 2 days and wanted to have a look at the car to understand the root cause. They rang back explaining why I would need a new headlight and the breakdown of costs/materials/labour which I agreed to. Unfortunately the issue with my car ran deeper and they rang back to explain it would need to go to a proper body shop due to a bad repair job from a previous owner. They were apologetic they couldn’t fix it but I understood. I went down and tried to give them money for their time and labour and they wouldn’t take it off me. Honestly, so friendly and understanding. I will definitely bring my car to them if it has any more issues in the future. Highly recommend!

After a period of an annoying worrying rattle from an unknown source, I left my car with Sterretts to check it out. Thinking the worst and possibly a big fee to have it fixed, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Gareth a few hours later to say my car was fixed, ready to be collected and there was no charge. Can't thank Sterrett’s auto centre enough!!! It has to be my lucky day today. First I had been timely warned by a gentleman in another car for a flat tyre of my car just before I prepared to drive to an A road. Secondly, I luckily found that the nearest garage was Sterrett’s auto centre just within 1 mile. The manger was so kind to help despite their already fully packed workload on the day. Ryan, the mechanic, was very professional and skillful. It turned out that a screw punctured into my type but Ryan managed to fix it. Eventually, the manger (Gareth I think) even didn't charge me a dime. I couldn't believe it! Thank you Sterrett’s auto centre !!! You are definitely the kindest garage I've ever seen so far in the last 20 years.

I couldn't recommend Sterretts highly enough. Left my car in for some repairs on the gearbox and within an hour I had a call back from Gareth to say they had identified the fault and a plan for how to fix it aswell as a quote for the work which was more than reasonable. After initially authorising the works, i had a change of heart (through no fault of the business!) so i called Gareth back and asked to postpone the work. Gareth was the ultimate professional, understanding my position and providing some great advice along the way. Although i decided not to go ahead with the repairs (again through no fault of the business) when it came to collecting the car i was fully expecting to at least pay for their tine. However to my surprise when I collected the car Gareth told me there was no charge, extremely unexpected considering the hard time for local businesses right now and the hassle i put them through as a customer. The customer service from this place is impeccable and I wouldn't hesitate in bringing my car back for work in the future. I would highly recommend the business to others.

Gareth and the team took the time to reproduce the suspension issue I described to them. The source of the problem was accurately diagnosed and fixed and I enjoyed a quiet, comfortable drive home. The car also was due new brake pads/discs so the guys sorted that out for a good price and discussed billing clearly before work commenced. I really cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic, friendly and swift service from the initial phone call straight to getting car issue resolved. Customer service was top tier and they went above and beyond. Had been served by Gareth. My car had developed a fault with left headlight and took to Halfords thinking it was a simple bulb replacement, turns out the cap was missing and some of the wires had started to corrode. Gareth and the team at Sterrett's Auto sorted out the issue quickly, and at an affordable price. They went further and even fixed a wiring issue with the interior light. Would highly recommend !

A refreshingly pleasant and painless trip to the garage! Needed a stamped service to keep the manufacturer's warranty intact. Called in and spoke to a really friendly fella (didn't get his name), who booked me in for later that week. On the day, however, I needed to pick my kid up from school at noon and couldn't make alternative arrangements, so, rather than having to re-book, the same fella worked it so as my car would be serviced and ready to go by 11.30 – and it was, amazingly. Great service, personable staff & reasonably priced. Will definitely be back (and maybe I'll take up the offer of a cup of tea!).

Great, friendly service and extremely quick and thorough. I don't know much about cars but could immediately tell the difference driving it (Meganne) after having it fixed and serviced here. I had a great experience at this work shop. I believe I dealt solely with Gareth, the manager, a very friendly and approachable man. My car only needed an annual service but I had a list of things that I also wanted checked out too. I received a call at 9.30 and was told what the car needed, it's great that you know what to expect beforehand, and another call at just after midday to let me know that the work was finished. Great communication throughout. Although I'm no expert, from what I can tell all work has been done to an excellent standard and no matter what ever happens to my car, I'd feel totally confident bringing it to Sterrett's. Not being local to Belfast myself, I think a decent mechanics is one thing you need to be prepared to travel for and I can say with complete certainty that I will be re-visiting this one

I've been a customer for about 15years, having been recommended by a friend. It breaks my heart to part with money, but my car won't fix itself. I find Sterretts to be very friendly, they know my car well, and they are very good mechanics. The one time I didn't follow Charlie's recommendation it ended up costing me nearly £1000 (I was trying to save money by putting off getting timing belt done. Not something I will do again). Occasionally someone will say - "Oh - I could have got that done for less", but they're talking about "mates rates" from a personal friend of theirs, who isn't going to do the same price for me. Sterretts is very convenient for me, their service is good, and the prices are as good as I've found anywhere.

Who do you call for a puncture during lockdown? Sterrets! I'm an essential worker and need my car for work. Excellent Service delivered by courteous workers. My husband always uses Sterretts Auto Centre when requiring work to be carried out to his car. From the first time he went into the garage to have a puncture repaired, he raved about how welcoming the staff were particularly the owner Charlie and manager Gareth. He has continued to use this garage on several occasions since then and has received a first class service. He has also taken my car to them and has been impressed with the professionalism of the garage and value for money that they give. A few weeks ago I had to take my car to Sterretts myself, a daunting task for me, as being a typical female driver ...."don't want to know about the car". I have to say it turned out to be a stress free experience, one of the drivers took my car to park, I told them what was wrong, went home and they phoned me in a matter of hours to advise what the problem was , how much it would cost to fix and that if I wanted them to go ahead it would be ready for collection that day. I returned later that afternoon to pick the car up, the mechanic drove it onto the main road for me to drive away. A painless task overall, I have 100% confidence in this garage and would have no hestitation in recommending it to other drivers and will continue to use this establishment.

Got my car serviced about a month ago and finally gotten it through the MOT TEST. was really happy with the work at the time but wanted to make sure it got through MOT ok which it did with no faults at all. Communication was brilliant. As soon as i dropped off the car they let me know they had an issue from the day before which pushed them back so it may be the next day. On calling the next day they let me know they were still behind but if i needed the car back i could come pick it up but would be the next in line. Next day got the call to say they were finished and was listed what work needed to be done. Made a same day appointment with this garage to have headlight alignment carried out for a MOT. I asked the price and was quoted £21. Attended the garage and while the work was being carried out I asked the cost of their service and was quoted £85, which is excellent by any standard. Also enquired about tyres and they can obtain Michelin Cross Climate. Alignment carried out and went to pay £21 and they said free of charge! I took some of their business cards and left at reception at work and spoke to some colleagues.
