Has come through for me now 4 times where others have let me down. My brother was struggling with a sensor fault and took to many places that could not resolve the issue which they solved. Patience is the key here and you tend to know a good place with the amount of customers that visit

Friendly boss/owner, he new exactly what I wanted but it took over an hour for his employees to get it 'off the shelf'. He rewarded my patience by giving me the part cheaper. By working on organising place better this could be no 1 Audi/VW breaker in the UK not just Birmingham.

I have been taking my Golf to these guys for years, never had a bad part or experience. Had some new wheels fitted recently, were as good a new and for the fraction of the dealers price. Highly recommended!

They will probably have what you need. The problem is you're going to have to wait around to be served. There is no Sales Counter, you just stand in a makeshift huddle in the yard until someone gets to you. BUT, when they do get to you, they'll have what you need and you probably will not find it cheaper anywhere else. Further, if you don't know what you're doing and, if they have time, they'll most likely fit it for you too at a good price, so you'll leave happy either way and, that's what it's all about at the end of the day IMO!

These guys are great , they have helped me out with a few issues I have had with my Audi A4 and are very knowledgeable , I was recommended by a friend and so glad I tried them. Now they do all my work , MOT , servicing , cam belt changes etc etc at a fraction of the dealer prices ........ Not to mention if you need parts as they are a breaker they can help with that too... It's a one stop Audi shop ....highly recommended

I have been here three times. Once for a change of timing belt and water pump. Job was excellent and the price was reasonable. I came again for a full service. Again excellent work with manufacturer spec oil and filters used. The third time I came was to fix a job another non VAG specialist couldn't do. I had an issue with my steering angle sensor. My local mechanic fitted a part but it still didn't fix the issue. I called frontier and told him I needed it sorting but quickly as I would be with my 1 year old. He told me it would take an hour max. I got there, and he was busy but knew I had my kid with me so did the job himself in 20 minutes flat. He fixed the problem and I didn't even need a new part. Each time I have been there boss has been polite and professional and the pricing has been very very good. They have also been good notifying me by phone when the car was ready. If you have a VW or an Audi or Seat this is a great place to come. They know the cars so you know any issues will be solved in the best and cheapest way and the pricing is better than most normal garages. I highly recommend these guys. As for the bad reviews, they don't add up to my three experiences. Also if you look on some Volkswagen owner forums you will see they have a good reputation.

Took my Seat Alhambra to Frontier on many occasions. Safely say these guys are experts. Diagnosed and fixed always without any problems. Prices are very reasonable. Very honest and very reliable garage. Problem diagnosis and solutions always explained clearly. I'd highly recommend to anyone. So many poor quality garages out there. I would never use anyone else ever. Keep up the fantastic work guys ! Credit to the industry.

Very busy car repair place (it is a garage, scrapyard, etc). Specialising in German cars, the scrap yard providing cheap parts... Job done was good, but couldn't do the other job as the part was not deemed good enough (so they weren't willing to just fit a part in and take your money off you). Impressed with them so far. Only complaint is that the boss (who is very knowledgeable about German cars) is hard to get hold of...

Had issue with car idle (Audi a5) previously taken to three garages who had no clue what they were doing(Quoting me for things like flywheel repair costing £750.00). Eventually got recommended to come here and after few hours of waiting for the owner (Ask for ish as hes the most experienced guy there) who took few minutes to find out issue (Fuel regulator valve needed adapting which was replaced recently) After the fix we did a test drive and car was running perfectly. Will definetly be coming back in the future. (Best to book appointment as place is ALWAYS busy) Big thanks again to Ish for sorting out the issue at such a good price. Regards

Sure it might be a little rough around the edges, and their particular brand of customer service not to everyone's taste, but these guys do a great job for a very cheap price. Having spoken to the gaffa, reception and mechanic I feel confident they are fair and trustworthy and all seem to be enjoying thier work. Take completion times with a pinch of salt. Will defo use again.

My lock Barrel broke. Within an hour, they had my part rebuilt and fitted. Even though they were busy, he made time to fix my lock. Will definitely recommend. Only drawback, they are that busy it's difficult to park up, but that is not the fault of the business.

Excellent service from the boys at Frontier. I have been taking my cars here for general service, diagnosis and repairs for a number of years now. Work is always completed to a high standard by the VW/Audi trained technicians, costs are extremely reasonable and service is A+. The place is always superbly busy but time is always found for valued customers and this is very much appreciated. Ishy is very knowledgable with cars old and new - looking after my modern car (Audi A6) and the classic (Porsche 924). Highly recommended alternative to main dealer! Try them and see.

I would not go anywhere else apart from them. I would say they are better then the dealership when it comes to fixing problems and prices. They are the best! They have been really helpful. I have an audi a3 and every time I had a problem I called up Ishpaq the ownder and he fitted me in regardless how busy they are. They promised me a new engine and without a doubt they got me a really good engine. They are very helpful and know what they are doing. They have all the parts for all seat, audi, skoda and vws. They are massive. They got the right tools and the prices they set are good too. You can not complain. They will fix your problem without a doubt. Trust in them.

I've been using Frontier Volks Works since 2009, after my local VW dealer over-charged me for unnecessary work to be carried out and didn't change the air filter on a standard service. I read various reviews online and was recommended to Frontier VW in Bordesley Green. 6 years on, I am still using them and have recommended various family members and friends. The mechanics specialise in VAG, which is assuring as they don't chase for work on any car. They have the full toolkit and the diagnostic tools to find the fault in the car. I was previously charged over £75 plus VAT by the main stealership, but VW Frontier mechanics can diagnose and repair at a much lower rate. I am surprised to read other negative reviews on here. Customer Service is sometimes lacking, as they are so busy with customers literally queuing to see the mechanics, especially to speak to the boss (Ish). But I go here to get the car repaired, so don't expect a fancy showroom waiting area or coffee machine, but getting the car fixed, quickly and competitively without any scam. These guys make VW look like incompetent mechanics! Fortunately, I've never had a call from Frontier VW saying "we've opened your car and realised that you also need to get x replaced" - this was a issue with my previous mechanic, and in 6 years, Fronter VW have been truthful and honest. Definitely recommend this company without hesitation!

The guys are fantastic, highly knowledgeable, friendly, trustworthy and most importantly get the job done first time cost effectively. The service is unparallelled and I would highly recommend them.

I first went to Frontier Volks Works about ten years ago. My Passat had lost power and had black smoke coming from the exhaust. I went to the VW main dealers who wanted £80 just to diagnose the fault. I then went to three independent mechanics who all said it was the turbo that needed replacing (roughly £500) and then I went to Frontier Volks Works. I advised of my issue and one of the mechanics told me to start the car. Did so and within seconds he said "Your turbo pipe has blown. Not an expensive part from main dealers". It cost me peanuts to fix. The honesty was refreshing in a world full of cowboy mechanics! I have gone here since and had it all. From flywheel replacements to servicing to MOT's. As people have mentioned before they are busy but there is a reason for that! Try not to go at peak times and you'll be fine. If you want to be dealt with straight away and be given a cup of tea then go and pay £100's. If you want a good, honest mechanic who knows your car better than the VW group itself then go to Frontier!

I have been using volksworks for many years as we have 5 cars in the family . Very honest and straight forward guys. All MOT's , services or any mechanical or electrical problems have been solved and repaired by them at reasonable rates. I discovered them when I went to another garage who advised me that my turbo needed changing but someone recommende I go to volksworks . I'm glad I did as it saved me £100s of pounds . They quickly diagnosed that it was just a turbo valve that needed changing . It cost me next to nothing to have the vehicle back on the road . Never gone anywhere since. My advice is go to these guys who know what they are on about then to garages who don't have the latest tools and diagnostic systems . They will just play the guessing game and you will end up spending money that you don't need to . Get it right the first time and go to volksworks 👍👍👍👍

I travel about 75 miles each way. Why you might ask ,because alot of garages tend to ripe you off .This garage always been fare and honest they give you a choice used part or brand new part.some garages tend to use second hand parts but charge you for new parts. one review I read from. LUBNA SHAHID is she crazy she brought the parts they fitted it now it did not work that's not there fault. Now you want them to take the parts off and fit new parts for notthing. Your fault ,buy the right parts LUBNA SHAHID in the first place and stop writing rubbish about one of few garages that don't ripe people off .A garage for the people with honest prices. Wish i had one closer to where I live . Recommend them 100%.
