I went to Halfords for my MOT they told me that my break pads, tyres and list of many other things needed to be replaced. I took my car to Richard, who looked over my breaks & tyres and the images that Halford proved. He told me straight away that nothing was wrong and nothing needed replacing for a long time coming. Thank you for the peace of mind Richard.

Wouldn't take my car anywhere else. These guys are so nice, professional and importantly trust worthy and good value! They always look after me and the lady in the office always updates me on what's happening. In summary a brilliant garage if you want quality service at a fair price without the fear of being ripped off. 11/10 would recommend

Finding these mechanics is the best thing I've done in regards to my cars. I used to have a vauxhall Corsa which played up continually it would always be in and out of my old mechanics and the job was never done properly. However when I found T&R motors they fixed the exact problem and the car was running smooth, the price was fair and the level of professionalism was spot on, however few months down the line my car was playing up so I called in, not only did they keep it in their shop for 2 days they did a full check on the car, tried ordering parts but nothing worked the car was finished, but when I came to pick it up they didn't charge a penny. The fact that they didn't fix the issue they didn't want money for it. They advised me what to do next and I eventually got a new car. So don't think twice if your looking for professionalism, and true fair mechanics T&R motors. Is the only place I would recommend.

Really good experience. My exhaust fell off on the middle of the motor way. My insurance recovery service took me to this garage as they were the highest rated near my work place. They had the exhaust fixed same day, and for a reasonable price. More than happy with them.

Fantastic service. Really kind gentleman. Brought my VW Golf over because of glow plug error code on engine. He called me later that same day to explain the fault and options for repair, very open and honest about cost of service. Next morning called to say it was repaired and error code cleared. He gave further advice on how to clear another code and to bring it back if any issues. No nonsense garage, honest, fast turn around. Worth every penny. Will recommend to all.

Highly recommend this garage, the staff member I dealt with (Martin) was extremely helpful. He kept me informed throughout the day on the work needed on my car. Martin went through different options I could take based on the prices and parts used. The price was fair and my car was cleaned inside and out as an added extra to my surprise. Excellent garage - would happily return! My first time visiting T & R - my car's electrical fuse box and interior got flooded with water in the recent very heavy rain. Nightmare! Great people to deal with, helpful, organised and friendly - they were happy to take the time to explain exactly what work my car needed. My car left the garage in perfect working order and for a great price too - they even reattached my broken mirror for me!

My car won't start this morning and after trying to jump start it but failed numerous of time I decided to call for the professional to have a look at in the afternoon. I am new to the area therefore doesn't know any good garages I could call so I looked up on google and found T&R that have really high reviews and decided to give it a go. As expected I knew any good garages would be very busy and same as T&R when I called but after a breif conversation on the phone with Richard (the owner), he decided to drop his work and came over to have a look at my car as he know that I need it to go to work tomorrow. The respond time/friendliness/efficiency is incredible of Richard and he managed to get my car started straight away without any charge. I will now be using T&R for my future car MOT/servicing and will defifintely be giving Richard a call should I have any probelm with my car. A beyond 5 star service from him and I will definitely recommend T&R.

I’ve had my MOT carried out here in August which I was pleased with as I received great service. Most recently however T&R motors came to my rescue when my car battery was completely flat. Not only did they restart and charge my car, but they then continued to check everything else was okay for free before letting me go on my long journey. I cannot recommend T&R motors enough. They provide a great friendly service and go above and beyond. Thank you.

I was going past T&R motors and i stopped and asked them for some help with my car. I asked them if I had to book my car in. Both brothers Martin and Richard were extremely helpful but martin stopped what he was doing and within 15 minutes had everything working on my car. I cant thank them enough. Martin and Richard - Friendly, honest and reliable gentleman! Encountered a small issue today after a receipt got stuck in my a/c unit and was making a loud rumbling type noise. Quickly googled for the nearest well reviewed garage and T&R came up top, and it's now apparent why they're so well respected. I walked in and despite both Martin and Richard being preoccupied, I explained my issue briefly. They both took the time out to have a look in person to which I showed them the problem and explained what I thought it might be. They agreed that something had probably fallen down the back of the glove back and got stuck into the unit. After 5/10 minutes they had taken the casing off, located the problem receipt and removed it from the unit and the a/c was back it's previous state - almost silent! Now, you're probably thinking this was a simple fix so why do they deserve this review? simple! They're friendly and honest which is a lot more than can be said about some mechanics. Better still, despite it being a quick fix naturally I asked them how much I owed them - "nothing" was their answer. I insisted I gave them something but they refused to accept even a small amount as a gesture of my thanks - and now they've won a future customer! Thanks to you both!

Very good garage. I had previously had some tyres fitted at a garage around the corner earlier in the week. Wheels were not put on properly, so had them re-positoned. Few days later, I noticed fluid dripping by one of the wheels which had not been done correctly. Martin and Richard had a look and put my mind at rest as it turned out to be condensation from the air con. Very honest. A lot of garages would probably have charged me for works not required. Highly recommended. I've used them before and will use again.
