I won’t go anywhere else! It’s that simple! My car has been with the team for the past week to have some extensive bodywork repairs done following a non fault accident on my part. From the minute I went to see them the process was so easy and the workmanship that has gone into my car repair is second to none! They handled all of the insurance paperwork (quote, photos and payment from the 3rd party insurers) don’t be bullied into using the repairer of the insurers choice! You have the right to choose your own, If I did that I’d still be waiting for the repair to be booked! All work is guaranteed and of such a high standard. I was able to have use of a courtesy car and contacted promptly once the repair was complete (no need to chase!) if you need any bodywork repairs (whether through insurance or not) I’d 100% recommended them. No over inflated prices or corners cut here, just great workmanship and friendly staff! My car looks amazing, inside and out thanks to the complimentary valet prior to collection! Huge thanks again!

Absolutely cracking job. I did a very silly thing and reversed my car into a lamp post. Yes I felt like slapping myself. I was in a state of shock when I arrived at Godfreys, and Mike really helped reassure me and make me feel like it wasn't the end of the world. Not only did he fix my car to a super high standard, but he went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the job. Even washed the car. Looks like a brand new car now. I would highly recommend this garage to anyone who has had a crash or not. Super helpful garage and all so happy to help. If I could give more then 5 starts I would!!!!

I took my 65 plate fiesta to Godfrey's as it is developing 2 small rust areas where the rear bumpers have been rubbing against the arches. It was extremely refreshing to find a trade that truly has a customers best interest at heart. I turned up looking for a price and instead of assessing the work immediately, the gentleman gave me some fantastic advice, he recommended I first go directly to Ford as it was a clear manufacturing issue. He also gave me advice on how to deal with the complaint. It remains to be seen whether Ford will carry out the work free of charge but with the advice I've been given at least I have a better chance. And in the event of Ford not accepting liability. I definitely know of a great bodyshop I wouldn't hesitate to take the car to. 👌👌👌

Professional friendly service from start to finish keeping me informed at every stage. A good garage is what every driver needs. I have used Godreys for years. 2 weeks ago about 8.30 a.m., my neighbours newish partner backed out his old Landrover Defender out of a hardstanding at some speed and hit the offside rear of my 02 plate Ford Focus Ghia doing substantial damage to the bodywork and bumper, creasing, denting and chewing it up . He didnt alert us, he drove off. But he WAS seen and I was messaged by another neighbour. I took photographs, attempted to contact the man through his partner and got a drip feed of information. it was 3 days before I eventually saw him..no damage at all to his heavy duty military vehicle!. My own insurer would have written the car off. Im 68, a pensioner and I look after my car, I cant afford to replace it. I went to see Mike Godfrey in despair with the thought of losing my lovely car due to uneconomic repairs caused by a careless driver who drove off and left the scene. Mike, gave me a courtesy car, dealt with the third partys insurer and took the headache away. he and his team have put my car back together, its as good as new. No corner has been cut, its perfect. He has adjusted all the costs above what the very sympathetic 3rd party insurer paid out. It has not cost me anything. This is a fantastic garage, a whole family business offering tremendous friendly customer service who really care and look after you. I thoroughly recommend them, they are very, very good as all the other reviews also show. I will always use them.

Mike and the team took great care of my 21 year old Mazda RX7 (my pride and joy!) throughout its restoration. This was the first time I had had major welding and bodywork repairs carried out on the car, and I was a little nervous of the result..... However, it really is as good as new, and I am delighted with the results. You really cannot 'see the joins' and the paint finish is quite superb. It is rare to find skilled workers who take a genuine pride in their product, but Mike has assembled such a team here at his family business. I cannot recommend Godfreys highly enough. I had the misfortune of having my car damaged by a third party while parked outside my house. After my first experience with Mike and his team at Godfreys crash repair centre (as detailed below) I had no hessitation in going back to see Mike. The service was yet again excellent. Mike dealt with the the third party's insurance company, all I had to do was take the car in when he was ready to carry out the repairs. Because the car was a import car from Japan the parts required were not readily available in the UK but Mike sourced the parts required. I was always kept upto date on the progress. The end result was my car now looks perfect again. The car is 17 years old and the colour match is great. All the shut lines and swage lines match perfectly. I can't imagine getting such a good job done anywhere else. I am again extremely pleased with the whole process and end result. This reinforces my earlier review and experience with Godfreys Crash Repair Centre and I can't reccommend them enough. My thanks go out to Mike and his team for such a great job. I had to have the rear sills repaired on my MX5, both inner and outer sills needed work. Before the work was carried out Mike and his MX5 sill expert gave me a full account of the whole process of the repair explaining exactly what would be done and a maximum price for the work, as the full extent of the work needed could not be determined without cutting the outer material away. I have just had the work done and I am really pleased with it. Mike had even taken photographs of the different stages and was able to show me how bad the sills were on the inside. He said he would email me the photos so I had proof of the work carried out. I received great customer service from start to finish. Both my son and I have said you can't tell the sills have been repaired from looking at the car even the colour match is perfect on a 14 yr old car. One very happy customer and I would highly recommend Godfreys Crash Repair if you want a first class repair carried out.

Mike and his team have a passion for all things "paint". I recently entrusted them with the tank, fairing and assorted panels from my 1980 Honda CX500. The finished product is amazing. Due to a little mishap, I had to get the front end of my Wifes 1 series BMW repaired. Unfortunately, this coincided with the start of lockdown in March. When the madness eased Mike Godfrey got everything sorted and the car was repaired in September. The repair was carried out on time and Mike and his Son Richard did an excellent job. I took my Vauxhall Insignia to Godfreys 2 weeks ago following an accident I had recently. My insurance company directed me to a bodyshop in Cardiff but after meeting Mike, I decided to bring my car to Godfreys. This is a family run business and their customer service is exceptional.
