Lovely helpful staff who fit us in on a Sunday morning to fix our brakes that had gone the day before after a long trip down from Manchester, making it safe for us to travel home to our children. Amazing service. I easily booked MOT on line, then added an oil change by phone, which was accommodated. The MOT was discounted and overall I felt that I had good value for money. I also requested a new wiper blade for the back window, which was fitted with no extra cost. It was my first time to have an MOT in Halfords but I will be booking it there next year.

5 star service. I had a problem with my car whilst driving to Bridgend. I didn't know what the problem was, but there was a noise coming from under the car. I was less than half a mile away and i pulled over and rang them. They said if I could get it there they would look at it for me. True to their word, within 10 minutes it was up on the ramp and another 10 minutes all fixed. Brilliant service from everyone involved, definitely 5 star customer service.

Ref: My MOT experience at Halfords Autocentre Bridgend: The booking was easy and convenient online- A good start. The staff, from reception to the motor engineers were diligent, professional courteous and sincere, The workshop seemed happy busy and yet relaxed. Even though I needed a retest, there was no drama. Just good customer communication. I was offering 5 stars at this point! My re-serviced brakes awarded me a ‘pass’ the next day. To my surprise later that next day after collecting my car, I received a call from reception to ask if I had left my ipad behind? ( my name was faintly written inside). That kind of follow up gives them a 10 in my book! and my respect. Many thanks again. I’ll be back.

Very easy to book a slot online for my brake check. I dropped the car off in the morning, and picked it up in the afternoon with all work done. I was able to track the progress of my car through the workshop with a handy little email/text link. I have always found the staff in this branch to be very helpful and trustworthy, which is hugely important for me. I have no issues with this branch of Halfords, and will undoubtedly return in the future as my needs arise.

I had a free MOT voucher and used it for my car. I usually have my MOT at a garage that does no repairs, that way there is no incentive to fail it. Halfords did the MOT and apart from advisories (which I was expecting) it was a fair test and I was very pleased. It was started within a couple of minutes of the booked time and was all done in about an hour as expected. The reception guy was very friendly and efficient, he even provided me with a chair to sit out in the sunshine while I waited.

Good value but rather disappointed couldn’t find my car afterwards and seat not put back to original position. Plus a lot of advisories in the service I thought would have been done like changing the filter and spark plugs. Really preferred the younger manager too on previous occasions.

These guys are great, honestly. I did not expect such personal service from a franchise garage. I have used them for several years and have a felt satisfied that I have never been overcharged, given a hard sell or had anything exaggerated to make me spend more than was necessary at the time while still remaining safe. Fantastic service. Had dpf clean and regeneration. Able to book it straight away. Land Rover dealership had a wait of a week and would start with £185 diagnostic test when problem identified by warning light and message on dashboard. Had oil and filter change too. Total cost just over £200. Car running better than it has for months, in spite of service at Land Rover in November!! Thank you, Halfords. You are brilliant!!!!

Used Halfords for a service and new tyres. Service was OK, staff not very friendly but OK. I had to return for two tyres that weren't in stock, booked the car in but then waited at the centre for 45 minutes before they started on it. No apologies which is disappointing when the car had been booked for a specific time and I'd made the effort to be on time. So an hour at the centre wasted with lots of other things to do and a meal planned with family that had to be delayed. Would still use the garage in the future as its convenient but they could do better.

Recently had a free MOT carried out at this Halfords Autocentre after an in-store promotion. Service was fine and car passed so all good. I did however witness numerous people being told their cars had failed their MOT and the quotes to get them through the MOT were eye watering. Would I take my car there for future MOT's? Not a chance. I prefer to use dedicated MOT stations that don't carry out repairs. Would I use them for service or repairs... Probably not as the prices they were quoting other customers were comparable to my local BMW independent so I will continue using them for their expertise.

Very helpful staff, knowledgeable and welcoming. Only issue is the time it took to complete but I believe that's probably because of the way the booking system works (i heard another customer complain about it and the staff member explained the way it works). I recently booked my car in over the phone for a MOT and service at Halfords Auto centre Bridgend. I turned up for my appointment at 8-30am only to be told that whoever took my booking had not bothered to enter me in thier system. No name was mentioned and no apology was offered. I did get my car done that morning, but only because they were quiet !!!. I wonder what would have happened if they were busy.!!!! I will not be revisiting them for future MOTs And £ for £ I don't think they are better value than a main dealer.

I am over the moon about Halfords Autocentre in Bridgend. They were courteous, considerate and inexpensive. I had an "A" service done on my old X type Jaguar and included some extra work and inspections at the same time. The price was cheaper than a jaguar main dealer by a long way. Yes I know they didn't use Jaguar parts but with an old car, as long as the parts are named parts then it's ok to use them. I was able to talk to the person who did the car and the feedback I had was excellent With a easy to read report on things I had not asked to be looked at. IO don't know if you get the same service from other branches but I rate this Autocentre so high I would recommend it to any Jaguar owner regardless of age of vehicle..
