K. O. T. P.I've been bringing my car here for about 6-7 years for its' MOT and occasionally a service and repairs. Always first class service. As others have said there is no sales pitch to get unnecessary work done. All the work that does need doing is done well, in good time and for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

M. D.Been taking my car here for a couple of years. Always found the prices reasonable and have had no unnecessary work performed or suggested. Was expecting the worse this MOT time, and only some suspension arms (I think that's what they were) needed changing. He even showed me the old ones from the car, (I'd arrived unexpected BTW) and it drives so smooth now without its rattle.
He may seem a little relaxed in his chair when you enter the premises (previous complaint here), but after chatting to him he was really helpful. Be interesting to see if he was right about their Air con as it may have saved them quite a bit of cash. If its leaking water and not overheating its probably aircon.
C. O.My family and I have used this garage for years. Mark is a great guy, and when I suspected a rear brake issue with my MX-5, he suggested the rear calipers would likely need changing, which is what I had expected.
After having it on the lift, he put it down to lack of use, and let me know that there was no issue to mention with the brakes. I know there are other garages who would have gone along with it, and charged to do the job for some easy cash. He also noted an unrelated issue he spotted that would need to be addressed before the MOT, which has likely saved me a dreaded fail sheet.
As he didn't need to do any work to the car, he did the inspection free of charge. I would recommend MJB to anyone, and I will be using him for future work I can't do myself.
