Duncan is an absolute gem. I took my 159 to him this morning for a cambelt, water pump, oil & filter change. The work is absolutely spot on and the price paid was extremely reasonable. Duncan at Alfanet is absolutely amazing. He's always busy so book a week or so in advance but there's a reason he's always busy. Gets jobs done in 2 hours that most garages would take an entire day to do. If you've got an Alfa Romeo, new or old then this guy is your man! Have been using many different garages for my 2001 GTV for years, but have realised that nobody really is equipped with specialist Alfa Romeo tools, meaning my car would usually come back more broken than to begin with. I then found Duncan from a Google search and gave him a try last year (2018). He had my cambelt changed along with everything else involved in a cambelt (water pump and pulleys etc) in 3 hours from dropping the car off to him ringing me with the job complete. His little garage can be hard to find at first but once you've found him, you'll be a loyal customer for life! His charges are extremely reasonable with me paying around £360 all in for a cambelt, crank sensor, AUX belt and associated parts on a 2.0 GTV. He's a man who seems to thoroughly enjoy his job and is a perfectionist, you won't get your car back until it's 100% perfect. Well recommended!

Discovered Duncan on the Alfa forums after Simon stone in Bristol disappeared earlier in the year. Duncan offers twice the service at half the price and really knows his stuff. The premises is a little hard to find tucked away in an alley but don't let it put you off.

Duncan Slade at Alfanet is an excellent mechanic. He has a small but well equipped single bay workshop with full hydraulic lift etc. Great knowledge of Alfas. Replaced the cambelt and waterpump on my 159 2.4 for £276 incl. VAT. He also investigated a mystery rattle and gave me a very detailed opinion without recommending unnecessary work. He takes debit/credit cards. Overall really pleased and will be using Alfanet again.
