Just recently purchased a Mercedes c250, I noticed a metallic rattle from the chain on start up and quickly got booked in for the tensioner to be changed. I always do my research, and out of all the garages I found this particular specialist to be courteous, honest, and super knowledgable. I will definitely be returning here in the future, just hopefully not too soon!😅 Overall, this is my first visit and not my last. These guys are polite, and absolutely kill the competition. Very, very honest people. Thank you for your great customer service, I don’t usually leave reviews but you guys have certainly earned one! Thanks!

We have used this company for our mercedes 2 times they are a family ran business a husband and wife both are very professional and know alot about mercedes cars! Just picked my car up yesterday was lucky to meet there extended family the puppy is gorgeous! Wouldn't take my car anywhere else the communication is also very good they keep you updated. Craig has been looking after my various Mercedes i have had over the last 4 years. In that time i have had nothing but great service. My current car a C Class AMG, i had trouble with the gearbox jerking and lurching. Craig diagnosed the fault without even taking the car apart. Part was ordered fitted, and perfect, a different car. 100% satisfaction every time. Do bother going anywhere else just D&B.

So recently my Mercedes developed a knocking noise that sounded like it was coming from the front end. I used to deal with Michelle and Craig for my other car (4 years ago) and couldn’t fault them during that time. Since then I have relocated 40 miles away so I made the decision to take my car in to a local garage. After 2 hours they couldn't locate where the noise was coming from and said that they would need to strip the front end (6 hours work minimum). This would have resulted in a bill of nearly £600 before the fault was even found. With that I decided to jump in my car and made the drive back to D&B to speak with Craig! He took the car out for a test drive and was extremely confident with what the fault was even before putting it up on a ramp. My transmission fluid was due to be changed anyway so I asked if that could also be carried out at the same time. All in all It actually worked out that I had both jobs done at D&B Automotive for less than I would have paid for my local garage to even find the fault. I guess this is where the 25+ years of experience of working on Mercedes comes into play. Needless to say, If any other fault arises then I will now be making the trip up to you guys. Craig and Michelle are an absolute pleasure to deal with and their knowledge and pride in what they do is exceptional. A family run company that truly deserves all the business that they receive. Thanks once again.

I used these guys for the first time after always taking my car to Main Dealers. What a difference, I spoke to Michelle on the initial booking , she was brilliant, had a wealth of knowledge and guided me through the Service that was required via the online system, so I knew exactly how much it was going to cost. Could not be more satisfied with D&B this morning. My 77 year old dad had driven from Dorset to stay with us but his engine had died on the way before restarting and he was very worried about getting home again. We snuck along 1st thing on a Monday morning to ask for a diagnostic check and thankfully not only could they squeeze us in but did a quick hold and repair on a sensor that had been cracked on previous shocking job from elsewhere. All sorted, with friendly and helpful advice allowing peace of mind for all concerned. Bravo and thanks D&B team!! You really saved the day!!

Genuinely outstanding on the technical front, pleasant, honest, and do what they say they will, when they say they will. Clearly obsessive about Mercedes and about details. Priced just right. It doesn't have to be more complex than this. Trust isn't easily won, especially from a wary sceptic like me, but this outfit have. There are closer, perhaps better-known MB specialists in the greater Bristol area, but you will not find better. And they outclass the main dealers in every important category, by a long way.

I found D&B Automotive by mistake - however I can tell you, it's one of the best mistakes I did ;). Myself and my partner both owing Mercedes-Benz cars and as you can imagine it's very difficult now a days to find a reliable and trustworthy garage. My car did not start at all and was in a different garage to start with (they couldn't fix it as they are not MB specialist). Luckily I found D&B garage who are amazingggg. Michelle it's very professional - although she is not the main mechanic, OMG she knows a lot about MB - you can tell straightaway that you are leaving your car in good hands. My advice it's simple - you want a trustworthy garage for your MB? somewhere that you know your car will be fixed and not cost a fortune? Then go to D&B Automotive. I will be definitly using this garage for both myself and my husband's car from now on. BTW: They do work directly with MB Bristol - therefore all car services, parts, etc will be part of the car history. Can't recommend high enough for everything you do! Thank you very much Michelle and Craig for everything you do. PS: I'll come to fix my oil leak with you soon;)

Recently Craig was so helpful in explaining the servicing schedule of MB. Then once we had acquired a car, through a local dealer, he gave us advice and answered some niggling little queries we had. He was recommended to us by a friend in Bridgwater and, although we haven't needed his garage services yet, we WILL be going to him. I never usually leave reviews , however I felt compelled to review this company. I've never used D&B Automotive , however on Christmas eve my car broke down and the AA called the as they were the only one's available. They spoke to a chap called Craig and he helped them to get my car started over the phone and allow us to carry on our journey back to Liverpool. I will probably never use them as live so far away, but if I did I would certainly be using them for my repairs. Really appreciated the help and absolute life savers. Thankyou

5 star service. If you have a mercedes and you live in the southwest then this is the only place you will need to go friendly staff. Very informative on the job at hand. And the receptionist is very knowlegable which makes a change unlike most mechanics. So you get peace of mind and an understanding of what work they plan to carry out and what may need to be done in the future. Provided me with a courtesy car aswell. So wasn't left immobile.

I can't thank you guys enough. I have been using other Mercedes specialists in bristol and had a fairly good experience from all of them to be fair. However these guys are on another level. My old CLS (2008) has had an intermittent gearbox and starting fault for about 3 years You carried out a routine service and pointed out that there was a wire rubbing on the gearbox casing that needed attention . You corrected this along with a couple of additional service items ( air and fuel filters ). The car has never run so well and also the gearbox/ starting fault seems to be completely fixed. Looking forward to seeing the new site. Bravo !!

This is most definately a 5 star Mercedes garage. Craig has serviced my various Mercedes for over two decades (at dealerships Cruikshanks and then Synter, at Autospec Bristol and now at D&B Automotive). Faultless, freindly, experienced and knowledgable but most of all honest. A common thread through these reviews is "honest" and it is well deserved. I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else! New front shock absorber for my C-Class with dynamic suspension £600. Craig thought this was a bit pricey and so after a bit of research found that Merc did actually do a "repair kit" for said shock absorber at £180 plus labour to rebuild and refit, £240, a saving of £360. He could easily have just quoted me £600 for the new shock absorber and I would have been none the wiser. There are other stories along the same lines but you'd get bored reading them all. I'm sure you get the gist. If you drive a Mercedes in the greater Bristol area it's a simple choice for servicing and repairs. You won't regret it thats for sure.

Let down by other so called specialists, I called Craig and car was taken straight in and diagnosed my suspension failure quickly and rectified the following day, stayed late to enable me to collect car when completed and been perfect ever since. First class, tell you honestly what the fault is and charge a fair price.
