Booked my car in here for an MOT after being let down badly by a garage opposite. Paul Garland and the Team were knowledgeable, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Sat in the warm and dry with a hot drink whilst my MOT was carried out. Overview, Great value, quick, polite and friendly. Will definitely be using again for our other vehicles and would recommend without hesitation to anyone in the area. Thanks again Paul.

Had to wait even though I had booked a waiting appointment slot (and confirmed it two days before). Engineer working on the car did not protect seat with plastic cover and some rubber seals and covers were not refitted properly in the engine bay following the service. Worst still, an incorrect wheel nut was fitted to one of the front wheels and this took a week to be corrected (even though I was promised next day), and this only seemed to happen because I had to chase regularly.

Booked my husbands car in for MOT in the first slot at 8.30am and went off to grab a coffee as normally we are contacted within the hr to say MOT complete and we can pick up by about 10am. Called at 9.30 to be told a breakdown had come in and still not MOTD. Wasn’t ready until 11 . Not great when u intend to wait around for an hr. Normally good service but not so great this time

I booked in for a slot & found it was a drop off slot, not a service slot. However, they checked the car in the afternoon and rang me back. They were helpful on the phone and recommended diagnostics test. When I went back to pick up the car they let me speak to the technician about the issue. At least you can see and speak to people unlike the big franchises like Ford.

Visited the Longwell Green branch on 5th a March with a need for a headlight bulb change. Non booked visit and really needed it done same day as only visiting. They were fully booked and busy but went out of their way to help. Job done. Super helpful and pleasant team and very reasonably priced. Thanks guys!!!

So glad I came in yesterday! Got the battery checked straight away and exchanged for a new one - without it I probably wouldn't even be able to drive back home on that day, since it stalled even on the mechanics. Bit on the pricey side, but the car starts with no problem now and the assistant manager and mechanic that served me were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Went for an MOT. Service was fast and friendly. Didn't seem expensive. Only strange thing was in the advisories they said the front nearside tyre had a nail in it. They recommended I get it checked out and suggested the tyre garage round the corner. I nearly went there but had second thoughts and took it to a local garage I know well instead. They couldn't find any nail in the tyre and got me to have a look at it, too – nothing there.

I have used this garage and the one in Bath. Excellent service in both. Roy and the boys are great. The only criticism I have is Dan the assistant manager is very sharp and aggressive in the way he comes across. I’m not sure if he has the mechanical knowledge to back up what he is saying. Despite that a great service.

Not a great welcome from the staff, arrived 15 mins early they were all in the office. Surly response to my question of how long it would take to change two tyres that I had ordered and pre-paid. A fair price for the tyres and fitting but customer service is lacking, would I recommend Longwell green........Not really did not feel valued customer

There was a rude customer in reception shouting and screaming 😱 the staff at Halfords kept their cool and tried their best to defuse the situation. The customer was late for mot and was going mental.i did feel bad for the manager as he was being called a liar. I feel that it’s important to make a note of this as the customer was collecting the staffs names and going to report them to your head office. Please contact me if this is the case as I witnessed it all and Halfords staff were not in the wrong. Top service as normal.

I received impressive service today at this halfolds MOT place. Very friendly and informative staff. I was waiting for my car so I could go to work and I was kept updated on progress. The guy on the front desk took an interest in my work, offered me a coffee and was happy explain anything I didn’t understand. Overall, I’m very happy and my car drives like its new again. Feedback for the bosses: The guy who served me probably deserves a payrise. He also dealt with more people coming in, asking for parts than any other customers..it might pay you to offer a parts counter. That side of Bristol is lacking anything decent and your Brislington branch isn’t ‘that’ near unless your local and it’s in the opposite direction to the motorways. Thanks James

Sunroof was stuck open Easter Bank Holiday Saturday. Dropped in to see if they could do anything, at least just to get it closed. They said they could have a look in half an hour. Came back and they'd closed it and didn't charge a penny! Proper gents!

The guys were fantastic, I am a teacher and had a meeting on the morning the car was booked in for full service, mot and tyres, they allowed me to bring the car in later, did all the work and still gave it back to me on the same day, all the staff in my option went above and beyond in the level of service and care they gave me, but after using this branch pretty much since it has opened I have come a custom to getting this level of service, unlike other garages were when you leave you are not sure if you have been ripped off or not, with Halfords you never get that feeling the service and workmanship is always first class the guys at Longwell green are an asset to your company well down outstanding thanks Mike

Car broke down and was towed here by AA. The guys came across abrupt at first with a long wait to get car fixed. But was fixed a week quicker than expected and when I went to collect they were very nice and accommodating.
