Taken my car here a couple of times for repairs and a mot. What can I say. Nick who runs the garage really knows his stuff. He sorted my car where others have failed. (Rare import car) pricing and service is incredible. I'm over the moon with my car. I've told family and friends and all have had the same service as me. You'll not find a better mechanic. I won't be going anywhere else from now on.

Excellent customer service and not only a service centre for normal maintenance and repair but also modification weather it's coilovers/hybrid turbo's/gauges you name it Nicks the man and is extremely knowledgeable. Has access to one of the best mappers around and can cater for most of your needs give him a call you won't be disappointed ;) he managed to turn my Samantha into an animal. 340bhp/960nm

Very honest service. We had a breakdown and brought the car to them. George have us a quote and, instead of trying to get the job, he honestly told us his personal opinion. We had all the time to think about it and to take our decision. Gina at the reception was the loveliest person ever, offering some coffee and being helpful and supportive. Very kind team. I have nothing but good things to say about the service from this garage. I had a land rover discovery 2 which obviously needed a fair amount of maintenance. Took it to George for a service, chassis treatment and protection spray, m.o.t and a clutch replacement in the year I had it. He was always the cheapest quote I could find and had lots of knowledge about the vehicles as he has always been fan of them. The clutch and dual mass fly wheel was the most impressive part of the service he provided. He quoted me a very good price and told me that there was an option to get the dual mass fly wheel welded to prevent this fault from happening again but it would shake a bit more and generally be a bit roughly as it would operate as a single plate fly wheel. I agreed to this and he told me a date when I could pick it up. I came back to pick the car up on the date quoted and he told me that he'd actually sent the clutch off to be welded but he installed it something technical wasn't right and he had actually taken it back out and installed the more expensive dual mass for the same price and had effectively done the job twice without adding any extra labour to the job. Great garage, friendly, informative, reasonable.

Brilliant and efficient service. ..I had clutch problems with my car which were quickly sorted and they even gave me a car to use for the day so I wasn't out if work . Ive also had my bike fully serviced there too ......Definitely recommend to anyone. ..and they've got nice coffee 😊

I have lived in the village for 40yrs and this is the best garage there has been in all that time for miles around. The review below which gave them 1 star & accused them of incompetence and dishonesty sounds like actionable slander to me. This delightful family team works quickly, efficiently and affordably. My first encounter with the family was shortly after they started up here, when my last rust-bucket (from elsewhere) blew its gearbox . I exist on a very tight budget & asked if they could maybe look around for a cheap replacement for me. George instantly showed me a car out the back that his father had just finished renovating to use himself and offered it at a price well below what I'd said was my limit. It has proved to be the very best second-hand car I've ever owned & when it does need attention (as a result of my somewhat rustic lifestle it takes a hammering) they fix it in an amazingly short time. Portbury Village has a Facebook Page, and when somebody asked for a recomendation for a good garage a while back, the page was swamped with glowing testimonials. Need I say more? Five Stars it is!!!!
