Used Express Autos last week after having an engine light warning, called and easily arranged an appointment to get everything checked out. Peter was fantastic and sorted everyrhing out within the hour, after fitting a new coil pack and spark plugs - the car was back in action. Would definitely recommend, quality service.

What can I say, Express seriously challenge the Garage Stereotype. Honest, hard working, transparent, very reasonable. I have been using them since a Petrol Head I worked with recommended them. Best recommendation I ever had. I was quoted £197 at another garage for a simple fob battery change, with express I paid £4!

I received amazing service from them on Friday. My car broke down and they had it up and running by the end of the day and for a reasonable cost! The ladies who work in the office are lovely and very efficient. The guys and gals who work on the vehicles are friendly and honest. They also stayed late on a Friday to give me back my keys. Service was excellent, booked my car over the phone for its MOT. Dropped it around 9am with a lovely man who appeared to actually be in charge. I left it outside double parked, gave him the keys and he moved it immediately. Was called a couple of hours later with the failure notice, advised that they needed to do some investigation to see what the issue was with the breaks before they could cost the repairs. I agreed to this and nothing else. Was called again then with the costings for all repairs for all the failures and advisories, unfortunately it was way overpriced and cost as much as the car was insured for. Instead I picked it up and just paid for the MOT and half hour investigation time. Recommended on service, not for pricing.

Used this place several times when I worked in Cardiff. Great bunch of staff managed by Kev and co. Always had a really honest and efficient service with all costs broken down and discounted where possible. Always felt happy with the whole experience which can be hard with garages. Will definitely use again if I'm ever in Cardiff, wouldn't go anywhere else 10/10

Brought the Beemer in with an intermittent squeak at low revs + low speed. Paul, who I'm assuming is the lead mechanic, is very knowledgeable. Car was dropped off at 8.30, 1hr labour was agreed. The problem wasn't what we thought it was, was called and advised of the problem and quoted a great price. They fixed the issue and had the car ready for pick up at 4. Great service throughout. 4 new brake pads were needed, the price (including labour) was only £10 more than buying 4 new pads + sensor from euro car parts even with their 50% mid deal. Bearing in mind these guys ended up taking all 4 wheels off, cleaning out the wheel wells etc and did two test drives as well. Hopefully I don't have any more issues but if I do and I'm in Cardiff these guys would definitely be my first call.

Absolutely brilliant garage. As a young(ish) woman with no idea about cars, I've frequently been overcharged and made to pay for unnecessary works at other garages. Not at this place. Work is carried out quickly and at such a reasonable price, and the staff explain exactly what is required and provide time estimates that they always seem to beat. I won't go anywhere else for car repairs now.

Clutch had failed on my Dads car and he was faced with trying to find a decent garage in a City he didn,t know.It was made very clear to him by locals that this was the garage to go to.The garage kept him updated continually with how the work was progressing and actually completed the work on the transmission early.Further more the bill was less than he expected

I really can't praise Kevin and the guys at Express enough. I think it's quite a common fear of many in not being able to find a good garage they can trust. That is definitely not the case with Express. I read the various reviews and thought I'd give them a shot as my car required a fair amount of work. Kevin kept the costs as reasonable as possible, listened to my views and even suggested that it may not be worth doing the work due to the costs! That said they did the work well and priced very well too. I would only say they can be very busy (due to being good/popular) so on occasion take a bit longer to complete jobs than planned or not always fully on it in terms of communication but these are minor things otherwise. I've taken a couple of cars here now a number of times and have had zero compliants or issues on my part. Recommended.

New customer to EVS and it has to be 5 out 5...very impressed! The starter motor had gone and had damaged the flywheel starter ring. The job was too big for my usual garage so they referred me to Express Vehicle Services. What a great experience from start to finish. Despite the fact we couldn't source the parts for over a week Chris was more than happy to let me have the car towed to them and they would look after it until they could complete the job which was extremely helpful. We agreed a price and as soon as the parts arrived they were on the job and it was completed quickly. The car now starts and sounds better than it ever has! Chris was even able to do the job a bit cheaper than the quote so I had a nice surprise when I came to pay. Its never nice to have to deal with and pay for a breakdown like this but these guys made it painless, they did what they said they would and were honest enough to pass on their savings to me. I highly recommend these guys.

Really great garage! Had plenty of time to chat with the girl on reception. Family run business with family values! Really happy with my new wishbones and tie rod ends on my Honda Civic. Heard great reviews from people about the Barry branch, so decided to try the Cardiff branch closer to me. Everything went perfect. Went in for a new tyre they checked it out discovered the problem with it and agreed new tyre needed. They checked the other tyers too (which they didn''t have to do but was very much appreciated as it has helped me know when the other needs replacing) Parking can be a little tricky but not really anything they can do about that. First time trying them but think I am going to stick with this garage. Hope they keep up the good work.

Completely reliable and honest company, great and very helpful staff. Took my car to another garage, where they conned me out of quite a bit of money and screwed my car up. Express garages completely sorted my car out and gave me really good advice. Should have gone to them in the first place rather than the other garage, will def go back to get a service and my tyres sorted out. Would def recommend this garage to anyone.
