Had my tyres replaced and got a good deal. It was done swiftly and promptly, thanks very much for that. The only issue was they said they couldn't check the wheel alignment because a lane assist thingy had been fitted to my car and the computer would need to be reset and the only people who could do this were Volvo, the maker of my car. I could see the staff were extremely busy and working very hard with all of the cars, I could see they were under a lot of pressure. However I thought this was rather odd, since surely this must be the case with many modern cars and a central part of Kwik fits work must include wheel alignment?. So on the way home I stopped at Volvo and asked them to do my wheel alignment, as a further cost of £60 (!!) and informed them of my experience in relation to this at Kwik Fit. They said it was an easy thing to do and they thought they could have done it. It did turn out that my front wheel alignment was 'quite bad actually' and the back wheels needed a little bit of adjustment. So I'm glad after fitting new tyres that I followed through to get the wheels aligned but a bit disappointed it couldn't all be done in the same place. However I can see with the changing technology requirements of all the different makes of car could provoke difficulties? Plus work overload...

I rang Kwik fit Penarth road to book my partners car in for its Mot and spoke to Ian,who was very polite and friendly.He booked the car informed a week day as it was the only slot available so my partner had to take it in as I was working .She is quite nervous about garages but when she arrived she was met by the manager Paul who was again friendly and polite.She was told to pop back in an hour which she did and the car was done .Paul and Ian made the experience stress free with there professionalism and friendly service and the car passed as well (result). Took my car to the garage this morning, arrived approximately 08:50am, explained I had a flat tyre, which needed fixing, after I had removed a screw from it the day before. Luckily I had a spare steel emergency wheel in my boot. The guy I spoke to asked me if I had an appointment, I told him I didn’t, he said that’s no problem, I can book your car in for 11:00am, after I told him that I would leave the car, and the key so that it would be ready for me to pick up after I finished work, at 13:30pm. I received a phone call from Kieron the fitter at 12:30pm to tell me that my car was ready to be picked up. Paid the bill, which was £25:00 for a puncture package. Brilliant, Excellent Service. Thanks Guys!

They had to do a lose linc arm. They found more...all the sirpention!! Needed changing, both arms. Great job!! But it took them 5 hours not just 2 hours what I was told in the beginning. I was visiting Cardiff on June 19th from my home in North Wales and had a car issue when I was due to travel home the following day. The problem in its entirety remained undiagnosed until I visited Kwik Fit in Penaeth Road and was provided with an excellent service by Keith, Supervisor. From the moment I arrived, Keith was professional and corteous and completely understood and acknowledged the anxiety I felt due to the drive home I faced the following day. Not only did he resolve the issue, but during our interaction, he was also full of general driving tips to get the best from your vehicle and help to prevent unnecessary damage to it whilst driving, particularly in a city where there are a lot of traffic calming measures in force. Our chat was very informative and educational and delivered in a very friendly and affable manner. Kwik Fit is possibly not known for being the cheapest car repair service, but in all honesty, when you get someone like Keith, it is totally worth paying the extra, if indeed it is more expensive, because in a very subtle way, his wealth of experience, both in terms of vehicle maintenance and customer service, was very evident. He totally made you feel that you could trust him, and that is worth a lot more than money. A thoroughly positive experience, and if I needed vehicle assistance whilst visiting Cardiff in the future, Kwik Fit Penarth Road would be my first port of call.

Fortunately they were able to repair that tyre, however, a further two tyres needed replacing due to bulging. Both were done on the ramp in good time and wheels moved around to help with the balancing which was also taken care of. I don’t normally pay too much attention when I’m waiting for my car at the garage but I just wanted to say how great the experience was as at Kwik Fit Penarth Road in Cardiff over the weekend. I had a blow out on my tyre and crawled in to the garage where I was seen straight away and was safely on my way home again one hour later. All the staff were great especially Dan who did a fantastic job keeping me informed while singlehandedly juggling several customers both present and on the phone. I have been to quite a few Kwik Fits but I wasn't particularly impressed with this one. My appointment was the first one on a Saturday morning and I had to go to work after so was keen to get my tyre fitted. Despite having an appointment it took some time to get my car in and sorted. I was sitting in the reception area and could see that the work had been done, but I waited for some time longer while nothing happened; eventually I asked to settle up and leave but the whole process took about an hour and a half - I thought by booking an appointment I should be done in about half an hour. As usual, they tried to sell me things I don't need or want, but the tyre itself was reasonably priced and adequate. The service, however, was poor.

Came in to get a check done on an issue that came up from a Vehicle Health Check from a garage across the road that wanted to charge £90 to do a further diagnostic. Turned up at 830. Left within 15-20 minutes with my car after they showed me what the issue was from underneath, that it didn't need any work doing and for signs to look out for if it does start to go wrong. Honest customer service, saved my self £90. Can't fault it

Tyres are a little pricey when you walk in off the street. However, I had a puncture and could hear the air coming out. Desperate times and all that.
