Friendliest service I've ever had at a garage, felt welcomed as soon as I walked in which as a young woman you don't get too often at a garage if I'm honest. I was really grateful for how forgiving the garage was about my lateness - I was almost an hour late to my appointment (which they penciled me in for at the last minute at my request) because I got the time wrong and then got turned around on my there. The staff was still incredibly kind and warm to me when I arrived. Service was prompt and took exactly as long as they said it would. I have had so many poor experiences with garages in the past and happy to have found this one. I'll be returning for future repairs and recommending you to others. Thank you so much.

These guys were fantastic - fitted me in to fix my car within a few days, and when I did bring it in at 8.30 in the morning, it was fixed again and ready for pick up by before 3 in the afternoon. Even amongst all the difficulty and stress of the Covid-19 lockdown, Ken and the boys serviced, repaired and MOT'd my 'old gal'. With her shiny new brake discs and suspension bushes she felt almost brand new on the short drive home. Thanks guys 👍

Absolutely brilliant service at Lewis motors yesterday. I just booked for a service, but they identified some bigger issues with the car really early on. All the work was carried out yesterday in one go, so no drama about having to take more time off etc and the car was sparkling clean when I had it back (it wasn't in a good state, so this couldn't have been easy). Really good customer service, great communication from everyone there, including a text to say the car was ready. When I walked in to collect the car, the gentleman on the reception desk greeted me by name - I've only ever been in the once to book the car in, so this must have been a concerted effort. I spent quite a bit of money, but I genuinely left feeling like I'd had my money's worth. The car drives much better and even looks better. Have been to some dubious garages over the years, but I'd recommend this one.

For me garages in the past were like dentists, whenever you go for a check up they always find something wrong, and usually it is the most expensive repair work that is required. If Lewis Motors were a dentist then I'd highly recommend them however they are not, instead they are a garage that work to a very high standard backed with professional ethics and honest advice. If you are looking for all of the above, except a dentist, then I cannot say enough about the service that was provided me in in the repair of my beloved S4, she drives like new and I can rest easy I have no nasty surprises on the horizon. Had a panic when I broke down due to my mini overheating. I rang this garage and was pleasantly surprised when Ken answered the phone with a really polite manner and he instantly put me at ease. The garage was able to look at my car on the day and replace the leaking radiator. The commutation was great throughout the day and I wasn’t left wondering when I’d get my car back. They even cleaned the car inside and out which I wasn’t expecting! The friendliness and politeness really made the experience so much less stressful and I would definitely recommend!

An honest, friendly garage. We bring our fleet vehicles to Ken & Rob as they are always honest and up front about any issues with our vans. They are always willing to give advice and only all too willing to help you with your cars. It’s refreshing to deal with a garage that takes pride in their work. Best Garage in Cardiff! I’ve had problems with my heater motor, I took it to diagnostic and they gave me an estimate, I took it back to fix it in a couple of weeks later and they’ve just over exceeded what I expected! Went to pick up my car, found out that they’ve maneged to do the repair under the estimated price and my little car was shiny inside out because I got a complimentary valet. The guys are brilliant, friendly and fair! Can only recommend!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nothing was too much trouble and they were determined that my young daughter and I would not be left without a car, even organising a courtesy car as a contingency just in case. I had an MOT at Lewis Motors. The car was getting on so when they replaced the frayed seat-belt they kindly located a good condition used one which saved me a good few quid. On another car, it failed on a break light, so they very kindly replaced the bulb and didn't charge me. They seem very honest and really look after you. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We've just had our Mini Cooper back from Lewis Motors after having new tyres, brake pads and discs fitted and we are throughly pleased with the service we recieved. We came across Lewis Motors after being recommended by a friend who is a regular customer and promised we'd recieve a great service as he had many times. We contacted them and asked for a price and was surprised to hear a friendly and polite voice on the other end of the phone, the quote was quick and very reasonable. We felt at ease immediately and booked the car in straight away. The guys worked on the car ultra fast and tested it to ensure all was well. We are so satisfied with the quality of the work and the level of customer service we recieved we've got our company van booked in for an overhaul next week. All the typical sterotypes that come with mechanics DO NOT apply here, this establishment is highly professional and just from today alone we know we will be lifelong customers. We cannot thank the team down at Lewis Motors and our buddy who recommended them enough! Overall the team are trustworthy and professional with a high level of customer service, we are 100% happy and we recommend them to everyone. :0)

I never write reviews, but feel the need to with Lewis Motors. The terrifying experience of being new to a city and not knowing who to trust with your car? Sound familiar? All i will say, is i am so happy i was recommended to them by a friend a some years ago and get to have a stress free MOT every year and know my car is in safe hands every time a fix is needed. The honest, intelligent advice they give is second to none and is actually, very sadly, hard to come by nowadays. Between Ken, Rob and his amazing team, (who are always smiling when they greet me) i do genuinely feel like i'm part of the family now. A big thanks for all your help over the years

The staff here are really helpful. I have been using this place for a long time. Just sharing a warning to parents though. Check your child door locks are put back on after mot. More importantly check the car seats. We did several journeys before realising that our kid was not secured in any way as the belt had been undone. This shouldn't happen and should have been marked as an advisory on mot.

I live very far away from Cardiff, in Surrey. I am buying a car from a garage nearby to Lewis Motors and asked Ken at Lewis Motors to check it over. Its usually a very bad idea to buy something so expensive that you haven't even seen, from people you don't know! However, when I spoke to Ken I immediately sensed that this would be an okay thing to do as he comes across so well and was happy to help with the pre purchase inspection (despite being busy.) I trusted him to be my eyes and ears. He did a thorough check up on the car and identified any bits an bobs to look out for (there was nothing serious) but as it didn't take him that long he wouldn't take payment from me. What a nice place and a super chap. Honesty and kindness are rare in the motor industry, but I found these qualities here. Thank you Ken.

My car was broken and I couldn't drive properly , I called to different stations in Cardiff and couldn't get an appointment, when I was walking on my way back from the gym I realized I live very close to this stations, Ken booked my appointment and explained everything for me. After service I realized my exhaust system and something in engine was broken, they replaced those broken parts. Even though I was skeptical since I don't know a lot about cars, I can clearly notice my car is driving like a new , even sound of the engine is different, I will definitely use this even for my next MoT

Cannot speak highly enough of the level service and prompt attention. Fault with my car was seen and diagnosed same day and repair carried out within 24 hrs. Car also cleaned which I was not expecting. Cannot recommend highly ENOUGH!

EDIT: Having received a call from the Garage to apologise regarding the text reminders and an offer of making amends, I'm increasing my review to 5* - while mistakes can happen with automated systems, the fact they cared enough to call up and explain goes to show they're a garage that prioritise service, both vehicular and customer. [ORIGINAL REVIEW] Work was done in a day, car was cleaned and it wasn't unreasonably over priced. They lose points for the mid day call to sell me MORE work, and then lose further points for adding me to their mailing list without permission. 6 texts in a weekend to book an MOT that's not due for another month THE DAY after my car was in your garage?
