Start with the positive. Great car service and well priced. Booked in for a minor service and MOT. MOT was not carried out (but also not charged). Failed to either notice or ask if this needed doing as considering it expired in 11 working days including over a festive break during initial booking, a phone call the day prior, during drop off or pick up of vehicle. Luckily checked a few days later to find no successful test was showing. Phoned the garage to confirm and ask why. Could not give a reason but their suggested solution was a test date one week after expiry (would have resulted in driving illegally). Thankfully able to get a slot at 12h notice with another local garage.

Monico Garage Ltd was recommended by a family friend who has been using them for many years. I have had a few MOT's and a service done with the gentlemen here. All first class. The staff were friendly and helpful, and prices very reasonable. Had my 3rd MOT with them recently, and they were able to squeeze in a service at short notice and fix a broken wiper arm! I have since recommended this garage to my partner, and she recently had an excellent experience with them. Would recommend

I approached 3 garages for quotes. The Monoco was the only one to ask to see my vehicle before quoting. I was quoted 2 prices on the basis that if the exhaust was difficult to remove it would take longer.

Excellent service comes as standard. The Monico takes you back to a time when customers were treated with respect and courtesy. I switched from a main dealer where I was treated poorly and my experience each time I take my car to the Monico reassures me I made the right choice.
