As I work for a prestige motor company I am used to providing great service. Today my wife's car had its MOT and major service carried out, was quoted a price for this,had extra work on the brakes found on the mot .was called to explain what was required and when the car was finished. The staff I dealt with were very helpful and curtiouse and provided that great service I spoke of at the start of my review.

Stars garage have old fashioned courtesy and its refreshing in these days of rush and tear. A family run company and it shows. Very helpful if you have a problem. Will do upmost to help. My car broke down over the weekend, it was late Saturday evening. Seen by AA, and they were unable to repair the car and advised to send it to this garage. Left the car overnight, and I left the keys in the hatch as they were not open until Monday. Gave them a ring first thing Monday morning, and they got the car repaired on the same day! They were initially not sure whether they will have time to do it as it seemed they were well fully booked, but they managed to do it which is brilliant! I think I was charged appropriately, I can't say I know much about car repairs and parts, but when I spoke to my friends it was appropriate for what they did. All in all, very pleased with the service, and the lady on the phone was really helpful and polite. Will definitely go again if needed 😁

First time having to put a car in for an MOT. Stars made the entire process easy to do. They replied to my email quickly. They were very friendly when I got to reception and had everything done within an hour. They phoned me when the car was ready and were pleasent throughout. I was surprised at the price to I was expecting it to be more than it was. Very good value for money and after taking the car to a few different garages and being ripped off this will now be my go to garage. I would 100%recommend to everyone. Staff were lovely.

I called this garage at around 9.30am asking if they had time to look at a tire, as it was losing air very quickly and I didn’t know if it could be repaired or needed replacing. 45 minutes later I was leaving the garage again with the tire repaired and having paid a fantastically competitive price for the repair. What a great service. I was expecting my car to fail the MOT it needed, and it did. They explained everything that was wrong and what it would cost to fix it. Nothing was done without my approval, so no nasty shock of a bill when I came back to collect my car. A great professional garage that explain every process to fix my car and why it needed fixing. A credit to the whole team in Stars and now my whole family go there too. Thank You Stars Garage. Plus, when I collected the car, it had all been cleaned, so no greasy hand marks on the wings and bonnet. Thanks again.

I cannot think of something I even slightly dislike about this garage. I believe it is largely a family run business which is always great to see in this day and age, with some of the nicest people I know in there. For the past 10-ish years my grandparents have been using this garage after being recommended by the RAC (I believe) and we are all glad they did. I have been using this garage myself for the past two years for my own cars since getting my first car and they offer the best prices and services that you can find. To name one particular incident, about a year ago I had one of my tires blow out and was a little bit stranded as I didnt have breakdown cover at the time, I initially contacted the AA and they wanted £180 alone, which is extortionate compared to what stars offered. They arrived at the scene very quickly all things considered and although I cant remember the exact figure they did recovery, replaced both front tires and did wheel alignment in the region of £250 which is astonishing compared the AA. I am very grateful for this garage and will continue to use it for years to come. Will highly recommend to anyone.

Took my car in to get the bonnet cable replaced. The part had to be ordered in but they had managed to pop the bonnet open and check the levels top up the screen wash. After the part had been replaced they gave the front of the car a clean. Was cheaper than I expected (especially after seeing some scary prices online from other places/people who had done in other places). Friendly staff and did their best to get it done so I could get to work.

Had my M O T and it failed I was gutted they said we will try to get it done asap but we are very busy a couple hours later and get a call saying about an hour you have your car back and the staff are very very polite would I recommend them yes I would very highly you cannot get this kind of help and service from main dealers thank you stars Garage 👍
