Had my Audi A3 2.0tdi engine rebuilt at S.V.S after timing belt snapped & wrecked it.. They were quicker than expected even though there were 2 bank hols in the time. Couldn't be happier with the result.the cars driving better & smoother & faster than when it was brand new.. Awesome place & amazing work carried out at S.V.S I would recommend 2 any1.. Until something goes wrong then they use every excuse in the book not to honour the warranty.

After my car developed an awful sound, I had it towed to the team at SVS who diagnosed the fault, my engine needed to be stripped and rebuilt, I had asked around a few other engine centres for quotes but SVS were more realistic with their figures. The job was done to a very high standard and I was kept informed on what was going on. SVS actually care and want to help, its not all about the money, also the after care is 2nd to none. Will definitely be using them for all my future vehicle requirements.

My car broke down last week (VW Eos) Terrible sound coming from the engine. AA was unable to fix at the roadside. I made some phone calls and ended up towing the car to SVS who very quickly diagnosed the fault as the fly wheel. The car was recovered on the Thursday and was ready for collection on the Saturday morning. Car all fixed as good as new, also new breaks fitted along with a service/oil change. Car runs great and such a quick turnaround. Dave is extremely professional and polite to deal with. Cant thank the team enough for getting my car back on the road as quickly as they did. Excellent communication throughout, didnt need to worry about a thing. Price was a lot less than I though too. Great work guys. Thanks again. Rich

Cant thank Gail & David enough - engine went on my Wife's VW Golf just before Xmas, called them up, collection arranged, vehicle fully repaired and back to us by new year - very impressed indeed and a great price. This garage is probably the best of it's kind that I have ever found. The staff are polite, efficient and professional; the work was carried out as agreed and on time as well as being guaranteed for 12 months. Gale, who seems to run the organisation from her desk and her business partner David made every effort to keep me informed as to how the work was progressing and when I collected the car it had been thoroughly cleaned. I can thoroughly recommend SVS to anyone who requires a specialist garage and in fact I intend whenever practicable to ask them to service my vehicles. Excellent, simply excellent. JAH

Fast, Great Price, Excellent Work My problem was a destroyed engine which meant the car was worthless, SVS provided a great option of changing the engine at a great price, I searched around for a week and couldn't get a price anywhere near SVS's quote. They picked the car up and turned it around in 1 week, amazing! They also offer a 12 month warranty on the engine as long as you take the car back to them for servicing. Gale and David kept me informed on the condition of the parts of my engine they were to reuse and also told me when when the car was ready. If you need an engine go no further than SVS, they have been brilliant for us.

These guys are fantastic great service they had my daughters ford focus 16 diesel it had a bad oil leak so i rang up these guys they had car in to look over found where the leak was coming from rang me to inform me and we had car back 2 days later all sorted and and great price I was expecting a bigger bill if in honest and all the men working there are really tidy nice polite guys Regards chris moody.

These guys are quietly competent and do the job well. I’m sure they do the routine maintenance well but for out of the ordinary issues, in this case malfunctioning auto transmission there was no pretence. They knew their profession well. They sorted my issues out and within a reasonable time frame and at reasonable cost. I intend to use their services again and I highly recommend to others.

I have owned cars for 34yrs and have used loads of different garages over that time. This is the best garage out of them all. Gale is very friendly and knowledgeable nothing is two much. I have never had to return after a repair like I have for other garages. The job is always done properly and they do not try and tell you need things repaired when they don't. They also wash your car before you pick it up. The best bit is they are very reasonable with their prices they do not rip you of. Well recommended once you have visited once you will not use anyone else.

Don't take your car anywhere else!! If your looking for a specialist, honest and trustworthy garage that will do the most complicated tasks at a great price, then contact SVS. I received a quote from my local garage for a dual mass fly wheel, clutch and turbo on my Audi a3. After the initial shock of 'what the #### am I going to do' I was recommended to contact SVS. I spoke to Gail (who i must be honest, knows more about cars than anyone I know), who was friendly and extremely helpful. She gave me a quote over the phone. I couldn't believe it, it was nearly half the cost with genuine parts. I took the car to there workshop and received a phone call 2 days later saying "your cars ready". I would recommend this garage to anyone

I've had my BMW 1 Series back for a little over a week now. I'm very impressed with the engineering work. My timing chain failed causing a considerable amount of engine damage. Dave and the team dismantled the engine down and rebuilt it using upgraded parts. The engine sounds and performs better than before. Great work at cost effective rates!! Cheers

SVS fixed my car for £4600 less than the quote from my local Skoda dealer. Yes, you read that right! The dealer told me I needed a new engine when the camshaft failed (at just 45K miles!!), but SVS rebuilt the engine for me within a week. I thoroughly recommend SVS - they couldn't have been more flexible, helpful, and efficient. Engine now running perfectly, and a 12 month guarantee on the work is reassuring!

Recommended to come here for engine reconditioning, took my Range Rover all the way here from London as best price I could find. All other places wanted around £15k, these guys did a spot on job for just £5k. Can't recommend highly enough

I've just had the 500 mile service completed at SVS after running in my newly rebuilt VW Corrado VR6's engine. The rebuilt engine feels tighter, more responsive and more powerful than at any point during my ownership of this now 24 year car, I'd go as far as to say it feels like a brand new car again. The staff at SVS have been incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the process, they really do know their engines, in fairness a VR6 is not a common engine and parts are not exactly abundant. In short, without SVS my car would probably have been off the road for a long time, maybe even permanently. They even arranged collection of the car from 50 miles away for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this business to anybody needing an engine rebuilt or any other mechanical work.

Keith Harris - Had a problem with my Renault Espace that everybody shyed away from. Dave, Gail and the team did an excellent job removing the heads, replacing gaskets etc. Engine running well.
