Obviously things are pricey but I guess that's just part of running a vehicle!!!! I feel happier going here to get work done and then knowing I'm safe when I drive my car. s. b.My Mini cost over £30,000 when new, so not cheap.
5 years on, understandably it needed repairs. I had a new clutch fitted and a service carried out by a local garage, they did an ok job, but i felt something wasn't right, so wanting the car running 100% i went to another garage who caim to be Mini experts for yet another service only 3 months later, plus i had a slight oil leak.
How wrong i was about them being experts, £1000 later (excluding the service cost), the oil leak was still there and they wanted another £1000 to fix the leak, claiming it wasnt as they first thought the 4x4 transfer box, but the crank shaft seal.
As the car went in for its service needing a side light bulb replacing, which they forgot to do, despite the dash board telling them it had blown, i decided to go elsewhere.
I'd heard so many good reports about Fearnley Motors in Ardleigh i booked it in.
They fixed everything, plus when stipping the car down also sorted out parts of the car i always assumed were a bit iffy but how Mini's ran, they put right other jobs that i'd paid for in the past, but had never been done properly.
I like my cars to run perfect and have now found a garage that exceeded my expectations. I would never go elsewhere. If Fearnley Motors can please me, trust me, you won't regret going there. P Milton
