l. s.Well what can I say this garage is just great and I’ll try to explain why. My pride and joy is a Mercedes c63 and I don’t let just anyone touch it for obvious reasons.1 it’s a beast of a motor and 2 I started of as a car mechanic but haven’t done anything in years but still know my way round a car but leave maintenance etc to others now as no longer interested in getting dirty so I like to think I can spot a good honest garage of which RB motors are just that. I’ve used RB motors 3 times now and I first got them to replace all the metal brake pipes due to another garage failing my car on it’s mot because of them being slightly corroded. So I gave my car to RB motors and they done a cracking job and at a very good price too . I also have gotten RB motors to carry out a full service + differential oil change and on another visit replaced the auxiliary belt and idle pulley . I’ll be booking my car in with them again very soon for a automatic transmission oil and filter change too. So for a honest and decent garage I would highly recommend these guys to anyone .
C. H.Went here for the 1st time a few weeks ago after having no Aircon for a few months i thought I just needed a re-gas so I contacted local garages for quotes and went with RB Motors as they were recommended by the guys at Braiswick tyres.
They fitted me in quite sharpish and charged the pretty much standard rate for a re-gas.
However.. my re-gas only lasted 1 day before blowing out warm air again so I went back to RB motors and the mechanic inspected the car for over an hour to see if he could find any obvious leak which he couldn't!
He recommended I booked it in so he could inspect the Condenser. I did rebook for a week later and they found that the condenser has had it. They replaced it and i had my car back a few hours later with lovely cool aircon once again. I felt the cost was actually quite reasonable for all the work and labour so I'm very happy and will use these guys again for other mechanical issues for sure 👍

J. R.Helped me out of a bind when no other garages nearby would help. I needed a new oil cooler fitted and despite being booked out for the day they had it sorted by lunch and for a very reasonable price. These guys won’t let you down.
T. T.Nice people. Fixed my vehicle very quickly but it wasn't cheap. Also damaged my vehicle and tried to repair it, not very well though. Eventually did repair it instead of replacing it which I would have done. Communication was good.
B. A.Just had my Fiesta serviced and MoT'd at R.B. Motors on the Whitehall Industrial Estate in Colchester. I have to say, what a great little garage. Would highly recommend them if you have had bad experiences at other garages and looking for a trustworthy place. Very friendly people and the quote they gave is actually what I ended up paying. Five stars from me.
