Went to SAC to diagnose why my A/C wasn't working, Simon fit me in on a busy Saturday morning in the middle of this summer's heatwave. He showed that I was completely out of refrigerant gas. He first offered a pressure test to show there weren't any major leaks. Did the UV dye test too and then regassed my car. A/C now blowing ice cold! Would definitely recommend Simon to anybody with A/C problems.

Hottest day of the year and my aircon breaks down. Dropped in on the off-chance. The guys checked and confirmed leak but asked for no payment as car still under warranty. Helpful and honest. What more could you ask for?

I had been told I needed a new alternator for my car got quotes of up to £600 to £680 just for the alternator which I thought was ridiculous as the car wasn’t showing a electrical issue and it was just noisy I gave SAC a call they squeezed me in replaced the bearings checked it over I replaced the alternator myself it works perfectly now!. great price quick turn around!. saved me hundreds I’ll definitely be using SAC again and recommending them for sure!..

Arrived here on a very hot day (35°C) for an Air conditioning regass, big queue due to the heat but was treated with professional courtesy and service done within the time frame given. Would recommend highly, always call before going to check availability but worth the price and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The guys here know there stuff, went to a place to have air con filled guy told me air con compressor needed replacing. I was looking at a bill for about a grand. Then I remembered these guys, they did my altenator on my Range Rover sport a few years back. Straight away they did some tests, no issues. Air con as good as new. Top lads

Simon at SAC was really helpful. He sourced a replacement for an old and unsual compact tractor alternator which had to fit in a very small space, he got it spot on and did it quickly. He was then very helpful over the phone when i found the wiring was slighly different and needed help with it. All now working and the price was fair. My Golf died a slow death with the starter motor finally giving out. Booked it in with SAC who quoted a price instantly, for supply and fitting, which was very reasonable. Got given a push to get me down there and was served quickly and politely. Phone call saying it was done and picked up, again very friendly pickup. The car has started better than any time since I've had it. It actually makes me wonder if it had been changed by the dealership when I had it seen to before - that's another story. Strongly recommend them to anybody with starter motor trouble.

After Amazon let us down on delivering a new alternator for our 1969 Renault Estafette, I whipped off our original alternator and took it to SAC with our tale of woe, and requiring a working vehicle by the next day. By luck, Simon was on the front desk and simply couldn’t have been more helpful during our predicament. Whilst also managing my expectations, I walked out confident that if it could be rectified, it would be and that’s all I could ask. True to his word, Simon rang me within an hour and explained the fault he’d discovered and would attempt to fix. Again, Simon rang within the time he said he would and informed me the alternator was ready for collection and the price was extremely reasonable! It was brilliant to be able to walk into somewhere who took ownership of an issue and exuded confidence in their ability, even on a 50 year old vehicle! I was contacted when I was told I would be contacted, and treated brilliantly in every aspect. SAC should be rightly proud of the service they gave me.

I highly recommend SAC Autocool -Arches - Coventry. Bank holiday Monday the battery light on the dash of my Freelander lit up. After going to Halfords for a free check battery or alternator. I realised the alternator wasn't charging correctly. I do work at a vehicle research association where parts, labour etc are at hand, but as I'm off for the week decided to experience a company outside. The work carried out at SAC Autocool was excellant. Danny replaced the bushes in the alternator, advised me regarding a worn drive belt to replace or not. I found them very professional whilst being friendly and informative. Excellant value for money.
